He got off the bed and stood up. She looked at him, her dad's clothes were about 5 sizes too small for him. She laughed. Jae Joong jumped on top of her, causing her to take a sharp intake of breath.
He quickly got off of her. "What's wrong?"
She grimaced but didn't answer him. He looked at her stomach and slowly slid up her shirt. Huge dark bruises were starting to form. His eyes grew as large as the bruises. "YAH! GWEN CHAN NAE YO!?" He yelled.
She quickly pulled her shirt down, "Yeh."
He gave her the 'don't lie to me look'. "I need to take you to the emergency room." he said.
"Why can't you call your doctor like last time?"
Jae Joong froze he needed to think of something fast, "Moh? Are you getting used to the rich life?" he asked.
"Anniyo. I like the fact that he doesn't ask questions and that he won't tell Appa."
He sighed, "Anniyo I can't call him."
"Wae?"
"Out on vacation?" he said, he looked at her and she just stared back at him. He sighed, "I can't lie to you anymore."
"Lie to me?" She slowly sat up in bed, wincing as she did.
He nodded and looked away from her and then back, "I turned my back on my family."
"What do you mean?"
He sighed, "They told me to choose...you or Aya. Obviously you can figure out what my choice was."
"Go back." she said suddenly.
"Moh?" he asked confused.
"Family is everything...go back." she said but she didn't seem angry at him...just sad.
"Yah..." he said taking her face in his hands, "I told you, you're my family now. I'm here for you remember?"
"But your fam--" she didn't get a chance to finish, he kissed her.
"Don't worry about that right now...for now I'm all yours. I don't need the money...or the name, nothing matters without you."
She buried her face into the crook of his neck and shoulder, he held her gently afraid to hurt her even more. "Do you feel like anything is bruised or broken?"
"Anni..."
"Well maybe I'll get Hye Sue to take you to her Appa and just have him give you a once over. I'll be back later on today ok?"
"Will you stay here?"
"For a bit, but the guys are housing me for the time being. Then I'll go out and get a job to get my own place." He yawned and kissed her forehead, "Give me a call if you need anything ok?"
She nodded and watched as he changed out of her dad's clothes into his now fresh and dried clothes from yesterday. He waved goodbye to her as he walked out of the door.
She sat for a moment on the air bed bored already, when it hit her. She had the DVD from last night! She got up as quick as she could off the air bed without causing herself too much pain and went to find her clothing from last night. She saw that they were being hung out to dry in the bathroom. There was no DVD there, she went to the washer...nothing there either. She searched the whole house for the DVD but it was no where...
"Did I even bring it?" She wondered if she had lost it as she was running ot the cemetary or when they brought her back to her house. She wanted to ask them if they had seen it but that would only lead to telling them what was on the disk. She groaned and went to try to wash herself up.

Jae Joong walked out of her house and hailed a cab, he reached into the back pocket of his pants and pulled out a DVD, he had to get to Changmin's house and fast to figure out why Maki had this with her.
After she was done the girls and her dad were back home. Her dad had to leave for the weekend for a quick trip to Uncle Won's home. He was sick and needed help around the house, Mr. Park didn't want to leave Maki but she made him go anyways. She assured him that the girls were here and so was Jae Joong and DBSK.
Right now someone else needed him.
Mr. Park left the house begrudgingly, not wanting to leave his precious daughter but his brother needed him. The girls took Maki to see Hye Sue's dad and he gave her a thorough physical...everything was fine, she was a bit banged up and he lectured her and the rest of the girls for 10 minutes about safety.
Once they were done the girls went out for an ice cream treat. Maki sat listening to them talk about their upcoming duel versus Cho-Young, they were all excited and nervous at the same time. "Have you guys found a sixth fighter?" Maki asked.
Hye Sue nodded her head once in a stiff motion, "But I don't think we're going to be able to pull it off with her."
"Wae?" Maki asked.
"Well her fighting level is that only next to Eun and Song's...she couldn't even get past Ae-Cha. If we can't find a girl who fights at least our level or better, there's no way we're going to beat their sixth girl."
"Have you guys found out who their sixth girl is?"
Yuri nodded, "Some girl named Sayuri but thats about it, they're keeping information pretty tight regarding her...we're not even sure that's her real name."
Hearing Sayuri's name almost caused Maki to just tell them that she'd do it...but in the end it's still not her fight, not this time.
"Are you sure you don't want to fight with us?" Ae-Cha asked, as if she heard Maki's thoughts.
"Mianahae...and now with me like this...I don't know if I'll be ready in time."
"What happened anyways?" Song asked.
"Well I don't know if my dad has told you but yesterday was the anniversary of my mom's death. It gets really hard for me this time of year. After going with my dad to her site, I had to go run some errands. As you all know I haven't been in my right state of mind lately...so I got jumped, I wasn't even able to defend myself." She shook her head as if she herself couldn't believe that she had lost, "Pathetic."
"But I don't understand why you couldn't tell any of us...ESPECIALLY Jae Joong oppa. He was so worried about you." Sanny said with concern written all over her face.
"Yeah I was getting sick and tired of watching him pace around holding out his cell phone in front of him waiting for your phone call." Ae-Cha said rubbing her temples.
The girls continued to talk and Maki stared off into the distance, just letting their voices distract her from thoughts. Her thoughts were always plagued by Sayuri...Maki was afraid she wouldn't be able to save any of her friends...if even one. She looked around the table...who would Sayuri go after first?
