"It's their time to shine, maybe give them a few tips about stardom and we can party then call it a night," he said and Taeyang laid on the ground, relaxing as he looked at the night stars. The two best friends were sitting on the grass nearby the park, the stars twinkling in the dark sky.
Taeyang laughed a little. "Swimming as a celebration? And party?"
TOP stayed sitting up, leaning on his straight arms as his long legs stretched out on the grass. "We want it to be unique for SUNNY. And what better way is it than to celebrate it on a sunny day in the nice warm weather and get wet." Then, he nudged him a little. "Think of the other side. Girls in bikinis."
Taeyang rolled his eyes, blocking out whatever images came to him. He knew that TOP was trying to get him to be with another girl so that he won't get hung over Yoobin, although it SEEMED like he was already okay.
"Whatever... but I don't know," he said rolling on the grass, feeling the coolness at the tips. Then, it stayed silent for a while. Both of the two friends thought about the things that had happened, a silence due to deep thinking.
"Do you..." TOP started but stalled for a bit, wondering if it would be a good question and time to ask. But he didn't think he could ask it ever again. "Do you still like Yoobin?"
Taeyang's eyes grew wide as he faced down against the grass and his back turned to him. He didn't know whether to answer his question with full honesty. He cleared his throat before coming into a decision.
"What do you think?" Taeyang asked, planning his answer depending on what TOP's answer.
"I think you still do," he said bluntly, without any spare thoughts. TOP changed the way he sat and crossed his legs. There was another silent and awkward moment.
"You think so?" Taeyang couldn't believe TOP said it so straightforwardly. He thought TOP would have tried to avoid it and say that he doesn't think Taeyang still does and he would have replied that he was right. TOP nodded, taking another drink from the almost empty can.
"And I'm right, aren't I?" TOP said, his voice filled with confidence. "And you still get hurt whenever you see us two together, living our life as if no one got hurt in the end."
Taeyang sighed heavily, not wanting to talk about the topic at the moment. But TOP continued.
"I've been with you for too many years, I know you quite well now," TOP said as he took a glance over at Taeyang, who at the moment looked straight at the sky, his gaze set on the crescent moon. "She's your first love..." Taeyang's heart tightened.
"Why does it matter now?" Taeyang said, not feeling like it was going to end well. He held in the other things he wanted to say because he still wanted the friendship he had with TOP, but he had to let some of it go. "Yeah, Yoobin is my first love, and the first girl to reject me, and the first girl to pick my best friend over me. She's the first girl to every make me fall in love like this and the first girl who made me feel what true love was. The first girl who I actually tried for, and the first girl I cried for. She's the first girl who broke my heart."
TOP sighed. "It's not her fault."
Taeyang clenched his hands, turning it into a fist as if he could suppress the rest of his emotions inside. "I know..." he said slowly.
"Look, don't get too upset with her. Just let it go --"
"Let it go? Let it go, TOP? You know how much it hurts? When the 'small' incident happened with you and Hyori, you were pretty much going nuts, but it was YOU who had kissed her. Imagine that everything was backwards! No, imagine that it was you, who never loved anyone, and the first girl you loved, ends up with the best friend you trusted for most of your life. You can't imagine it! No one can, no one can feel my pain and --"
"I know someone who can," TOP said simply and looked at Taeyang. "I know someone who probably suffered more than you."
"What?!" Taeyang asked, shocked. He couldn't imagine anyone else who felt more pain than he did. "Stop talking nonsense."
Taeyang got up and was about to leave, not wanting to hear anything else from TOP.
"Taeyang-ah," TOP called out without moving his position. "You should have a good idea who the person is. She's been looking only at you."
Taeyang heard it clearly as he continued to walk towards his car. He got on it and quickly drove away, punching the steering wheel at least once when he felt the anger and pain rise again.

"So, all of B4B is here and all we're waiting for is... Wonderfuls," Yoobin said and then glanced at Sunye. She looked very nervous and expectant, as if this event was something extremely important.
"TOP, did you convince Taeyang to come?" Yoobin whispered to her tall boyfriend.
"He'll come."
"Are you sure?" she asked again, still worried that everyone would be with someone, all except Sunye. TOP smiled at her as he took of his sunglasses. He wrapped his arm around her neck and kissed the top of her glossy hair.
