"Well... then you shouldn't be pursuing her. Go for other girls who wants you." Sunye's fingers played around as she found herself feeling a bit embarrassed for asking the question. Taeyang laughed playfully as she looked up.
"I'm not sure, to be honest," he said with a sparkling smile that the other girls noticed in the room. "But I have a feeling that this is different. Never being serious with someone in my life is a record, and I think I'm about to break it."
Sunye stared at him and his eyes showed the truth. He wasn't just bluffing about the "serious" stuff. It's true that he had never been in a serious relationship for whatever reason and that this could be what changes him.
"You might get hurt!" Sunye suddenly blurted out and she found Taeyang laughing. "What?"
"Me? Get hurt? Sunye-ah, can't you see that I'm a player? I won't get hurt. Trust me," he said and smiled at her. He couldn't help but pat her head for her useless concern and quickly said goodbye.
"If you're serious, and Yoobin's not looking at you... won't you get hurt?" Sunye muttered to herself as she got up and started to head to the cafeteria.

"What's with the long face?" Yoobin asked when she joined Sunye at a table.
"Nothing..." Sunye said as she played around with her food. She kept rolling the spaghetti but never ate it. That's when she remembered about the Hyori topic.
"Yoobin-ah, I just remembered what I was going to tell you!" Sunye exclaimed. "Did you know Hyori just --"
"I know, Jiyong told me." Yoobin stuffed her sandwich in her mouth and chewed it like a pig.
"He knows, too?" she asked and Yoobin nodded.
"Of course. Who'd expect our choreographer would cheat on her. I mean I know that she might be a bit ... demanding but to cheat on her?" Yoobin said, her mouth still filled with food.
"What are you talking about? Rain cheated on her?" Sunye asked, never hearing about this before.
"Yeah, isn't that what you were going to tell me?" Sunye shook her head, having no idea what this was about.
"If that was the story, then it's not true!"
"What makes you think that?"
"Yoobin-ah... Hyori just played with Rain. She used him to forget TOP but now that she can have him, she dumped Rain!"
"Sunye, don't be absurd. I saw Hyori on Saturday at the park bawling. She didn't look too good."
"No, I'm right! I even saw everything. As I was about to go meet Mr. Junsu, I saw them at the hallway and quickly hid because the aura was too intense, and then BAM! I heard their talk. She didn't even come to the date they had planned! She must've planned it all along. She wanted to get TOP back!"
"Look, it doesn't matter okay? So what if Hyori and TOP gets back together? Why do I have to be involved? It's their lives, they can do whatever they want. I'm going," said Yoobin, annoyed of the topic. Sunye watched her walk away, disappointed that Yoobin wasn't realizing that Hyori must've tricked TOP to get him back. She wasn't going to give up.
'Why would Hyori do this then? Maybe... to get back at TOP? That means TOP might get hurt! And then Yoobin... Aish!' Sunye thought and scratched her head, more confused than ever. Just as she stood up, she saw Hyori and TOP across the cafeteria.
"How did Yoobin last in class?" Sunye asked herself when Jiyong popped out behind her.
"What about Yoobin?" Jiyong said with a smile. His curiosity hits him once again.
"How did she last with TOP and Hyori in the same room as her?"
Jiyong shrugged. "Maybe because I was there talking to her. We were talking about ideal date places."
This reminded Sunye about what Jiyong had told her.
"Jiyong-ah! Why did you tell Yoobin that Rain cheated on Hyori?"
"Why not? It's the truth. Even TOP said so."
"Pabo! Don't you know that I heard Hyori say that she just used Rain. She never liked him but she dated him anyway to forget about TOP, and she didn't even go on their date this Saturday!"
"Saturday... that's when TOP found Hyori... OH!" Jiyong exclaimed, finally realizing everything. "You're saying that Hyori tricked TOP to get him back!"
"Exactly! Thank goodness you're a smart one. No wonder you're the leader," she said, happy that she didn't have to do any more explaining.
"Well, if I do say so myself..." Jiyong said, feeling a bit flattered. "But anyway, we should tell TOP --"
"Wait!" Sunye exclaimed and pulled back Jiyong. "We can't say it just yet. Let Yoobin say this."
