Wrong Kiss! -COMPLETED-

Chapter 29

{ 27 } sunny

`a month later ___

"Are you ready, Sunye?" Yoobin said as she held tightly onto her best friend's hand backstage. Sunye laughed nervously and smiled.

"We've been preparing and training so much for this day. It's just the beginning," Sunye replied and adjusted her clothes and made sure everything was perfect. This performance could make them or break them. It will give their audience the first impression that could leave a good mark or a bad image.

Yoobin nodded and looked at Sunye. "It's amazing how we debuted even before B4B. Sunye-ah, let's give it our best shot, okay?"

Sunye grinned. "Of course! And after this, I'll definitely catch up to Taeyang."

"That's the spirit!" Yoobin said as they were called to the stage. Yoobin and Sunye took a deep breath and just before climbing onto the stage, they looked at each other, smiling and shouting, "HWAITING!"

They walked onto the stage, feeling a bit shaky and nervous but seeing the audience's anxious faces, they felt the excitement. They wanted smiles to appear on their faces and they wanted them to be just as excited as they were. The music came on and the two went on their positions. Before Sunye was about to sing, she looked at Yoobin who was turned around at the first position. She mouthed, "It's time."

Yoobin nodded and Sunye turned around, facing the audience who screamed loudly, filled with expectations. Sunye's loud and mesmerizing voice filled the stage and everyone was in awe as they cheered for them. Yoobin's rap part also captivated them, her booming and clear voice surprising them, the lyrics swaying them.

--- --- ---
"That was fantastic!" Jiyong said with a huge smile as he walked towards the tired SUNNY girls. "I think everyone out there loved you!"

Yoobin and Sunye, a bit surprised that B4B was there, smiled. "Thank you! I've never felt that way before. It's really a different thing when you dream to be on that stage and when you're actually on it," Sunye explained. Yoobin nodded along with her and looked towards the sofas where the other three boys rested comfortably.

TOP grinned at her and walked towards her, giving her red roses, her favorite, and chocolates. "Congratulations in your debut," he said and gave her a peck on the cheeks. Sunye pouted beside them and he grinned. "Congrats to you too," he said and gave her a piece of the chocolate. Sunye rolled her eyes and continued to talk with the rest so that Yoobin could be alone with TOP for a talk. The two sat across the room with a little more space for themselves to talk privately.

"I feel so jealous now," TOP suddenly said. Yoobin giggled beside him, feeling his childish side coming up.

"Yah, you're going to debut pretty soon, you know," she said as she popped in a piece of chocolate in her mouth. TOP shook his head.

"Not about that. I mean, while you were up that stage, I could just imagine the guys' faces while watching you. I feel jealous that they can see you. I wanted you to be only mine," he said shyly and Yoobin couldn't help but smile as she blushed. She wrapped her arms around his and leaned her head against his shoulder.

"You don't need to be jealous. My eyes can only see you, and my heart can only beat for you. My hands only want you, and my lips only want yours," she said. TOP kissed the top of her head and smiled when he knew that Yoobin expected an actual kiss on the lips.

"Good, because of there were any other guys trying to hit on you, I'll make sure to HIT them," he said and Yoobin laughed brightly. "Yoobin-ah, I love you."

Yoobin rolled her eyes. "I know you do."

"Yah, what kind of response is that?" TOP said, wanting a better reply.

"Fine fine, I love you, oppa~" Yoobin said in a sweet voice that she barely uses. TOP blushed and looked away so that Yoobin wouldn't laugh at his embarrassed and red face that wanted to squeal in delight like a fangirl.

A knock came at the door and an excited Seung Ri opened it, shocked to see who it was.

"Taeyang-hyung..." he said, his eyes surprised to see him there. It had been a long time, more than a month, since he's seen him.

"What, aren't you happy to see me?" Taeyang asked and gave Seung Ri's good head a noogie. "Dae Sung, Jiyong, why aren't you here to greet me?"

Dae Sung and Jiyong looked at one another and ran to give him a group hug. They were laughing with each other and talking for a while. Meanwhile, Sunye sat by herself, finding the strength she had before wandering off somewhere else. She couldn't face him just yet, as if the confidence she had vanished. TOP and Yoobin who were being all romantic at the side put a little bit of space between each other, but still sat pretty close as they looked up at Taeyang.

Taeyang saw the two and still felt a little pain seeing them together. A month wasn't enough for him to forget his first love that ended up to a not so happy ending. He looked at Yoobin, who still had the same effect on him, his heart still beat whenever he looked her way and he still felt like she was the most beautiful girl in the world, like she was still the only one he could ever love. Then he looked beside her, at TOP, his best friend. He missed the long-time friendship he had with him and he couldn't just throw it away. He set aside his remaining strong feelings for Yoobin and tried his best to show a recovered smile.

"TOP, why aren't you here to join us?" he asked as he stretched out his arms, welcoming a huge hug from TOP. TOP looked at Taeyang with a surprised face and grinned.

