The Question That Changed Everything.

*THIS IS THE LAST CHAPTERR!!! ENJOY! ps, its really long HAHA*

5 YEARS LATER:

"WAKE UP! Come on, Beuri! WAKE UP!" Mi Jin shook her daughter awake. "Aish! Is this what I get for letting you live with me until you graduate university?"

Beuri stuffed her head in her pillow, then turned around, rubbed her eyes and looked at her mother, standing on top of her. "I told you that the condo that we found is available next month! We already paid for it, so stop complaining, geez uhmma! And we graduate in two weeks! Me and oppa will be out of your lives in one more month!" Beuri said, grumpy that her mom woke her up.

All of a sudden Mi Jin's face changed. "Oh my gawd. My daughter is moving. My only daughter. And she's graduating university. Oh my baby~ I remember when you were just a chubby little baby, always running around, breaking things, and now you're all grown up!"

Beuri smiled at her mom and gave her a good morning hug. It had been exactly five years today that Beuri and Tae Yang had gotten into the accident. They were 24 now, and had been dating ever since. Alot had changed in five years. Jiyong and Ahn got married when they were 22, and already had a little boy named Jokwon. No one really saw much of them, because they moved to Canada, but they had visited once. Hyori had moved to the United States to persue a career in singing, and Dae Sung and Seung Ri attended the same university as Beuri and Tae Yang, so they saw each other practically everyday. Beuri was sad that her closest girlfriends moved away, but was glad she still had Tae Yang, and the two maknaes.

"Hey, where is oppa anyways?" Beuri asked as she got up and fixed her bed.

"He's eating breakfast already! Don't forget about what's happening tonight!" Mi Jin told Beuri as she opened the curtains in Beuri's room.

"I know!" Beuri replied, "But that's tonight! We still have the whole day! Do you want to come shopping with us?" Beuri asked.

Mi Jin shook her head. "No, just hurry. Today has to run smoothly, you know!" she said as she left the room.

Tae Yang had reserved Blue, just like 5 years ago, so they, along with their moms, were going their for a nice dinner tonight. Beuri and Tae Yang had no classes today, so they were planning on spending the day together by going shopping at the boutiques.

Beuri headed downstairs and greeted everyone. Tae Yang was sitting on the kitchen table, reading the newspaper and peeling an orange. In his lap, there sat a black and white boxer terrier named Boss. Beuri had gotten him for Tae Yang on his birthday.

"BARK BARK!" Boss barked as he jumped off Tae Yang's lap and ran to greet Beuri as she got closer to him.

"Awe, hewwo my wittle baby! Have you been a good wittle doggy? Of course you have, of course you have!" Beuri said in a baby voice, a voice she only used when she was talking to Boss. She gave his head a kiss and began to rub his belly, his favorite spot. "Good boy! I love my wittle Bossy-kins! Yes I do!" she cooed.

"Well your 'wittle Bossy-kins' had a 'wittle' accident on Grandma Mi Jin's rug again!" Aunt Joon told Beuri.

Beuri gasped. "Boss! Bad boy! How many times do we have to train you to pee OUTSIDE?!" she scolded to him, as she pointed to the door, to show him where to go next time. He gave her his little puppy face. "Awe, fine. How could I be mad at you?" She melted and gave in. Boss looked at her for a few moments, then ran away, in search of food.

"Tsk, tsk. Always looking for food. Must take after his owner!" Beuri laughed as she got off the ground to greet Tae Yang.

"Hey! He's a growing puppy! He needs food!" Tae Yang objected, throwing a piece of orange peel at Beuri.

She laughed and picked it up. "I know, I know. I'm just kidding around!" She gave him a hug.

"Hurry up Baby Ri! If we ever want to leave, you need to eat and be ready to leave by at least 1!" He told her.

"OKAY! Gosh, why is everyone rushing me today?!" Beuri sais as she poured some cereal in a bowl and took a seat at the table beside him.

"Because it takes you an eternity to get ready!" He told her as he poked her in the side. Beuri jumped and smacked his arm.