"Trust me," he said and winked at her after releasing her.
The Wonderfuls came just in time and had their summer outfits on, shocking the B4B boys once again, except for TOP of course.
"My oh my, you girls look wonderful," Jiyong complimented as he secretly checked them out under his sunglasses.
"So, are we going yet?" Sun Mi asked and Seung Ri quickly rushed to her side.
"Well, we could go ahead of them if you want," he said and gave a signal to the rest of them. Dae Sung rolled his eyes while Yoobin and Sunye laughed.
Yoobin smiled at them and nodded. "You guys go ahead, I still need to do something."
"Yoobin-ah," Sunye said suddenly, making Yoobin jump a bit. "I'll wait here, you can go ahead."
"Are you sure?" Sunye nodded, her smile brighter than the sun.
TOP grabbed Yoobin's hand and started to pull her away.
--- --- ---
An hour passed when Sunye looked at her watch again. She gave out a long and heavy sigh. She knew she couldn't wait any longer. The celebration was for SUNNY and it wouldn't be much of a celebration without the other member. She stood up from the bench and headed towards the station.
After getting dressed into her swimsuit, she walked to the pool and found everyone already having fun.
"Sunye-ah!" Yoobin waved to her as she started running towards her and suddenly slipped. Sunye started to laugh and smiled as she watched TOP run towards her and carefully help her up. Yoobin and TOP carefully walked towards her.
"Where's Taeyang?" Yoobin asked. Sunye stayed quiet as she avoided her eyes. She looked up and smiled at her.
"I guess he's not coming," she said, trying to force a strong voice. "It doesn't matter now! Let's all just have fun and celebrate our debut!"
Yoobin gave a worried look to Sunye but she ignored it by running to the pool. She then looked at TOP who shrugged.
"Let's not make her efforts go to waste," he said as he wrapped his arms around Yoobin. She smiled and both of them walked to the pool.
Everyone seemed to be having fun, but Yoobin couldn't help but notice Sunye's forced smiles and a few glances towards the entrance where she expected Taeyang to come.
"Let's bungee jump over there!" Seung Ri excitedly shouted as he pointed at the bungee jump section at the other side of the swimming centre. Only Seung Ri and Jiyong seemed to be excited to go, but the others gulped as they looked at the 50 m height.
"I don't know..." Dae Sung said slowly. Seung Ri glanced at him and shook his head.
"Hyung, for a guy who has abs like you, you're a little scaredy cat, aren't you?" he teased. Ye Eun quickly glanced at Dae Sung and he felt like he needed to do it. Dae Sung shook his head and stomped towards the bungee jump area.
"LET'S GO!" Dae Sung shouted, hoping that this would show a braver side of him. Seung Ri and Jiyong high fived each other and followed him.
"Should we go, too?" Yoobin said slowly and turned to TOP, finding him shaking a bit. She giggled. "Yah, don't tell me your scared."
TOP looked at her as if she was crazy. "Me, scared? PSH! You didn't see the manliest side of your boyfriend just yet. You are coming with me."
TOP grabbed her hand and started to drag her along with him. The Wonderfuls didn't want to be left behind so they decided to follow them. So Hee stopped on her tracks and turned around.
"Sunye-unni, aren't you coming?" she asked but Sunye shook her head.
"It's okay, you guys go ahead." Sunye turned around, knowing that heights were never her thing. Another part was, everyone would have had a partner to go with except her. Sunye was planning on staying around the shallow side when she felt someone grab her hand. She looked up to see a buff guy with a nice body dragging her. It took her a few seconds before she realized who it was.
"TAEYANG?!" she cried but he didn't respond. She didn't seem to care anymore that she was about to follow her friends on the pit of "death" or bungee jumping, all she cared about was that Taeyang did come.
When they arrived to where everyone was, they all looked at the two, shocked. Taeyang smiled at them.
"Let's celebrate the debut of SUNNY!" he shouted and raised his hand along with Sunye's in the air. He looked over at Sunye who tried her best not to look down.
"Yah, don't be scared," he said. Sunye looked up at him and blushed, feeling Taeyang squeezing her hands. "I'll be with you, and together we will fly."
