Raymond and Linda saw each other and greeted with a handshake.
Raymond: So ready for todays case?..nervous?.." He asked linda.
Linda : Nope Im totally fine. May the best attorney win. She smiled with a wink.
Raymond looked at her and smiled back. "Good luck to you too " he ansered back.
~In the court house~
Officer #1 - Murder case #4322. Defendent Linda Chung Plantiff Raymond Lam. Accuser Paul Chan. Victum : Timmy Long. Case Description : Victum Timmy Long was murdered on 3/24/98. For drunk driving by Paul Chan. Police say that Paul Chans car had been seen at the crime scene at about 1 am-3am.
Paul Chan : "Innocent your honour!" he shouted to the judge.
Judge : Witness please control urself. as he said while Paul kept yelling :innocent:
Judge : Let the summoning begin.
Raymond got up and bowed. "Your honour i would like appoint my first witness John Wong."
Judge : "request granted"
Raymond " Thank you your honour"
The witness came in and bowed to the judge and took his spot on the podeum.
Raymond: "Can you state your relation to the accuser please."
Witness : Im the bar tender of ~Forget it Bar~
Raymond: I see. "So you saw what happend that morning right?" He asked.
Witness : "Yes i did. I remeber i while i was driving near the bar at around 2:30 am, i saw a group of teenagers driving a car and another person at street trying to cross all sudden i saw the car bump into the guy.
Raymond: "I see, and then what?" Ray continued asking.
Witness : "Then as i saw i went up to them to see waht happened. They saw me and started drive away immediatly."
Raymond : "Did you see the person who injured the victum if so can you point him out?"
Witness looked around and saw Paul and pointed at Paul.
Linda :" Objection!..your honour Ray here is accuseing my clientonly on one person perspective."
Judge : "Objection given Ray please restate your wording and dont jump to conclusions." he warned.
Ray : "Yes your honour."
~Summoning continues~
Ray : "No questions asked your honour." he sits.
~Linda gets up and summons~
Linda : Timmy, are you sure the person you recognize is my client or looked like my client?" she asked.
Witness looked back at the accuser and answered "I think so."
Linda : "You think so? are you sure or not sure?" she asked again sternly.
Witness : "I think Im sure."
Linda : "No questions asked your honour." she sits.
~after a 1hr summoning the judge decided to hold the case to two day after for another summoning..~
~Outside courthouse~
Ray: "You did good in there." he complimented Linda.
Linda "So did you. Though we cant assume our performance just yet." she smiled.
Ray : "Yeah true well, where are you off to?" he asked.
Linda : "Im heading back to the office i want to see what else i can find on this case." she answered back.
Ray : "wow hard worker,well im headed back home, so ill see you tom. " he answered back and smiled.
~Linda smiled back and shook hands with Ray.~
~They departed~
