Seung gi showed me to his car. He wants to drive me to the hotel to pick up my things, and book our tickets to Jeju to visit his mother.
“You changed a new car!” I felt relieved to see that he has downgraded to a BMW X5 SUV
“I don’t have a chauffer with me now, it will be very weird driving that sedan by myself” he said as he opened the door of the passenger seat for me.
“I like this one better” I said and got in.
I never liked his bulky black Rolls Royce phantom (this is the car featured in Chae Yeon’s My Love MV), this SUV is so much more suitable for a young man like him.
“I will buy you one if you like it. You mentioned in your letter that you have learnt to drive?” The prince said.
“Yes I got my license!” I thought of the days where Andy taught me how to drive. I remembered how I crashed his 1990 ford and how upset he was until Jessica Onni and Minwoo Oppa bought him a new car.
That ungrateful boy. I am still very mad at him for telling Seung gi that I’m dead.
“I don’t want to drive. I’m afraid” I gave the Prince a smile.
“I can teach you, driving in Seoul and NYC is about the same” he said and carefully drove out of the garage.
“I don’t want to. I want you to drive me around” I buckled up and sat comfortably beside him.

After checking myself out of the hotel, we went for coffee and bought our next day ticket to Jeju Island
“I have a surprise for you in Jeju” Seung gi said as he placed my luggage neatly in the room beside his.
“Sueng gi, shall we drill a hole through this wall. We can put a connecting door through our rooms” I asked him excitedly.
I always felt the connecting door thing was very romantic.
“No” He replied
“Fine!” I snapped, snatching away my bag from him.
Just as I wanted to be romantic, he spoils everything. Since when did my prince turn to be such a dumb block.
“I want you to sleep in the same room as me” he suddenly carried me up and walked towards his room.
I secretly smiled while holding on to him tightly.
In his room, I noticed that the cushions I bought for the penthouse, our pictures that we took together, were all prominently displayed.
“You know you make me crazy, I don’t understand why and how I can love you this much” he said softly into my ears before placing me down on the arm chair
“You can continue loving me. I will continue loving you too” I hugged on to him, refusing to leave his arms.
That evening, Seung gi brought me to the restaurant he opened. It was a neat little place specializing in fusion cuisine. It was a cross between Korean and Italian.
I sat on the counter looking at him instructing the chefs and the servers, how cool he looked ordering people around. Other than that morning at the abandoned factory, this is the first time I’m seeing him at work.
That time seemed like centuries ago.
“Are you bored?” Seung gi came up to me
“No, go back to your work. I don’t want to distract you”
“Are you hungry? The chefs can make something for you” He carried me down from the counter
“Seung gi there are people around!” I blushed as he stood close to me against the counter and kissed me
“Its okay, you are mine, why ate you so shy?” He said and planted another kiss on me
“Go.. I want to sit outside” I pushed him away and walked out of the kitchen.

Dinner time started and the customers kept flowing in. Seung gi was kept very busy running in and out of the kitchen. He brought me lots of food to eat but I didn’t manage to eat much. I had not adjusted back to Korea sleeping time and ended up falling asleep in the corner booth of the restaurant.

I woke up feeling uncomfortable when I realized that Seung gi was carrying me out of the restaurant
“Sorry, did I wake you up?” he said softly
I looked up into his face feeling a heart full of happiness and bliss in me.
“Seung gi put me down, I can walk myself. You must be tired. What time is it?”
“Almost 2” He smiled and carried me up tighter to let me rest my head on his chest.
Looks like he wants to just continue carrying me like that
It was a very short distance from the restaurant to home, and within a few minutes, we arrived home.
I hopped off the car energetically and followed Seung Gi into the house. Just as I was occupying myself by walking in his shadow, he turned around and pulled me to walk beside him.
“I don’t need you to be like a traditional woman walking behind a man. I know you are different” He said
Just how perfect can my prince be?
I gave him a kiss and hugged onto his arms to walk with him

After washing up, I heard a knock on the bedroom door.
“The door is not locked” I shouted from the bathroom”
I didn’t remember closing the door to the bedroom
“I Came over to say goodnight” Seung gi shouted
I walked out of the bathroom and saw Seung gi standing at the entrance to the room.
“Good night” I said to him casually.
He nodded his head and went back to his room.
I tossed and turned on the bed but could not sleep. It was almost 3am now.
I stood up and walked over to Seung gi’s room. His door was slightly opened.
“Seung gi” I called softly
“Yes Darling” I could see a faint figure moved
“Can I sleep with you?” I asked while walking towards the bed
“Come here” Seung gi pulled me onto the bed and covered the beddings over me
“Couldn’t get to sleep?” he asked
“Jet lag” I turned to face him
“Why aren’t you asleep?” I stretched my hand out to hold him
“I was worried that you’ll disappear when I wake up tomorrow.” He held my hand and kissed it, without letting go.
“I’ll be here beside you, go to sleep, you had a long day” I pasted myself into his arms and laid there comfortably.
“Okay My love” Seung gi kissed me and didn’t say anything else.
I took a deep breath and all I could smell was his manly scent. That familiar smell that I remember so strongly the day he took me home from the prison.
Lee Seung gi, I thought about it. I don’t want to wait till next life with the hope that I become a princess. This life, you will be my man and I will be your woman.
We won’t know what will happen in the future, if being together now makes so much sense and makes us all happy, I am willing to love you openly and we will stand up to any objections together, because Seung gi, we love each other and that is all that matters.
