Wrong Kiss! -COMPLETED-

Chapter 27

{ 25 } confession

Yoobin continued to walk along the halls until the wall turned to a dark room. She hesitated, still thinking if she should go or simply go back. The sound she heard wasn't there anymore after all. She stopped until she noticed a few candles laid out in the dark room, probably to guide her. She took a deep breath. Something about the room wasn't letting her go, and the presence seemed to overwhelm her. Looking down, she smiled as she picked up a red rose, her favorite. She stared ahead and realized that they were everywhere, all laid out neatly to make a path. Slowly, she started to follow the flower path, leading her to an arrangement of rose petals in a shape of a heart. Even though she didn't know what was going on, she felt herself blush. In the middle of the heart was a special looking luxurious chair reserved for her since it had said Yoobin.

She wondered if this was all Taeyang's idea and as she came closer to the chair, she found a small bear and chocolates, her favorite kind, too, placed on it. She took it in her hands and read the small note she found on the small bear.

"You're the only one I need, you're the only one I love. The only one in my heart will always be you," she read aloud and smiled to herself. 'Is this really for me?' she thought as she looked around, confused. She continued to look in the dark room until a light shone upon what looked like the side of the room. Her eyes glittered and her legs were shaking, forcing her to sit down so that she wouldn't lose balance. She made herself comfortable for this unbelievable surprise. The light focused on a silhouette at the middle. The person wasn't wearing a hat, so she wondered if Taeyang had taken it off. But she was wrong. The one facing her wasn't Taeyang, but TOP.

Soon, he stepped out and Yoobin could see his full appearance. He was dressed in a special tux just for this. He smiled at her and she could tell that it had a meaning. Music came on and words suddenly rushed out of TOP's mouth, slowly but surely rapping only for her.

"It all started with a kiss, what we thought was a wrong kiss
There was something inside that I always miss
I didn't realize that it was a perfect mistake
But thanks to the steps that I slowly take
I get closer to you, hug you, kiss you
Be able to say I love you
You're the only one I think about all day
I can't find another that I'll see this way."

He paused as the music continued to play. He was walking slowly towards her with a serious face. Yoobin's heart pounded in her ear, but she could still clearly hear his voice when he carried on with his rap.

"There was something in your smile that trapped me
Maybe because it was you who always find me
I'll take this moment and make sure to use this chance
I'll do anything just for you, sing, rap and dance
Can't you see me now? I'm here for you
And heck, I know you know it too
Sometimes we think it wasn't destiny
Baby if this was true, I'd go crazy."

He took the slight break to give her a small smile and continued. Yoobin stood up unintentionally, listening to every word.

"This is all from the heart
Always beating for you
No one else, nobody but you
I look at the sky and it reminds me
Of those memories we had together
And the promises we'll keep forever
Each day that passes, my love gets bigger
Something about you always make me stronger
I have something to say to you
I miss you, can't stand to ever be without you
Why?..."

He was standing right in front of her, gazing powerfully in her eyes. Yoobin felt numb, forgetting everything, like the only thing that mattered at the moment was TOP. He raised a hand and gently caressed her red cheeks that blushed as they smiled in delight. She felt entrapped by his smile, exactly the way he felt with the winning picture he had taken of her. His arms wrapped her, hugging her softly with a warm feeling shocking her body. It was different from Taeyang's warmth. His warmth was friendly, protective, caring but TOP's was filled with the love that couldn't be expressed in words.

"Because I love you," he whispered in her ear, her body tingling in reaction to his soft voice. He released her and she looked up at him in return, his eyes burning her.

"There will be no farewell..." Yoobin said and TOP nodded, slowly taking her hand. She knew that it had come from the song they made together, but she also knew that the song was the opposite of reality. There will be no farewell. The couple stood in the middle of the heart, staring intensely in each other's eyes that only saw each other. TOP's other hand found its way on Yoobin's waist, her hands in his and one on his shoulder. She leaned her head against his chest and the two slowly danced to the slow music that was on.

"Yoobin-ah," TOP said, which slightly startled her. He continued to speak without moving their position. "Will you forgive me?"

"What for?" she asked, wondering why he needed forgiveness.

"For all the stupid things I've done. From the very start, the bad first impression I gave and the moments after, when I became a jerk to you. Then I ditched you on our first date for a girl who was completely fooling me. And I hurt you, although that was unintentional. And for the feelings that I've felt for a long time, I expressed it a bit late. So Yoobin, will you forgive this idiot and consider me again?" TOP said everything with a deep meaning and sincerity. He really hoped he wasn't too late.

