Suzz clutched her sides, a wince escaped from her lips. She pulled the nearest chair to her and sat heavily on it. Vague images of her classmates asking her whether she was okay fleeted through her mind. Black spots suddenly swam in front of her eyes, and she felt light-headed. Closing her eyes, Suzz felt her chest ached painfully. A dull buzzing in her head, which seemed more like a warning, blocked out all sounds. All she heard was distant whisperings that seemed so far away, and her own heartbeat. Heartbeat… she realized in relief that she was still breathing… her lungs were still pumping air. At the mere thought of air, Suzz suddenly found herself gasping, like a fish out of water. Air, she muttered, as if to herself. A sharp pang of pain overcame her body, spreading like electricity through her nerves. She felt paralyzed; her limbs were numb. Suzz tried to move her fingers, panicking slightly at the fact that she had no power over her own fingers.
Her head pounded heavily as an excruciating headache weakened all senses. Suzz could feel the blood rushing through her veins, supplying her brains with the oxygen it needed urgently. In the midst of confusion and unbearable pain, she felt someone shaking her. It sounded like the teacher. She couldn’t care less. Barely able to open her eyes, she fought to retain consciousness. Slowly, she became to drift away, away into the blackness that had almost seemed comforting.
The last thing she felt was the rough surface of the table brushing against her cold face as she fell forward, into the darkness that began to swirl around her.

Yep, yep. Rarely will you see the Long-Winded One with such a short chapter. ^_^ Amazing, huh? But oh well, just proved that I can write short chapters as well as long ones. ^_^ Don't want to dedicate the chapter to anyone because, well, it's too short for my liking. ^_^ The next chapter, maybe. Well.. gotta ciao!!! Bye!!!
