After Xiao You’s heartful talk with Lei, she found her self on the places that Ximen had taken her on their first real date, almost a year ago. Those memories that they’ve shared together are strongly pulling her to return back and visit those places again.
She asked her chauffer to stop when they passed by the coffee shop that they’ve been before twice.
“Good afternoon, Miss Xiao You,” the shop’s manager bows to her as he saw her entered.
“G-Good afternoon,” she greets him back surprised to hear him mentioned her name. She looks around. Everybody with smiles on their face greet her mentioning her name as well. Now she realized that Ximen is not kidding when he told her before that everybody here knows who she is.
“This way Miss Xiao You,” the man leads her to the exact table where she and Ximen sat before.
The man pulled a chair for her as they reached the innermost left corner of the coffee shop.
“Thank you,” he told him as she sits.
“What would you like to have, Miss Xiao You?”
“A black coffee, please.”
“Okey, for a moment Miss Xiao You.” The man bows his head and turns to leave her.
Instantly, she felt like hearing again the laughters that they had the last time they are there. It plays to her ears like Ximen’s voice is really real and that he too is sitting with her on the next chair. She shakes her head several times to brush off those thoughts…
She is really an idiot, she told her self. She tries hard to not entertain those memories with him but yet she plans to go to the places where she had shared those times with him most.
“Miss Xiao You here is your black coffee.
She looks up to see the man placing her cup infront her.
“Thank you.”
“Anything else, Miss Xiao You?’
“This will be fine with me.”
“Okey, Miss Xiao You,” the man turns his back to leave her again.
“Uh, Mister?”
The man turns to her, “Yes, Miss Xiao You?”
“I-Is Ximen often here?”
“Yes, Miss Xiao You but he always comes here alone after the last time you came here with him.”
She looks down.
“He checked on us the other day and informed us that the next time he’ll be here, he will be visiting with you.”
She turns to look at the man. “I didn’t come here with him today.”
“We know that he is a busy person to go here everyday but we are glad to see you here again, Miss Xiao You.”
She smiles to him.
“And we are glad to hear from Mr. Ximen that he will put the management of this coffee shop under your name next month after your family comes back from your vacation.”
“Huh? I-I didn’t know what you’re talking about.” She was obviously too surprised to hear that.
The man’s face is alarmed. “I’m sorry Miss Xiao You. I’m sorry I didn’t know that Mr. Ximen planned it as a surprise for you. Kindly forgive me,” the man bows his head.
“No, I mean it’s okey. I really don’t know anything about it but I think it’s not really what you thought of.”
“I’m really sorry, Miss Xiao You…”
“Its-its okey…”
The man politely left her…and she was left wondering why Ximen came up with that plan.
Another surprise comes again to her knowledge when she dropped by the moviehouse that Ximen reserved for before. The the same lady who assisted them told her that Ximen has reserved the whole cinema again for the two of them for tomorrow’s showing and was also too surprised that she came ahead of their schedule. She left the cinema in deep thinking on what Ximen is really planning.
When she came to the Italian restaurant where they had their late lunch, she was astonished more to hear from the resto staffs that Ximen informed them to cater for a small occasion that would be held this weekend in Ximen’s mansion. All were excited to ask her for her favorite foods because Ximen wants them to cook for it.
When she left the restaurant, she thought of not going anymore to the lingerie shop and the other fine dining restaurant where Ximen had taken her also. She is really confused now to still find out the other things that Ximen has already planned. She really can’t figure out on what he is up to.
She instructs the chauffer to bring her back to the Dao Ming’s mansion where she left little Ximen.San Cai advised her to take a walk, breathe and collect her thoughts to at least lessen her worries about what’s happening with her and Ximen that’s why after she spent some time with her bestfriend she went to Lei for some words of advice then stroll along. But never did she expect that after spending some time alone with her self, she will just be confused, worried and exhausted more.
The sun is already to set when Xiao You arrived at Dao Ming mansion. When she entered the spacious living room she noticed at once the presence of Lei and Jing around with the first couple. Jing and San Cai is giggling while baby talking to Sachi. Lei is crossed legs sitting listening to the F4 leader while Ah Si is talking to another man whom she is only seeing the back.