"Shut up! I don't take that long!" she wailed. Tae Yang gave her a look and she re-worded her sentence. "Fine! Maybe I do. But it's okay, because you love me with all my faults." Tae Yang just smiled and shook his head.

After breakfast, Beuri headed up to her room to change. She put on black skinnies and a green off-shoulder YSL t shirt. Tae Yang wore jeans, a red Ed Hardy shirt and a white hat.

"Are you ready?!" he called from downstairs.

Beuri was still in her room, putting the finishing touches on her outfit. "HOLD ON! I'M ALMOST READY!" she yelled back as she quickly put on her contacts and her green Louis Vuitton shades. Then she took her black low top converse out of her closet and ran down the stairs, where Tae Yang was waiting for her. "Bye uhmma! Bye Aunt Joon! Bye Boss!" Beuri called out as they stepped out of the door, not expecting an answer.

=====================================

They spent the whole day at the boutiques, looking more than buying since everything was so expensive. At the Chanel outlet, Beuri bought a cute thin, silver headband, with the interlocking C's on the left side of her head. She also bought them bubble tea. After that, they stepped into a store that sold hats. It was Tae Yang's favorite store.

"This one is so cool! And it's limited edition too!" Tae Yang said as he picked up a black Yankees hat with a gold emblem. He glanced at the tag. "$95? That's a rip off!" He put the hat back down, and they began to browse the store some more. No matter where in the store they went, he would always look back to see if anyone had bought the hat.

"Hey oppa, I think we should look at the very back of the store! You might find something nicer than that hat." Beuri reassured him. He nodded and reached for her hand, but she pulled away. "I'm going to look for a hat for ... JIYONG! Yeah, Jiyong! I was planning on sending him something anyways."

Tae Yang gave her a weird look. "Since when does Jiyong wear hats? And since when do you send him something without buying something for Ahn and Jokwon?"

"Just go! I'll meet you after okay?" Beuri told him, as she gently pushed him near the back of the store. He shrugged, and obeyed her.

As soon as he left, Beuri snapped into action. She grabbed the black and gold hat before anyone else could. She checked to make sure that Tae Yang wasn't looking and quickly ran to the cashier. She decided she would give him the hat at dinner time. When Beuri was done paying, she decided to look for Tae Yang.

"Oppa! Are you done looking now?" she asked him.

He took one more final look at the racks and then nodded. "Did you get Jiyong his hat?" he asked her.

She nodded "Oh, but the person in front of me bought the hat that you wanted." Beuri added so it wouldn't be to obvious or suspicious.

"That's okay," he said as he put his arm around her shoulder. "We should get going anyways. It's five o'clock already!"

=================================

When they got home it was already five twenty and the reservations were at six. Luckily their moms were already dressed and ready to go. Tae Yang changed into dark jeans, and a fancy G-Star dress shirt. He also wore his Lacoste tennis shoes, aviator shades and dog tag. Beuri changed into a new Marc Jacobs cocktail dress, her new Chanel headband and her dogtag. She also brought along a red scarf just in case it got cold. She wore pointy toed flats for shoes. Beuri's mom wore a black pencil skirt, with a ruffly tucked in top and huge diamond studs. She also had on red lipstick, for a dramatic effect. Tae Yang's mom wore gray dress pants and a baby blue sweater with patent leather pumps. For women their age, they looked ten years younger. They never dressed up, which Beuri thought was strange, because they were only going for dinner.

"Well don't we all look lovely?" Beuri complimented them.

Aunt Joon blushed. "It's a special day, so we wanted to look good!" This also confused Beuri, because again, they were only going to dinner, but she put the thought away, because she remembered about Tae Yang's hat.

"You guys, wait for me in the car, I have to get something!" As everyone left the house, she ran up the stairs and grabbed the bag with the hat in it. She gave Boss a kiss before she finally headed out.

"What are you doing with Jiyong's hat?" Tae Yang asked her when she got in the car.

