Chapter 2

A Cowboy

The horse was big, and built to the point one could see its muscles moving under the dusty brown hair. Jaejoong awed at the size of it. He had grown up in the city and had never seen a horse before. But even the bewitching beauty of the animal was not enough to keep Jaejoong's eyes from finding the muscular thighs wrapped around the horses torso. The city boy's eyes trailed up the marvelously filled sun bleached jeans to the riders robust abdomen squeezed by a black tank top. The pale green unbuttoned flannel shirt he wore accented his well built chest and bright face, its features at this moment displaying a great level of surprise, and his eyes were on Jaejoong. The business man slightly blushed and looked back down towards the horse as the rider led it to a small ring feeder next to the end of the drive way. The man tied his horse up quickly and skillfully before making his way over to the porch. He passed Jaejoong's car on the way there and slightly smirked at the awkwardness of it in his drive way. When he finally reached the porch, he went up to Jaejoong and extended his hand.

"Yunho," He smiled, his teeth perfectly straight and vividly white. Jaejoong could not answer at first, shocked how easily his own pale hand was able to fit comfortably into the strong grip of the other's work hardened one. Yunho lifted his eyebrow when Jaejoong did nothing at first. He was about to say if something was wrong until the smaller man spoke.

"Jaejoong," He whispered, "Kim Jaejoong."

"Nice to met you, Jaejoong." Yunho smiled again at him before pulling his hand away. Jaejoong shivered when their hands parted. However humid he felt from the weather, he still felt a sudden chill across him when the warm hand pulled back.

Yunho walked past Jaejoong up to the doorway where his mother was still standing. She had a broad smile covering her old face and was aiming it at Jaejoong. He looked back with furrowed eyebrows.

"Whats up with him?" Yunho whispered as he walked past her.

"Don't be mean to him. He is brand new here." She shuffled into the door Yunho was holding open for her. "I bet he's never been to a farm in his life."

"Yeah, I know that umma, but he looked almost scared of me." Yunho went in to the small kitchen and busied himself with washing up and getting out plates and utensils. Jaejoong was a few steps behind them, locating a coat rack and a place to put his shoes.

Ms. Jung slowly lowered herself into a old wooden kitchen chair that creaked under her weight. "He was probably just shocked at how much you smell like the rear end of a horse." Ms. Jung laughed. Jaejoong came in just then, catching the end of Ms. Jung's laughter and Yunho's red face before he turned back around towards the food. he joined Ms. Jung at the table in his own rickety chair.

"Thank you so much for inviting me in your house." Jaejoong smiled at Ms. Jung and slightly bowed his head.

"No problem, Chicken." She reached out her old but firm hand to pat Jaejoong's knee. "I could see the weather was bothering you. A nice supper and bed will have you roaring and ready to go tomorrow."

Jaejoong blushed, he didn't know his discomfort with the weather was that obvious. "You mean going down to get the information for the farm?"

"Yes. You will go with Yunho and do everything you need." She smiled at Yunho's back as he continued to make up the three plates. "Wont you be nice to Chicken tomorrow?"

"I'm always nice." Yunho turned around, holding the three full plates like a professional waiter. He walked them to the table and placed one before each person. "And why are you calling him chicken?"

"He is just skin and bones!" She exclaimed wrapping her hand strongly around Jaejoong's arm, her hand was able to wrap all the way around so that her finger tips were touching. "Why didn't you give him extra food?"

"He is not that skinny." Yunho said looking up and down Jaejoong's body.

"Why are we talking about this!?!" Jaejoong squeaked as he pulled his arm back and scooted closer to the table.

"Sorry..." Yunho smirked as he cut a large piece out of his meat and shoved it in his mouth. Ms. Jung smiled as she too cut her food, but in to much smaller pieces. Jaejoong was somehow able to eat all of the food on his plate, it was one of the few times he has had enough food to fill the entire plate rim to rim. Not that he was starved, but that he ate a different way in the city. Less food, higher class surroundings, more manors.

After dinner, Ms. Jung told Jaejoong he would be sleeping on the couch. She said the upstairs guest room was where the family dog has recently died, so Jaejoong was happy to help set up the couch for his bed.

"Does it matter to you if you have flowers on your sheets? I couldn't find any other ones that were clean." Yunho grunted as he made his way to the living room. His arms full of sheets, pillows, and blankets up to where you couldn't see his face.

"Yunho!" Jaejoong ran over and lifted up the two pillows that were in front of his face, stopping him just before he fell over the coffee table. "Be careful..." Jaejoong was going to insist that he didn't have to do everything for him, until he noticed how close the others face was, and his words caught in his throat. His eyes trailed over the soft lips, the light color, and a cute little mole to the corner of his mouth. Jaejoong thought for and instant how those lips would fell against his own, until Yunho's voice woke him up.

"Jae- Jaejoong-shii," He stuttered, gulping hard. "We have to fix up your bed." He quickly stepped past the other man and put his things on the floor. Jaejoong followed and helped spread out the sheet on the old faded couch, trying to stay as far away from the other as possible. But, he couldn't keep his eyes from dragging themselves back to the bulging muscles that flexed with Yunho's every movement. Jaejoong swallowed his pooling saliva and looked back down at the flowers on the fabric.

Ms. Jung walked in just as Jaejoong was finishing putting the pillows on his made make-shift bed. "Hope you have enough blankets, Chicken. It gets cold at night."

"I will be fine, Ms. Jung." Jaejoong bowed to the woman. "Thank you for your hospitality."

"Don't worry about it." She laughed. Ms. Jung waved for Yunho to follow her out of the living room.

After they both said their short goodbyes, Yunho's a little longer than her's, Jaejoong settled underneath the cozy blanks and quilts. He looked up at the old, stained celling, and smiled to himself.