--- --- ---
"Hold on to me tight, Yoobin!" TOP said in a shaky voice as he tightly hugged Yoobin. Yoobin giggled a little although she knew she was just as scared as her "manly" boyfriend. "Yah, DON'T BE SCARED! LET IT ALL OUT, OKAY?!" he shouted at the top of his lungs.
Yoobin rolled her eyes. "TOP, it's going to be over in no time!"
TOP hugged her tightly, hoping it would be over REALLY soon. "YAH, MAYBE WE SHOULDN'T GO AFTER A-- AHHHHHHHHH!!"
And down they went. TOP and Yoobin both screamed at the top of their lungs, but everyone else could hear TOP's screechy voice over Yoobin's.
Sunye was too afraid to look down at her best friend's state. She was holding tightly onto Taeyang as they started putting the gear on.
"I'm sorry...I don't think I could let go anytime soon," she said awkwardly, knowing that Taeyang might have felt a bit uncomfortable. She heard a low chuckle.
"Don't be scared. Think of this as my celebration present for you," he replied, smiling down at her. "I got over my fear of heights, maybe someday you will, too."
Sunye gulped. 'I wish you'd get over your fear of loving, too,' she thought.
"Okay, you guys are ready," the people said. Everyone already made their way down there with their partners and all that was left was her and Taeyang.
"Trust me Sunye, roller coasters are way scarier," he said and winked at her. Sunye smiled and before she knew it, they were going down in a flash. Her scream came late but it was there, although there was a bit of happiness in the scream, and Yoobin noticed it, too.
"Sunye-ah, he really came!" she whispered to her best friend a few minutes after sitting around the pool area. Sunye nodded and slightly smiled.
"Sunye, can I talk to you for a minute?" the girls turned around to see Taeyang standing behind them. Sunye looked at Yoobin, confused if she should go with him or not. Yoobin gave her a "you-should-go" look and Sunye agreed.
--- --- ---
"Um... thanks for coming," Sunye said quietly, breaking the silence as they walked around the deeper side of the pool area.
"It's my pleasure," he replied. "But I came for another reason, too."
She looked at him, confused. Was this her chance? Or was it for something else? Taeyang let out a long sigh before he spoke.
"I'm sorry, but I don't think I could look at you," he said suddenly. He looked outward, towards the gentle moving water instead of at Sunye. He wasn't looking at her at all. "I can't see anyone other than Y--"
"Have you ever tried?" Sunye asked, feeling hurt. "In the past month, what were you doing? Were you actually trying to get over her? Or where you just 'sorting' out your thoughts?"
Taeyang tiredly shifted in her direction, but he still didn't face her. "I don't want you to feel the way I did. I don't want you to get hurt and end up with a broken heart that won't ever get fixed."
Sunye shook her head and made Taeyang look straight at her. "You're a liar. You don't want to protect me, but you want to protect yourself."
"That's crazy!" Taeyang said, once again looking away. This time, he started to walk away, too.
"Are you going to run away again?" Sunye called after him. There was a silence until Taeyang heard a splash. He looked behind and found Sunye under water. He rolled his eyes and continued to walk.
'She's been under there for a long time,' he thought and looked back again. He knew that just walking away wouldn't satisfy him so he went back to the pool, finding no Sunye swimming freely. Then he saw something floating.
"SUNYE!" he cried and dived into the water, pulling her along to the side. "SUNYE! SUNYE!"
She wasn't breathing so Taeyang had no choice but to go to plan B, CPR. After a few seconds, water spurted from her mouth. He helped her up as she coughed, trying to get it all out.
"Are you okay?" Taeyang asked, worried. Sunye smiled.
"I will be after the prince kisses me," she said. She found the will to grab him by his neck and pull her towards him. They were so close that if Taeyang had moved any closer, their lips would touch. "But the prince doesn't wanna kiss someone like me."
She released him and got up, quickly walking away. She stopped and looked back at Taeyang, who was still dumbstruck from what she had done, or almost done. She grinned, finding Taeyang's cute side.
"Even though I felt like I was going to die, I still thought of you!" she shouted. "I hope next time, it will be a real kiss!"