"I thought I was too cool for you, but it seems you've become a whole lot cooler," TOP said, proud and glad to know that him and Taeyang are in good terms. He ran up to Taeyang with a huge smile and bear-hugged him. Both of them tried to hug each other so tight to see who couldn't breathe the most. Amazingly, TOP lost to Taeyang.

"Guess I'm stronger than you, too," Taeyang said, smirking at TOP. Taeyang felt proud of himself that he was able to reconcile with his best friend, even if the fact that he was with the girl he loved remains. Taeyang still valued friendship after all, even through the tough times.

Yoobin just couldn't sit there awkwardly so she decided to join them. She set a certain distance though, just in case it would have made things uncomfortable. Taeyang held back his temptations to hug her then and there and he succeeded but he didn't know how long he could hold it in for. He smiled at her so that she wouldn't think he was still in pain. And Taeyang didn't want to waste the effort he put during the month he was away when he was relieving the pain and stress, and some more time to think. But of course a month wasn't enough to just let it all go and forget. He could still remember the feelings so clearly.

It was Yoobin who spoke first. "It's been so long, Taeyang."

He felt a cold chill, hearing his name being spoken by her soothing voice that he hadn't heard for a long time. He just nodded, still trying his best to put up a non-suspicious smile. Yoobin didn't know what else to say, so she tried to get some easy conversation.

"Did you watch our debut today?"

Taeyang automatically responded, "Of course." Then he felt like adding something so that it wouldn't sound too awkward. "I mean, I have to see what kind of a group SUNNY is from the time I've seen them."

Yoobin smiled, feeling the same friendship atmosphere around them. "I'm really glad you're back." And without any intentional feelings, she smiled the unique smile she flashed only when she was truly, truly happy.

Taeyang couldn't hold it anymore. But he couldn't just let it out. He caught sight of Sunye and without thinking it over properly, he grabbed her hand and walked out of the room, suddenly saying, "I want to talk to her for a while."

Taeyang released her hand when he was sure no one could notice them. "I'm sorry I dragged you out here... I thought that my effort was going to be wasted if I let my feelings out again. I was able to hold them back, you know."

Sunye sat at a nearby bench silently, hoping that she could gather her courage again. She looked at Taeyang who was in much better condition than when she'd seen him last. Taeyang looked over to her and finally realized that he'd put himself in a tense situation. He was there with a girl who's liked him and was there for him when he was in his worst condition.

"Uh..." he started, trying to ease up the mood a little bit. She looked at him and remembered the necklace. She needed the courage, to make her own wish to come true.

"Taeyang," she said, feeling a bit nervous even to just say his name. She hoped he wouldn't notice the shaky voice she had now. "About the last time..."

Taeyang gulped, wondering what she might say. He didn't know why he felt so anxious, waiting for whatever the hesitant Sunye was about to say.

"Ah~ Taeyang-oppa?!" A few girls cried out and ran towards him. "AH! It is you! It's been so long! Where were you?!"

Taeyang smiled shyly at the fangirls, knowing he hasn't done a lot of work during the last month. He looked over to Sunye who was slowly backing away.

"Ah, oppa, can we get a picture with you?!" they asked and squealed when he nodded. He looked over to Sunye AGAIN and noticed that she was walking away with her head down. Then, the light bulb in his head lit up, an idea forming in his mind.

"Yah, did you girls like the new group, SUNNY?" He asked them and they all looked at each other.

"Well... they weren't so bad," one of them said and the others nodded.

"Oh, but they were both REALLY pretty! And the girl singing most of it had a relaxing and easygoing voice," another chirped. Taeyang smiled.

"Well then, how about a group picture?" he said and quickly called after Sunye. "Sorry, it's only one member, but it's okay~"

After taking the pictures, the girls left with happy yet disappointed faces. Neither Taeyang or Sunye heard what they had said.

"We got a picture with Taeyang-oppa... but it really looked like he wanted to get the picture alone with that SUNNY girl," the chubby girl said.

The skinnier one with glasses agreed. "I would call her a biatch, but she really looked nice and humble, and Taeyang-oppa really seemed to be in good terms with her."

"Yah, do you think they like each other?" another one said, intrigued by the chemistry between Taeyang and Sunye.

"Oh no, oppa! But then again... they do look good together," the girls all agreed on that. Over the one month, Sunye seemed to be even prettier than she already was and her beauty was just as overwhelming as Yoobin's. With the determination she had to win Taeyang's love, she was able to grow and develop as a real woman but all of it seemed to shuffle onto one corner, vanishing whenever she's around Taeyang himself. And Taeyang can't deny the fact that there was still the feeling of love for Yoobin.

--- --- ---
"Do you think Taeyang likes Sunye now?" Jiyong asked curiously but received no answer. Yoobin stayed quiet, wondering if she had done something that made Taeyang hurry to leave the room.

"Yoobin-ah, you look worried. Relax a bit, kay?" TOP said, hugging her to give her comfort. Yoobin tried to smile a little but she was afraid that Taeyang still had feelings for her and that she was still hurting him.

"I feel like it's all my fault," she uttered in a quiet voice. "If I... if I..."

