“You’ll always love her only. Well I’m going to let you know how it feels to lose her forever!”
Raymond took a few steps forwards, “NO, KEVIN!”
Kevin shifted the gun and aimed it at Raymond. He walked from behind the chair where he’d tied Myolie and began to walk towards Raymond. Bosco took the chance and snuck over to untie Myolie.
“If I had told you that I’d love you, would you have loved me back?” Kevin asked Raymond.
“I…Kevin, you were and you still are my very best friend. You’ll always have a position in my heart that no one is able to replace. “Raymond answered truthfully.
Kevin heard noises coming from behind him; he turns around, “What are you doing?” he was about to aim the gun a Myolie. Raymond quickly went to wrestle Kevin.
A gun shot was heard. Bosco’s and Myolie’s eyes froze on the two men. Who had gotten shot was the question running through their minds.
Raymond began to collapse to the ground. His hand covered his stomach, but the blood had soaked through his white shirt and was covering his hand.
“RAYMOND!” Myolie screamed as she rushed over to his side.
Kevin could not believe what had just happened. He shot the man he loved. “I didn’t mean to…I didn’t mean to…” he continued to repeat. He ran out of the warehouse unable to accept the fact of what had just happened.
Bosco quickly looked around for anything clean to help control the bleeding. He saw some white sheets and immediately grabbed them. Bosco placed the sheets over the wound and applied pressure.
The sheets began to soak with bright red blood at an unbelievable rate. Myolie tried to convince Raymond that he would be alright, but her tears had betrayed her as they were falling uncontrollably from her eyes.
“Yee, don’t cry. You look prettiest when you smile.”
“Don’t talk, you’ll be okay. Nothing can happen to you.”
“I’m sorry I won’t be able to be here for you anymore.”
“Don’t say that! I won’t allow you for you to say anything like that. You’ll be okay. You have to be okay. Don’t you remember, you promised to take care of me until we become old. You said that you’d always be there for me, to cook for me, to take care of me…”
Raymond forced a smile, “You don’t need my anymore, you have someone better to take care of you.” He looked at Bosco. “And I know that you’ll be able to take care of yourself because you’re strong and independent.”
“No, I need you Fung!” Myolie insisted.
“Take care of her for me.” Raymond instructed Bosco.
“Don’t talk nonsense at this time. Help is on the way. You’ll be fine. Myolie needs you.” Bosco assured.
“Yee, I have a question of you.” Myolie nodded. “Do you still love me? Will you ever forgive me?”
Myolie continued to nod as more tears came out. “I forgave you a long time ago. I’ll always love you Fung.” There was no denying that she’d love him all along.
A wide smile appeared on Raymond’s face. “Thank you Yee, now if I die, I’ll die with no regrets.”
“You won’t die, we still have to get married and start our family. Isn’t that what you always wanted?”
“Of course…I love you Yee…” Raymond’s arm fell limp at his side.
“Fung!” Myolie screamed.