"Pabo... I've forgive you ever since I knew it was you." Yoobin held onto him tighter and he smiled. It was so different from being with Hyoi and a few other girls in his past. This was a whole new feeling that he could only feel when he was with Yoobin. TOP took a step back which confused Yoobin. 'Did I do something wrong?' she thought.

He smiled at her as he held tightly on to her hand. The hand that was on her waist was placed on her cheeks, feeling the smooth skin at the tips of his finger. He leaned towards her which startled her but TOP didn't stop. In a blink of an eye, his lips were placed on hers, every emotions of happiness she never experienced before appearing now. She kissed him back, wrapping her arms around his neck, reaching for the deeper kiss. It wasn't like their first wrong kiss. This was the right kiss. A perfect kiss.

Taeyang watched the scene he wished to be in from afar, in the entrance of the room. From the time he had loved Yoobin, there was already a nail set in his heart and every time he thought that he got closer, he only ended up getting hurt, the nail getting hammered into his heart with every pain. The kiss that he saw pushed the nail all the way through his heart, piercing it. He placed one of his hands onto the left side of his chest as if he wanted to rip his heart out and take away the heart ache he felt. He couldn't help but let the tears come out of his wet eyes helplessly. He turned away from the scene, already seeing enough.

"Yoobin-ah..." he whispered in a hushed, painful voice. He should have known. It wasn't easy to get the heart to fall in love with another or even to forget the person they first loved. He should have known to stay away from loving with his whole heart, leaving every part of his love for only one girl. He should have taken the many warnings he received, saying love was hard, difficult, and painful. He should not have loved. He should've stayed the player he was before.

"Why does it hurt so much?" Taeyang asked himself in a hoarse voice as he walked from side to side, trying to get as far away as he could from where he was now. "TOP...it's unfair. You made her cry, you hurt her and yet she chooses you? No, you never even let me show what I really am, how I could love a person. You never gave me a chance to be with her. How could it start with a wrong kiss and how did I end up like this..."

Taeyang was outside of the building and passed a lot of people that gave him stares and dirty looks, thinking he was drunk. Some asked him he was alright or if anything was wrong but he had ignored them. 'Everything is wrong,' he would answer them silently in his head. He was shivering as if it was the coldest day of his life, his hand shaking as he held the red rose, the thorns cutting him, cutting his heart. He was now close to the restaurant but he wouldn't dare go back inside. At a nearby alley, he was sucked in by the darkness and the cold feeling, like his heart, filled with loneliness and pain. He leaned against the dirty bricks, one hand still over his heart trying to stop the throbbing pain, and one holding tightly on to the rose he had planned on giving her. The heart beat of his broken heart rang so loudly in his ears over and over as if it was the only thing he could hear. Nothing else.

Sunye excused herself from the table as Seung Ri and Dae Sung kept on chattering about how Taeyang's confession was going, predicting that it was a complete success. She didn't want to have to see the scene of Taeyang jumping up and down in joy to hear Yoobin's yes for him. As long as the two people she loved were happy, Sunye was more than satisfied. She had always, ever since she was young, put others before herself, usually hurting herself for others' happiness. She passed by a dark alley and thought she heard a low, deep crying from the darkness. She walked back and looked closer, trying to see the blurry figure clearer. Little by little, she took steps to get closer, hoping that it wasn't a dangerous man that was in the alley.

Then her eyes widened to see something that was in one of her fears. To see Taeyang hurt. She ran up to him, feeling a stab as she watched Taeyang in a painful position, like a rolled up ball.

"Taeyang?" she whispered with a coarse voice. He was leaning against the wall, while burying his face in his hands and knees, his tears wetting his clothes and covering his handsome face. She kneeled beside him and lifted his head. Her heart twitched as she saw Taeyang's red eyes cry endlessly. His eyes stared back at hers, not able to do anything anymore. Sunye didn't know what had happened but that didn't matter right now. She wrapped her arms around him and leaned his head against her chest, hoping to catch his every tear and giving him the warmth he needed.

"Taeyang-ah...Taeyang..." Sunye repeated his name over and overe again as she rocked him back and forth gently, like a small child was in her arms. Soon, she felt the tears streaming down her face as well. Seeing him in pain inflicted her twice as much. "Don't cry..." she cooed, even though she herself was crying. She wiped away his tears, her hands shaking as she did, wanting to see his smile once more. If she had one wish, it would be for Taeyang's pain to disappear, but it was impossible.Taeyang, through his tears, was able to say one word.

"Yoobin-ah..." he said in a quiet hum, recalling the memories he had of her. Taeyang looked like he was in a worse condition that Sunye, but it was Sunye who felt so heartbroken. She was there, hugging the person she loved, the person she would sacrifice so that he could be happy, the person she tried to comfort from the pain. But he was there, leaning against her, calling out another girl's name. His love, her best friend.