"I'm going to send it after dinner, if that's all right with you." Beuri smiled at him and squished his face between her hands. He looked like such a little kid when she did that, which Beuri thought was simply adorable. She laughed adnd kissed his cheek, and with that, they were off.

====================================

"Aahh~ dinner was delicious! Thank you Tae Yang!" Mi Jin said.

"You're welcome auntie!" he smiled at her, as he wiped some sauce off his mouth.

They had just finished the main course and had moved on to dessert. Beuri was happily eating her cake when she looked up and noticed that everyone looked really anxious. She thought it would be a good time to give Tae Yang his hat.

"Oppa, I lied when I said I was going to give this hat to Jiyong. I bought it for you today, while you weren't looking." she told him as she handed him the bag.

As soon as he took the hat out of the bag and looked at it, his face lit up. "OH MY GAWD. You did NOT buy me a limited edition $95 dollar hat! I can't accept this!"

Beuri shrugged, "Well, I COULD always just give it to Jiyong if you don't want it ..." she said as she slowly reached for the hat.

Tae Yang hugged it to his chest. "It's alright. Thanks Baby Ri!" He reached over and gave her a hug.

That's when it started to get quiet. Tae Yang cleared his throat and looked at Beuri. "Baby Ri, how long have we known each other?" he asked her.

She laughed. "Oh you should know how long! Why are you asking me, silly? We've known each other for our whole lives!" she answered him.

"And how long have we been together for?" he asked her again, holding her hand.

"Five years exactly." she smiled at him.

"Well do you know how long we will be together for? Here's a hint, it also starts with an F" he told her as he looked at her, and then at their moms who were watching them.

Beuri thought of the largest number she could think of that started with an F. "Fifty billion gajillion trillion years?" she laughed.

"Nope," Tae Yang shook his head "It's even bigger than that."

"Fifty billion gajillion trillion years ... plus one?!" she guessed again.

He shook his head again. "Even longer."

Beuri frowned. She hated guessing games. "Waii~ oppa, just tell me! Don't be so hateful!"

He paused for a second, smiled at her and got off his chair and onto the ground. Beuri rolled her eyes "Oppa, tie your shoe later! Tell me the answer!" she remembered how he tricked her before, and she wasn't about to fall for it this time.

"I'm not tying my shoe!" he told her from the ground.

Beuri looked down and sure enough, there he was, gazing up at her. She didn't know what to think. "Wha-whatt are you doing oppa?!" she stuttered.

'Is he...? No! He couldn't be..." Beuri's thoughts at that moment were endless.

"Well, I'll give you an answer to your question, if you answer my question first, okay?" Tae Yang told her. She nodded slowly, and looked into his eyes.

Tae Yang cleared his throat, and slowly took something out of his jeans pocket. It was a small, square case.

"OH MY GAWD! SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP! STOP THAT RIGHT NOW OPPA!" Beuri squealed as she began to hit him on his shoulders. "STOP! STOP! STOP! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" she kept spazzing. He gave her a stone face, and she began to stop, and calm down.

He opened the case, and this time it was Beuri's eyes that widened. Inside was a diamond ring.

"Beuri Kim, you're my best friend. And I don't want anyone else but you. Will you marry me?" he asked (A/N: cheesy, i know. but ive never proposed to someone before ...)

Beuri suddenly became overcome with happiness and her eyes teared up. "YESYESYESYES! YES! OF COURSE I WILL!" she exclaimed as he put the ring on her finger. Beuri attacked him with a huge bear hug, and he hugged her back. Then Mi Jin and Joon joined in to.

After a while, everyone sat back down. Beuri couldn't stop looking at the ring, and she didn't seem to be able to let go of Tae Yang's hand either. She was so happy, nothing could bring her down and when she looked at Tae Yang's face, he look genuinely happy as well.

"Hey oppa," she said as she squeezed his hand, "You still haven't answered MY question yet. How long are we going to be together for?" she asked him.

Tae Yang just smiled at her. Then he kissed her on the lips and leaned in to her ear. "Forever." he whispered.