“Ximen?”
Though it came out from her as whisper, it was been loud enough to make the man she called turns around to her direction and sees her. It is only then that she also saw him carrying their son on his arms.
“Xiao You.” He softly uttered.
His eyes never left her as she walks towards them.
She also saw their friend’s eyes on her and Ximen.
When she come close to him, she moves to take little Ximen from him.
“You worried me,”Ximen gives her a kiss on her lips that surprised her, “where have you been?”
He keeps little Ximen on his arms.
She looks at him puzzled with his action and his presence because she knew that he will not be coming until tomorrow.
“I-I…”
“It’s okey,” he kissed her on her forehead, “get now your things, we’ll go home.”
His eyes left her face then he turns to his son. He kisses his son’s little face.
For a moment she just stands infront the father and son, contentedly watching them.
“I tried hard to finish those meetings ahead of time and get back here at once. I can’t stay there longer without you both by my side.” Ximen look up to meet her eyes again.
She takes her eyes from him and walks to San Cai.
San Cai gives her the small baby bag that she carried with her earlier when she came.
“We’ll be going ahead,” she leans to kiss her and get the bag from her.
“I’m really happy that I got spend some time with my godson, Xiao You. I’ll also set a schedule when Sachi and I could also visit you.”
“I’ll be counting on that,” she smiles to her bestfriend and kiss Sachi too then she faces Jing, “I also hope you can visit us, Jing.”
“Expect me on Ximen’s doorstep anytime now, Xiao You. I’ll just surprise you.” Jing kisses her, “you always take care of yourself, Xiao You.”
“I’ll do, thank you.” She moves to the F2’s side. Lei immediately reached for her, “don’t think so much, princess. You relax your self.”
She leans to kiss him, “thank you, Lei.” Lei gives him his cutest smile. Then she turns to face the f4 leader. “We’ll go ahead, Dao Ming Si.”
Ah Si smiles to her, “There’s nothing to be worried about, Xiao You, please stop worrying.”
She just nods to him.
Then Ximen holds her, “Let’s go.”
All four pair of eyes sent them off out the mansion.
As soon as they reach the Ximen’s mansion they went directly to the nursery room to send the already sleeping angel on his comfy crib.
Ximen plant a kiss on their son’s forehead before he finally got off his hold from him.
“You stay here first, I’ll just call Lynda to take care of little Ximen.” Ximen went to his step to leave the nursery.
“There’s no need now, Ximen. I’ll just change and sleep with him.Let Lynda takes her rest.”
“No,” he raised his hand, “we’ll be going out tonight.”
“Huh?”
“Just stay there with our son, I’ll be back.”
He left her in complete loss on what is really running on his mind.
After five minutes Ximen returns to them with Lynda after him.
Ximen leans again to kiss their son, “sleep sweetly, little Ximen. Mom and I will just spend some time alone,” he whispered to him then faced her after.
“You say goodnight now to your son, then change. I’ll see you outside your room after 15 minutes, honey.” He told her casually.
She stood still.
Ximen lovingly laid his eyes on her and hold her face, “I know I should have done this the first time I had found you again but… there have been things that I really need to settle first, I’m sorry honey … I let you worry again.”
She didn’t look at his eyes to see him, she kept her stare down.
Ximen hugs her. He envelops her in a very tight warm longing embrace.
“I miss you so much, Xiao You…” he kissed her hair and bury his face on it for a moment.
“Ximen…”
His hands moves to hold her face again, “we will talk,” he said that brushing his lips on her own.
She set her eyes on him.
“You change first then we’ll go somewhere.” He told her.
“L-little Ximen...”
He kissed her forehead then let go of her, “Lynda will take care of him.” Ximen turns to their son’s nurse.
Lynda bows her head to them, “Yes, Miss Xiao You don’t worry about your little angel, I will take care of him.”
Xiao You leans to his crib and give her son a kiss, “Goodnight, baby. Mama and Papa will not be far.”
Ximen holds her from her back, “don’t worry much, honey. Our son is a good boy he will not give Lynda a hard time.”
She let go of her son, then turns to Ximen, “I’ll just change.”
“Okey, I’ll see you in fifteen minutes.” Ximen winks at her.
