She cried for days and nights terribly as if she had just lost everything in her. It wasn’t just a normal thing that she lost, but it was very important thing that caused her heart to be damaged seriously that is hard to be mended. Ella Chen, the stubborn girl, lost her boyfriend just because of her break up with him. She began to recall back about that day, the Valentine’s Day, which was also their last date being a couple as well. If that time she could control her temper, if she could ever stop being a nuisance, she wouldn’t have lost control of herself and break up with him.
She loves him more than any of her boyfriends in middle school. She can’t remember when did she fall for him but all she knew that she realized she loves him. And after the break up with him, it makes her realized how much she loves him deeper than ever. She didn’t know losing someone that she loves gives her such a horrible feeling and received such a pain that she could not calm herself down. Everything was chaos in her mind and she regretted of breaking up with him.
“Ella?” A knock on her room door was heard as a girl entered her room without waiting for a reply. When she saw Ella was sitting on the ground, covering her body with her arms and her head down, she received a shock to see her state like that. As she rushed over to her and kneels beside her, she asked worriedly. “Hey Ella, what’s wrong? Huh?”
Ella lifted her head up and saw her best friend Selina, who came and visit her. “Selina… I… I…”
“Calm down, Ella. Now tell me what exactly happened to you? I heard from your mom that you locked yourself in the room for a few days. What caused you to be like that huh?” Selina questioned her in a gently voice, trying to comfort her at the same time.
Sniffing her nose and use her hand to wipe her tears away, she told her. “I broke up with Chun…” And then she began to cry once more, still unable to make herself better even though she cried for days. “I… I was too stubborn and… I didn’t intend to break up with him in the first place…” She paused and then continued. “… I tried my best but it seems that my habit of getting stubborn came back again…” Once more, she cried and cried till Selina had to pull her head to her shoulder, placing her hand behind Ella’s head and comfort her.
“I don’t want… I don’t want to lose him, Selina…” She cried again. “I really love him… I really do…”
Selina was in so much pain to see her best friend cried like that. Even when it was Ella’s grandmother passed away, she didn’t cry as much as now she was. Even though she wants to help her best friend, she knew how well Chun is a guy who treated relationship seriously a lot, probably more than Ella, who used not to bother whether their relationship will falls or not. But now, she could see how Ella loves Chun and was regretting everything that she did.
“Selina… if… if I apologize to him, will… will he forgive me? He will, right? Chun always forgives me everything what I did wrong. So this time, he will forgive me, right?” She asked, hopefully Selina could agree with her.
Selina simply smiled to signal that she agreed. “Yeah, I’m sure he will understand. He’ll forgive you.”

Ella woke up as early as she could before the school starts. She takes a look at the mirror in her bathroom and realized how swollen her eyes were. This was the results of crying days and nights and also doesn’t have a good sleep at night. Slapping her face to wake herself up, she told herself.
“I’m sure you can do it, Ella Chen. Chun will definitely forgive you. He will and he must!”
As soon as she finished everything what she has to do in the morning, she changed herself to her uniform and ran to the living room and has her breakfast.
“Ella dear, are you okay now?” Mrs. Chen asked her in an anxious tone since Ella hasn’t been herself lately.
“Yes, mom… I’m alright.” She forced a smile and replied.
“Are you sure?” Her mom asked again to make sure if she’s okay.
“Yeah, don’t worry about me. I’ll be alright.”
Honestly, she isn’t alright but she tried to pretend she is alright. She knew that as long as Chun forgives her, she’ll be definitely alright.

At last, she reached the school early. There weren’t many students around since she was about 45 minutes earlier than she normally did. She went to her classroom and took her seat.
“Now, since I have time, I shall let myself be prepared when I see him.” She told herself as she slowly plans.
It was almost the first period of the lesson. Students came in the class one by one as Ella slowly stood up from her seat, planning to go to Chun’s classroom and tells him. But before she could walk out from the classroom, she heard a gossip by one of her classmates.
“Hey, you know that Chun just dumped his girlfriend last week?”
“Is that so? Who was that girl he has been dating? I heard he confessed to that girl on his own!”
“Well, I’m not sure but all I know that he ‘dumped’ her because he couldn’t stand her behavior!”
Ella was shocked when she heard that from them. She felt her throat got something and wasn’t able speak or ask anything from them.
“And you know what? Just now I saw him walking with Rainie Yang, the smartest girl in the school. And I even heard that he called her ‘sweetie’. I bet they are dating now!”
One minute ago, she trusted Chun will forgive her if she apologized to him. One minute later, she hesitated and her mind went completely blank. He used to call her ‘sweetie’ when they both were still dating and now he called another girl ‘sweetie’ after they broke up only a week?
But without using her eyes to see, she refused to give up. She dashed out from her class and all the way to his class.
When the moment she almost reach his class, she saw a scene that she shouldn’t let herself to see. She saw a girl tipping her toes and then kissed his cheeks and then heard her saying ‘goodbye, darling’. After that he pulled her hand to him and then kissed her cheek just like what she did.
Ella almost fell from where she was standing. She can’t believe that he kissed that girl with his own free will. Does that mean she means nothing to him anymore? She wanted to scream, yell or anything that can released the pain in her but another part of herself was forcing her not to.
And then, their eyes met.
“I… I’m sorry, Chun. I mean I shouldn’t have just anyhow and break up with you. I’m… I’m sorry.” Ella tried to hold her pain and quickly apologized as she could.
That girl next to him was glaring at her with the popular woman jealousy eyes. Obviously, she could see that they were both a couple once.
“Do I know you?” He spoke intentionally and shot her heart.
“What?” She stuttered confusingly while shaking her hands in shocked.
“Well, after the break up you requested, I think there is no point for us to know each other. And don’t expect me to accept your apology, Ella Chen. I’m not like what I am before, who will just forget it what you have done wrong and then forgive you.” He said it out as if he treated her like nothing while he pulled that girl to him. “She’s my girlfriend right now and you’re nothing to me anymore. So get out of my sight and pretend you don’t know me, get it?”
After they both left, Ella stood there as if she had lost her mind. This was the first time that he treated her as cold as a stranger. This… was the first time she encountered such a terrible scene that was beyond her imagination.
She was shocked, terrified, and uncontrollably infuriated. Everything happened out of a sudden that made her out of her mind and shattered her heart into million pieces just in one shot. The pain inside her was so much that she felt herself having difficult in breathings. Surroundings around her seem to be blurry because she wasn’t able to think what she’s doing anymore. She placed her hand to her chest and slowly turns into a grip of her shirt.
Some of the students overheard their conversation and began to gossip and stared at her. Ella was looking more and paler on her look, not only the effect of shock but was also an expression of a sick girl who was having a high fever. Instead of helping the poor girl whose knees dropped to the ground and having breathing difficulties, they just stared and do nothing about it.
As Ella’s vision was getting fuzzier and she couldn’t hold the pain that was suffering her whole body, she fainted on the spot.

I can't express the feelings and actions of the characters very well but please do abide it. Hope I don't receive the treatment of being hit by rotten eggs for having such a lame and sad chapter. =)
