"Uh... Ok." Seul Gi got up slowly and followed Jae Joong. They went outside to the rock hide out. When they got there; Seul Gi sat down on a big boulder and Jae Joong stood up staring into her eyes.
"What was it that you wanted to tell me?" Seul Gi questioned.
'I should tell her...' "Uh.. Um... S...Sae...Sae Jin..." Jae Joong stuttered, "I uh..."
"Take your time..."
"Um... I just want to get to know you more... That's all."
"Oh?! Um... Ok, let's start with; when you were born and what was your most memorable moment, you know, all that good stuff." Seul Gi said looking at him.
'I blew my chance... I blew it...'
"Ok, I was born in Seoul, Korea. My parents and my grandpa died in Seoul when I was 13 and grandma, Yoo Jin and I, wasn't working, and the bills built up and people put red tagged on our stuff, we were forced to leave Seoul, and came here to Nam Hae. We moved to the quietest place in Nam Hae. We worked hard to get here. My most memorable moment is..." Jae Joong paused for a bit. He knew it was the time they fell off, "It was when my...my um... it was when i had my last birthday with my parents." Jae Joong said sadly; he knew he didn't really remember at all, but not he started to miss his parents.
"Oh.. i'm sorry to hear." Seul Gi got up and hugged him, "It's ok, you have me, Yoo Chun, Junsu, Changmin, YunHo, Grandma Kim, and Yoo Jin here for you."
Jae Joong was shocked at first but he smiled, "Thank you..." Seul Gi broke the hug and looked at him.
"Do you still want to hear about me?" Seul Gi smiled. Jae Joong knew she was going to mention the dead boyfriend but he tried to stay strong.
"Yea..." He whispered.
"OK!" Seul Gi sat back on her boulder, "I was also born in Seoul, Korea. My parents left me when I was young. They left me with my aunt, she raised me and taught me well. She died when I was 14. Then that's when my boyfriend came along and found me... But two years after, he died in a car accident..." She started to cry, "I miss him so much, I... I just don't know what happened. God... God chose him... He chose Hyun Woo! He should've took me instead; I didn't deserve this much... I didn't." Seul Gi sniffed. Jae Joong didn't know what to do, he didn't feel anything, he felt bad, he watched her shed her first tears in front of him, he went and patted her on the back.
Seul Gi was half telling the truth, her parents DID leave her when she was young, but for business, they were rich; and they left her with her aunt, and her aunt taught her how to be a lady, and Seul Gi became a singer and actress when she was 13, and when she was 14, her parents came back and introduced her to Hwan Hee, and they dated for two years and he died.
"The most memorable moment; was when he gave me those twelve roses, and one was plastic... He promised me he'd love me 'til then last rose die... And I'll do the same for him..." Seul Gi buried her face into Jae Joong's shoulder. Jae Joong continued to pat her. He didn't feel, the pain she carried inside. He was too busy thinking of himself, his own feelings but not hers.