"Yoobin? Why her?" Sunye sighed.
"BECAUSE TOP IS HER IDEAL MAN!" She shouted and covered her mouth when she realized that she had shouted it to the world.
"Wow." Jiyong looked around as all eyes were on Sunye. And across the cafeteria, was Hyori's and TOP's eyes. TOP started to walk towards them.
"Let's leave!" Sunye said. "Remember, we can't tell him! It must be Yoobin. We have to put those two to the test. Let's go!"
And with that the two scattered off and ran away from the confused TOP.
"What was that about?" TOP asked. He felt a hand touch his arm and soon wrapped around it. "Hyori-ah..."
"TOP... I missed you." Hyori said and looked up at him. He was quiet and felt a bit awkward. He released her and held her shoulders gently.
"Hyori-ah... I'm confused at the moment. I don't know if I can go back to you." TOP took a step back and Hyori stopped him.
"Why? I got it now, it was an accident, right? The kiss was actually meant for me. I forgive you. That's what you wanted, right?" Hyori said as she grabbed TOP's arm again. He didn't shake it off, but he didn't like it either. He opened his mouth to speak when Hyori continued. "Is it because of her? Is she deceiving you?"
"Her?" TOP asked, as if he didn't know.
"Yoobin! That beetch you kissed. Did she do anything?" Hyori said, grossed out after saying Yoobin's name.
"She didn't do anything. Leave her out of this."
"You're protecting her now? TOP... she's just another girl. It's US who were meant to be." Her words reminded TOP of the song B4B and SUNNY worked so hard for, the "Wrong Kiss."
"Let me think about it for a while..." he said, his head was just as confused as Yoobin was.
"What is there to think about? You have me back!" Hyori tightened her grip and started to hug him. TOP backed away, trying to get his personal space back.
"Hyori-ah, I was waiting for those days that you would understand that it was only an accident, but you kept pushing me away and now that I might just be able to let go of you, you come back? Don't you understand how stressful this is for me? And there is a lot to think about. Maybe I don't need your forgiveness for just one mistake that you had to make a big deal out of."
"TOP, how could you do this? You're leaving me? Again? That was my birthday, a special day. And just two days ago, I see my boyfriend kissing another girl, CHEATING on me the way you did... how is my heart supposed to take all this?" Hyori said dramatically, trying to get some sympathy from TOP. And she knew it would work like charm. TOP, even with his appearance as a cold person, he was kind in the inside, soft-hearted on people whose hearts felt like they were broken.
"I'm sorry..." he said and walked towards her to give her a warm hug.
By the doors, Yoobin stood, watching their mini drama scene. She only caught TOP's apology words so she thought he was taking her back. It felt weird for her that when she saw it, it was like something was squeezing her heart, making it explode at any moment. It was painful. 'But why?' she thought as she put her hand over her chest. She thought she would be able to apologize to Sunye back in the food court for being such a mean person, but all she felt now was pain all over.
"I have nothing... to do... with them," Yoobin tried to remind herself. She turned around and tried to control her overflowing emotions filled with hurt and anxiety. Just as she ran outside the cafeteria, she bumped into the perfect person. Taeyang.
"Yoobin-ah? Great, I found --"
He looked at Yoobin who avoided his eyes. He crouched down to be at eye level and found little sparkles in her eyes. Not the sparkles when she smiles her beautiful smile, but sparkles from the water in them.
"Are you cry--" he was about to ask when Yoobin suddenly hugged him. She buried her soft face to his chest, wetting it with her warm tears. 'Why am I crying?' she asked herself, but she couldn't control it. She hugged him tightly, holding on to the back of his shirt, digging her nails in as the pain kept coming back.
That's when everyone came. Sunye and Jiyong came back to see if TOP and Hyori had left. Seung Ri and Dae Sung just headed to the cafeteria to eat. And TOP and Hyori were around the corner to leave. Everyone was there to witness another mistake. Yoobin didn't care. All she could think and feel was pain. Just like their song. It was just a wrong kiss, and they were never meant to be. It was nothing but a wrong kiss and they have to say goodbye.
She had to look ahead and try to change what she felt. The person who held her so gently in his arms... Taeyang.
What is love? Taeyang and Yoobin asked themselves.
