*At Ron’s mansion*
Ron: “ok mom I’m ready to go. Are you done? Do u need some help?”
Linda: “I’m fine honey. Just give your mother one sec…alright?”
Ron: “ok mom... I’ll be waiting in the car with ray!”
Linda: “ok meet you there.”
*Inside the car*
Ray: “Ron are you all set?”
Ron: “yea I am.”
Ray: “so are u scare?”
Ron: “yea I am but I have to do it... for myself…for my mom…for the company and especially for Leila… ray can you do me a favor?”
Ray: “what is it?”
Ron: “can u promise to take care of Leila while I’m gone? And if I don’t ever come back can u please look after her as if she was your little sister?”
Ray: “oh can you please just shut up? You are gonna be okay!”
Ron: “I’m serious ray... can you please just promise me?”
Ray: “okay Ron, I’m sorrie… I promise you... but you also have to promise me something…”
Ron: “what? anything if you take care of Leila.”
Ray: “you gotta promise me that you will be strong and win the battle!”
Ron: “I can’t promise you that but I will try my best.”
Linda: “what were you boys talking about?”
Ron: “nothing mom... lets go ray.”
Ray: “ok.”
*Leila’s bedroom*
Leila sits on her bed and cries. She has been crying for about three days.
*FLASHBACK*
Ron and Leila were at the beach… Ron leaned in and kissed her. That was their first kiss together.
Leila: “Ron are you playing with me?”
Ron: “no Leila I would never do that to you... cause I really love you. I think I finally found my soul mate for life. I will never let anything or anyone hurt you including myself.”
Leila: “thanks Ron, I think I’m in love with you too.”
Ron: “That’s all you have to say and I’m yours forever.”
They sat there for the rest of the night, just looking at the stars and watching the sunrise.
*END OF FLASHBACK*
Leila sniff again and this time her best friend Nancy came in. Nancy was holding a big bucket of ice cream and a big spoon. Leila took it and she dug it. She didn’t care about her looks anymore even though she was a model.
*Airport*
Ron and Linda were going to board their private plane.
Ray: “ok take care you guys... and Ron don’t worry I will keep my promise and look after the company while you’re gone. I’ll be waiting for your return.”
Linda: “take care ray…”
Ron: “yea ray take care... and thanks...”
Ray: “I will and it’s no problem Ron… I will do my best ok. Oh yea I want a call from you guys everyday ok...”
Linda: “we will do that…”
The three bid their good-byes and Ron and Linda stepped into the plane.
While looking out of the window, a tear suddenly slipped out of the corner of Ron’s eyes.
