Now Beuri isn't a morning person, so the fact that it was 6 in the morning was enough to make her forget that today was the day she would be re-united with Tae Yang.
An hour or so later, Beuri was awakened by two screams in the foyer. She tyed her hair into a messy bun and ran to the stairs. There she saw her mother embracing another lady. Who was that?
Just then, the lady looked towards the staircase and saw Beuri standing there. Beuri noticed her round face, curly black hair and soft features.
"Beuri! My, you've grown!" the lady motioned for her "Come and greet your Aunt Joon!"
Aunt Joon! Tae Yang's mom! Beuri rushed into her waiting arms. Aunt Joon still gave tight hugs, and smelled like ginger cookies, just like she remembered.
Aunt Joon pulled back and looked at Beuri. "Aahh Beuri! You're the prettiest thing!" she said as she pinched Beuri's cheeks hard.
"Thanks, auntie." Beuri said as she rubbed her cheek. It was sore from Aunt Joon's pinch fest. Then she heard a deep voice.
"Mom, that's the last of them." Beuri looked up and saw a boy around her age standing in her front doorway setting down bags. He was wearing a light blue t-shirt, light denim jeans, white and blue Nike SB's and a white, crisp, no-bend hat. His arms looked really muscular.
As he looked up, she saw a nice looking jawline, soft lips and intense black eyes. It all changed when their eyes met and he smiled, revealing straight teeth.
He looked at Beuri and spoke "Hey! that's no way to greet your best friend!"
