“I hate him!” Kevin continued to scream. “I hate him!”
The people nosily whispered, some pointed, and everyone made their own assumptions of what had perhaps happened. It wasn’t until Kevin had quiet down that people slowly began to resume in their original conversation.
“Kevin, don’t drink anymore.” Elieen tried to persuade.
“I don’t understand. Even after all these years, I still can’t compare to that woman. What’s so special about her?”
Elieen knew that Kevin was indicating Myolie. She had always wanted to know why Kevin disliked Myolie. She thought about asking him several times, but each time she had failed to do so. She’s heard other people in the business rumor that Kevin disliked Myolie because he had once loved her, but was rejected by her. He then turned his love for her into hatred.
Kevin began to sob, “Our friendship was great until she came along. She stole him away from me!” Elieen knitted her brows together in confusion of what Kevin meant by she had stolen him away from him.
“How come he doesn’t understand how I feel?” Kevin questioned. “20 years! We’ve been best friends for over 20 years. How does he not know that I like him?” Kevin cried in frustration.
Elieen was shocked, but she should have guessed. The person Kevin had loved all along was Raymond.
“Well, if that’s how he wants things then I’ll let him know the cost.”

“How come I wasn’t informed of today’s executive board meeting?” Raymond questioned as he entered the conference room.
“That’s because you are no longer part of this executive board. In fact, you are no longer a part of L.C.”
“What are you talking about Kevin?” Raymond asked with utmost confusion.
Kevin threw a folder in front of Raymond. Picking it up and reading through the content Raymond was in disbelief, “You asked me to sign this contract. You planned this all along?” Raymond asked, obviously hurt by his best friend’s action.
“You can’t blame anyone. You didn’t read over the contract carefully. You have now agreed to turn over your share of the company to me.”
“Why did you do this Kevin? You’re my best friend. I trusted you.”
“Our friendship ended the day that woman came into your life. I’m a busy man, so if you don’t mind I’d like for you to leave Mr. Lam.” Kevin said coldly. “Or else I’ll have the security guards escort you.”
Raymond was boiling with anger; he threw a punch right at Kevin’s face. Wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth, Kevin screamed, “Security! Security!” Two men came in, “Take him out of her, now!” Kevin demanded.

Leila barged into Kevin’s office, “Why did you do it?” Leila questioned. “I want to know why you had to cheat Raymond’s share in the company.” Leila demanded for an explanation.
“I did it because of you Leila.”
“No, it wasn’t because of me.” Leila sniffled, “You’ve changed Kevin. I don’t’ know what has become of you, but whatever it is, it has caused me to feel scared.” Leila left the office.
“Fine, leave! All of you, leave! I don’t need any of you!”

“Myolie, this is Leila. Have you seen Raymond?”
“No, I haven’t. Is something wrong Leila?” Myolie asked, she could tell that Leila was really worried.
“Kevin, he,” she paused. “Raymond, “again she paused.
“Leila, what happened?” Myolie questioned again.
“Raymond’s been force off the executive board. Kevin, he’s taken over all Raymond’s share of the company.”
“How is that possible?” Myolie knitted her brows together.
“I don’t know” Leila started to cry, “I just got back this afternoon, and everyone in the company was talking about it. Something about Kevin tricking Raymond into signing the contract.”
“Well, have you called his home?”
“No one answered at his home phone and I called his parents, but auntie said he hasn’t gone home.”
“What about his friends?”
“None of them have seen him.”
“Calm down Leila, why don’t we split up and start looking around for him.” After hanging up with Leila, Myolie quickly grabbed her purse and headed out the door. She bumped into Bosco as she turned the corner.
“Myolie, where are you going to?”
“Leila just gave me a call saying that Raymond’s missing. I was going to go help her look for him.”
“I’ll go with you.” Bosco offered. :”Don’t worry Myolie, I’m sure he’s alright.” Bosco tried to comfort as he continued to drive around the city.
Myolie redialed Raymond’s cell phone. Holding the phone to her ear she continued to look out the window hoping to spot Raymond. Bosco could sense Myolie’s anxiety over the disappearance of Raymond. She cared about him more than she knew.
“Stop the car!” Myolie pointed out the window, “There’s Raymond’s car.” Bosco quickly parked his car and the two got out. Myolie began to turn her head frantically both ways trying to find Raymond.
Bosco cranked his neck and looked further out, “He’s over there on the beach.” Myolie turned her attention to where Bosco was pointing.
”Raymond!” She yelled as she ran over to the beach. Raymond recognized Myolie’s voice immediately. “Raymond, are you alright?”
“Yee, I’ve lost everything.” Raymond cried, “First you, and now L.C. I have nothing left.”
“That’s not true, you still have so many people who care for you, auntie, uncle, Charles, Rachel, your Mah Mah, Leila, and” she hesitated before saying it, “me, we’ll always support you. Don’t you remember back then we didn’t have much, we started from scratch and eventually became successful.”
“But that was back when I still had you by my side, you were my motivation.”
“I’ll still be here to support you. I know you can do it Fung. You used to always tell me to have confidence in myself and my designs, now I want you to have confidence in yourself and your abilities. Everyone’s really worried about you, why don’t you go on home.” Raymond nodded.

Haha...I finally revealed why Kevin dislikes Myolie...good job to everyone who guessed that Kevin like Raymond...^0^....was anyone surprised...I tried to keep it low key so it would be a surprise, but you guys to be like, 'whoa that came from nowhere' so I decied to try to work it in as I worte the story...sorry for my incoherent rambling...
