“And you did it without consulting me? How ridiculous” Minho shook his head and went out of their house. He was disappointed of his own parents that day. They were really unreasonable so Minho has the right to walk out from them.

“Seriously?!” WonYeon was talking on the phone with her parents
“This Saturday already? Don’t you think it’s a little too early?” WonYeon couldn’t agree with her parents
“No, we don’t think it’s too early so stop complaining. We got to go. Don’t forget on Saturday. We’ll be calling you again. Bye”
As soon as the call ended, she called all her friends and invited them to their house.
“What’s your problem?” they all asked her
“How am I supposed to say this? You know those fix marriage thingy whatever. My parents set me up with something like that but I’m not exactly sure if it’s the same with that kind of set up” it was a weird explanation
“Huh?”
“What?”
“What did you just say?”
“I don’t know what I just said” WonYeon sighed
“I do understand on the way you look that you don’t want to do that marriage thingy?” HyoMi said
“Do you really have to do it?” that was the only question that entered JiIn’s mind
“We mean, you can just ditch them, right?” Yunni asked oddly
“No, ditching them would be really bad-mannered especially when those people are nice” WonYeon made sense
“I thought being in love with Jonghyun would be the worst but this is even worse than that~” WonYeon added
“I’m not sure but I think I misunderstood what you just stated” JiIn was uncertain
“I thought the same, can you explain that again?” Yunni was even confused
“Did you just say that you still like… Jonghyun~” HyoMi saw Jonghyun leaning beside the door.
“Yeonie’s in love with who?” he didn’t exactly hear anything, he was just curious
“Its girls’ talk so leave” WonYeon pushed him out and locked the door
“Yah, Yeonie!”
“Why must you asked that?” she whispered in an angry way
“Can’t you just answer our question?” HyoMi continued
“Oh~” WonYeon covered her face
“Aish, jinjja, you must had lied to us when you said that you already gave up on him” JiIn glanced at Yunni and HyoMi completely smiling before glancing at WonYeon with a dull reaction
“I don’t know if we can trust you again” Yunni wasn’t mad, she was just trying to scare WonYeon
“Mianhae~” she apologized which of course made the three girls laugh
“Why are you laughing?”
“Yah, you don’t have to be sorry. We understand” they all said but continued on laughing
“You’re WonYeon. We’re Hyomi, Yunni and JiIn” HyoMi added
“Why must you play a prank like that?” WonYeon laughed along with them
“So what was your problem again?” Yunni joked

“Mrs. Kim, I’ll go now. I’ll be back before you know it” WonYeon was putting on her sandals
“Wait, do I look okay?” She stopped right in front of the door and just in time for Jonghyun to show up from upstairs. She was wearing a casual cute beige dress proper enough for her meeting with the choi family.
“It’s okay” a dry answer from Jonghyun
“What he meant was you look wonderful” Mrs. Kim praised her
“Thanks, see you later” she bowed and left
“Eomma, where is she going?” Jonghyun asked as soon as the door closed
“She’s going to have a marriage interview with her parents’ friend. I’d guess that the guy is cute coz if he isn’t her mom wouldn’t want this thing to happen” Mrs. Kim explained
“Isn’t it too early for that thing yet?” Jonghyun was getting worried
“Well… wait, why are you caring too much? I’m not gonna marry you off with someone… or… you just like WonYeon?” she raised her left eyebrow staring at Jonghyun completely blunt
“I don’t know what you’re saying. Eomma, I have to go somewhere” he grabbed his cap and went outside.
“I haven’t confess to her yet and now she’s going at those marriage whatever? Unbelievable” Jonghyun was no scardy- cat on telling how he feels. He’s just trying to think things through and was waiting for the right time on when he should do it. He never did think this was the right time but what can he do if he’s already in it so he should just do it.
He saw WonYeon waiting for a cab so before she even called one, Jonghyun rushed to her.
“Yeonie!” he shouted
“Jonghyun, why?”
“Ugh, I came to tell you something” he was still gasping for air
“Tell me. I have to hurry” WonYeon was looking at her watch
It was this common scene in movies or dramas. When the guy is trying to confess or whatever while the girl is super dumb- founded or simply being quiet waiting on what the guy will say. Then there comes this unwanted part of the guy when everything is turning just fine. The part that stops everything that is perfectly planned. But nothing stopped Jonghyun. He tried to be brave as he can the words are finally ready to come out.
“Yeonie, before you leave for that marriage interview thingy…”
“You’re not supposed to know that” she looked away from Jonghyun
“So, I don’t care if I’m not supposed to know that but this is way more important than that” Jonghyun paused
“Ugh… I like you?” it was a question in a way. I mean, who would believe that Jonghyun would say such a thing to WonYeon especially because he thought of WonYeon as a friend- enemy and just a toy when he’s in a bad mood.
“Huh?” she asked oddly
“I like you” this time he was super sure
“Pardon?” obviously, WonYeon wants to here it over and over again
“I LIKE YOU” he exclaimed
“Say what?” she was quite happy hearing it
“Yah, Young WonYeon!” Jonghyun was getting annoyed
“So what do you want me to do now?” WonYeon asked weirdly
“I don’t know” Jonghyun buffed his cheeks
“I better run?”
“Wait, do you like me back?” that was too honest question
“Kuersae… Aish, molla!” she rode the taxi and Jonghyun rode it with her.
“Wae?”
“I won’t accept your answer. Just answer me with yes or no” he was being childish
“If I say yes will you get off the cab?”
“Maybe”
“Then yes” she simply said
“Can you get off the cab now?”
“No, I’ll make sure you’ll get there safe and won’t be marrying any guy there” he sat steadily
“Yah, it’s just a marriage interview. I won’t marry anyone”
“Why did you ride a taxi if where you’re going is just few meters away?” Jonghyun’s random question
“Just because”
“I know why. You’re too lazy to walk and you want to spend so much money” Jonghyun trying to irritate WonYeon
“Kim Jonghyun, you still haven’t change even a bit. Why can’t you be nice to me?” WonYeon was annoyed alright
“I didn’t say I’ll be nice even if I have feelings for you. And you didn’t change either. You’re still the hot- headed Yeonie I used to know” Jonghyun shook his head
WonYeon hurriedly got off the cab while Jonghyun continuously followed her
“Yah, go back home. You’re not needed here fool” she said before entering the old fancy restaurant she was where last week.
“But…”
“I’ll back out for you, okay? Now, go back home” she pushed him away but he hurried back and gave WonYeon a peck.
She just entered the restaurant and finds Mr. and Mrs. Choi.

Outside the restaurant…
“Don’t worry EunMi, it’s just an interview. We’re not yet sure about this” Minho tried to soothe her
“I trust you” EunMi smiled
“Let’s meet at the park later and eat ice cream together” it easily made EunMi smile even brighter
“Go, you’re already late” EunMi waited for Minho to go into the restaurant before she leaves.
“What’s taking my son too long?” Mrs. Choi said as WonYeon sat down
“It’s okay. I can wait” WonYeon has to be patient if she wants to back out
“There he is” Mr. Choi pointed out that made WonYeon look. She stands up and her eyes widened when she saw someone she knew
“Minho?”
“WonYeon?”
