Chapter 1

My name is Ahn SoHee and I am 16.
Ever since I was a small little girl, I've had a heart disease.
I've been taking medicine and been told that my heart disease can be tough to battle.
My family moved to Seoul since I was 7.
The reason we moved was so that I can be near a specialist.

One bright sunny day, I was playing with my ball in the front yard of my new house
I was thinking about my new school.
Questions ran through my head.
I accidentally threw the ball next door.
I stood on my toes to see where the ball was.
A boy about my age, was playing with his puppy until, our eyes met.
He grabbed my ball and walked over to the fence.
"Ahh, is this yours?" he asked.
"Y-y-yes."
"You must be the new owner of the house. I'm JiYong and you are?"
"I'm SoHee."
He then pinched my cheeks.
"May I call you Mandoo?"
I slightly blushed.
"Yes .... JiYong oppa."

Ever since that day, we became best friends.
We went to the same school (suprisingly)!

JiYong always teases me .. I don't know why.
He sometimes annoys me which I can get really frustrated.

Finally, it was the end of grade 7.
My biggest crush, TaeYang was about to ask me out.
"Umm .. SoHee, do you want to - "
"SoHee, when will you ever sleep without a night light?" JiYong rudely blurted
out.
"TaeYang!" I called out.
TaeYang then walked away and didn't turn back.
Great, wasn't it?
"JiYong, why did you do that for?"
"It's because .. I ... lo .. lo .. "
"JIYONG, I HATE YOU. PLEASE, GO AWAY!"

That very same night, my heart started to ache, badly.
I was rushed to the hospital.
I felt like giving up as my eyelids were getting so heavy.

Everything went black ..
I opened my eyes and saw my family, in tears.
"SoHee, you're awake!" my mother said.
"Who gave me their heart?"
She then looked sad ..
Then instantly, it hit me ..
JIYONG!
"WHERE'S JIYONG?!" I cried.

The last words that I said to him were ..
"JIYONG, I HATE YOU. PLEASE, GO AWAY!"
If I could only change those words that I said to him :'(
