Jae Joong was aware of the fact that she was avoiding him. That he didn't care, what really bothered him was that she acted as if he didn't exsist. Yes she was avoiding him...so he did exist to some extent, but she really didn't care about him...at all! He was Kim Jae Joong, every female were well aware of him. From the older ladies to the little kids...they'd turn to look at him and give him a smile. Ok so he was pretty big headed about this, but it was nice to be admired for his beauty. He'd watch as she walk in at the very last second and bolt out the door before he could even get out of his seat, it pissed him off.
Jae Joong was already sitting at the table when everyone else showed up for lunch.
"What's wrong with him?" Yoochun asked Changmin.
Changmin shrugged, "He was fine in class..."
Hye Su sat down next to Jae Joong, "Are you ok? Do you need me to get you anything oppa?" she asked in a disgustingly sweet voice.
Maki walked by the table and Jae Joong laughed out loud out of the blue, making everyone around him jump. He watched as she walked by without even glancing at him. Hye Su's eyes followed his. "UGH!" Jae Joong said and stood up from the table. "I'm not hungry, I'm going for a walk."
"Oppa want me to come with you?" Hye Su asked.
Jae Joong walked away from her shaking his head no.
Yuri turned to Yuhno, "Baby where does Jae Joong go when he goes on his 'walks'?" she asked trying to get an answer so that Hye Su could make her way to him.
He looked at her, "You know I can't tell you that."
"Why not? Don't you love me?" she asked.
"You know I do, but that's my hyung...and I respect his privacy. Besides they're not always the same place...either way we don't really know either."
She sighed, "Fine." she turned towards Hye Su and gave her an apologetic look. Hye Su just gave her a sad smile and just shook her head. She did however glare over at the table that Maki had walked over to.
Maki shivered again, "WHAT THE HELL?!" she exclaimed.
"What's the matter?" Sanny asked petrified.
"I don't know...I just keep getting these weird cold chills...like someone has it out for me."
"Maybe you're a water type ninja." Hyo said.
"Hyo...I don't think I'm a ninja..." Maki said but laughed, the other two laughed as well. Lunch was definitely more pleasent today for the trio.

The day ended and four guys walked out onto the roof of one of the abandoned school buildings. Jae Joong was lying on a cot staring up at the sky.
"HYYUNNGG!" Junsu called out playfully and went to sit on the edge of the cot. "We've come to take you out of your misery!"
"Misery?" Jae Joong asked sleepily.
"What's wrong with you dude?" Yoochun asked, "You've been acting so weird today...are you sick?"
"Yeah you're starting to scare Changmin." Yunho added.
Jae Joong looked up and Changmin was hiding behind Yunho, it was a funny sight actually because Changmin was the tallest out of the group but he was crouching behind Yunho and peeking over Yunho's shoulder to look at Jae Joong.
"Mianhae...I've just had a lot of things on my mind." Jae Joong said.
"Well you can tell us, we're brothers right? You can always tell us anything hyung." Changmin said.
"I know but right now I'm not really sure...I just need to think about it some more. Then I'll let you guys know."
"YAKSUKO?!" Junsu asked in a squeaky baby voice and holding out his pinky finger. Jae Joong flashed him a million dollar smile and linked his pinky with Junsu.
"Yaksuko." he said breathlessly.
The guys started to talk seriously about new recruits that they were interested in for the next week. They seemed to be the only group that weren't as harsh to get others to join, but then again once they joined they were put through rigorous training. Every new recruit had one chance to leave the group on their own, if they stayed they needed to work their asses off. DBSK were one of the nicer groups out there, but they were hardcore. They didn't take things lightly and when they were challenged they went in with all intentions of winning.
The weekend was pure bliss for Maki, she sat around not doing much. She had finished her homework on Friday night and had lounged away most of her Saturday morning. Her dad walked into the house. "Hey sunshine!" he said happily.
"Hi Appa. Where have you been?"
"The nice Ajhumma next door wanted to take me to a nice little shopping district where I could get quality groceries." He explained.
"Oh..."
"Yes and speaking of which she would like for us to go over to her place for dinner tonight."
"Dad...did you...go on a date?"
Her dad turned and looked at her, he burst out laughing. He laughed so hard and long that he was crying. "AIIGOOO! GOSH NO! She is a very nice little lady, but she's about 80 years old Maki...besides she still has her husband and he'll be there with us for dinner tonight."
"Well then in that case we should go."
"You are one weird kid...glad you're mine."
"Thanks Appa." she said and rolled her eyes playfully and helped her dad unpack his purchases. Dinner was awesome. She thought her dad could cook but Auntie Bok was awesome. She made an array of food and there were only four of them for dinner. They chatted and Maki learned more about them, turns out they were actually pretty wealthy but would rather live simple then grandioso. Maki was impressed.
After dinner they walked back to their apartment.
"So how has your training been going?" her dad asked her.
Maki sighed, "I haven't seen Dai Dai in awhile. Ever since we moved here I haven't really been able to get much practice in."
"I don't know why you keep up with such violent sports...aren't you a girl?"
"Yeah well I kind of lack in the girlie department you know that."
"I know...your Umma was the same way. You know I met your Umma at one of her matches...I was selling my special vegetable buns at the tournament. She fell in love with my cooking and I fell in love with her awesome ability to throw men more than double her size over her small little body. She was amazing...and you take after her in every single way." he grinned.
"Thanks, that means a lot." Maki smiled back, "Does that mean I take nothing from you?"
"You my dear although can not cook worth a lick, you can however maintain a healthy appetite, not only that but you have a strong stomach...very admirable."
"I guess..." she laughed out loud, they both meditated before heading off to bed.