"You can't change the feelings you have. It would take some time before you could actually let your heart love him if you did give him a chance, but what could you have done meanwhile? And you know that I just can't stand around watching him whisk you away," TOP said and sighed heavily. "I already know. It's entirely my fault. I'm selfish, greedy and a huge jerk to my own best friend. But no matter who you chose, one side would still get hurt."

Yoobin knew it, too. If she had stayed with Taeyang and gave him the chance and had chosen him over TOP, it would have been TOP filled with hurt, and she'd feel the same guilt she did at the moment. The only difference it made now was that she was happy with TOP.

"Hey, why don't we go on a date sometime?" TOP suggested as he looked around. He meant not just the two of them, but as a group date.

Yoobin's eyes sparkled as she thought of an idea. "That's a great idea! Since Taeyang is back and we all know how Sunye feels, this is a great opportunity for them to bond!"

Yoobin and TOP smiled at their "genius" ideas but saw the rest of them avoid the idea. TOP chose Seung Ri as the main target since he was the easiest to convince.

"Yah, maknae, you're not doing anything this Saturday, are you?" TOP said as he walked closer and closer to him. Seung Ri wanted to back away but he was already near the corner and he knew TOP was too fast for him.

"Uh... I have other plans..." he said nervously but TOP didn't fall for it.

"What other plans?" TOP wrapped his shoulder around Seung Ri's neck and freed his pressuring aura.

"Aish! I got it! I'm not in good terms with my girlfriend anymore. She actually wanted to break up with me because I got a 60% on my test a few weeks ago..."

Dae Sung cracked up. "So that's why you haven't been mentioning your 'precious, she-only-loves-me' girlfriend! She's crazy with education!"

Seung Ri glared at him and smiled evilly. "Then why don't you go with them, hyung? How are you and your noona doing?"

Dae Sung gulped as he looked around, pretending that he was never asked a question. Then everyone stared at him. "Okay, I'm not with noona anymore. It's because she fell in love with this new group called SHINing. I mean, she fell in love with them because they have a song called 'Noona, you're so pretty,' that praises her. She got mad at me because I call her noona and only compliment her skills but never her 'beauty.' She's too picky!"

Seung Ri laughed and so did the rest, all but Jiyong. Then everyone stared at him, expecting him to be able to come. But he was silent.

"What about you?" Yoobin said and stared at his distracted eyes. He gave a long sigh and looked up at them.

"I would go... but my girlfriend is in Canada for a vacation... with her brother and her brother's 'best friend.' And she even said how good-looking he was." Jiyong pouted and the others laughed with his problems too.

"Yah, then that means all of you aren't in good terms with your girlfriend or might not even be together anymore?" TOP snickered at the other unlucky trio who used to always rub it in his face about their girlfriends.

"But what should we do? We can't go with just us four or else it would seem too obvious something is up..." Yoobin said, trying to come up with an idea. None came to her head.

Claps suddenly came out of nowhere and they all looked at the door, where Wonderfuls was standing.

"Congratulations, SUNNY!" They exclaimed with their cheerful voices.

The maknae, So Hee, looked around. "Where's Sunye-unni?"

"Oh, she took a walk around with Taeyang," Yoobin said as they nodded. Then she realized something. She had to take her action into plan, but she had to do it carefully and sneakily.

"I'm really glad your debut went well!" Sun Mi said. Yoobin turned to the guys and looked around. Then back to Sun Mi, she smiled.

"Sun Mi-ssi, are you doing anything this Saturday?" Sun Mi thought about it for a few seconds and shook her head.

"I only have to meet the CEO for a few minutes in the morning but that's pretty much it." Yoobin then asked the question to remaining girls. They all said the same thing. TOP grinned, seeing where it was going. The other three stayed emo at the side, still scarred that their girlfriends couldn't stay with them.

"Well, I was planning to celebrate this debut, but we don't have enough people..." she said and looked over behind, trying to give the lonely threesome a hint but they were oblivious. "...so why don't you join us?"

"Us?" Ye Eun repeated and smiled. "Of course! It'll be so nice to hang around with another girl group. The others are working on their albums right now so we can't play~."

Yoobin smiled a sunny smile and thanked them. "We're planning on..." she looked over to TOP for any ideas but he raised his hand, leaving it all up to her. Yoobin remembered something she had always wanted to go to during a date. "...swimming!"

The girls squealed, saying that it's been so long since they last went swimming.

"Great, then it's decided. At the Seoul Swimming Theme Park around noon this Saturday. See you then!" Yoobin said and waved goodbye to Wonderfuls as they left the room.

"Yah, what is this?!" Seung Ri shouted, shocked by the news. "You guys are going swimming?!"

"It's not only us," Yoobin explained, "all three of you are coming with us."

"What?" Dae Sung still looked confused.

"I just got you three, partners for the group date. The oh so lovely, Wonderfuls."

All three of their jaws dropped in amazement. They never thought that they would be able to hang out with them, but now they were even going on a date with them.

"I CAN`T WAIT TILL SATURDAY!" They all shouted as they excitedly threw their fists in the air.
