Raymond : "Hey Myo." he smiled.
Myolie : "Hey Ray. How was the traffic?" she questioned.
Raymond : "Pretty Good and you?"
Myolie : "It was fine."
Few minutes later the rest of the crowd came in. they were on their usual buisness. All sudden Julie went up to them.
Julie : "Hey guys what up?" she asked curiously.
Ray : "Nothing just asking Myolie to hand me some documents." he answered back.
Julie gave a stern stare and looked supicious. : " Mhmm..suree.." she joked back.
Ray : "Get back to work or else ill deduct your salary." he joked.
Julie resumed to work.
Myolie : "So what you doing later? want to go eat jap?..i heard theres a good resturant just down the corner." she suggested.
Ray : "ooh sorry i got a client to see. so Ill prolly be busy how bout tom?" he suggested.
Myolie : "I think I can..I have to check first." she replied back.
Ray : "Okay. Just let me know tonite." he assured.
Myolie Nodded.
2 hrs later a client came in to look for Raymond.
Client #1 : "Hello..is this the LamFung Law Firm?" the client asked.
Receptionist. : "Yes it is..how may I help you?"
Client #1 : "Im looking for Lawyer Lam...I have an appointment with him at 2." he answered back.
Receptionist. : "Myolie Can you let Mr Lam know his 2'0 clock client here to see him." she confirmed.
Myolie : "Alright send him in."
Receptionist led the Client to Myolie and Myolie led the client to Raymond.
~Knock~
Raymond : "Come in." he looked up. "Mr Cheng how nice it is to see you come in."
Mr Cheng : "Hello nice to meet you too." he greeted.
Raymond : "How may I help you?" he asked.
Mr Cheng : "Well few days ago Ive recieven a lawsuit letter of my apartement Tennet who is sueing me for drunk driving and killing her dog." he explained. "But fact was is that I wasnt Drunk driving I was just looking at my Map and all sudden a dog came in front of my car and i accidently bumped into it and killed it." he continued.
Raymond : "I see...Well dont worry Mr Cheng Here at LamFung Law Firm we will go abroad our clients decisions and help them win the case for thems." he assured.
Mr. Cheng : "I know I seen your commercials that why i came for your help. " he said.
Raymond gave him a look. " Well if you will just let my assistant know and shell help you with the document filing."
he informed.
Mr Cheng nodded and went out of the office.
Mr. Cheng : "Um..excuse me?.."
Myolie : "Yes?" she asked.
Mr Cheng : "Um..Lawyer Lam told me to come see you and get to fill out some documents." he confirmed.
Myolie : "Ooh right hold on one second.." she got a pen and form and asked him to fill out the form.
Mr. Cheng : "Thank You."
Myolie : "No problem." she replied back with a smile.
Mr Cheng Left the firm 1 hr later.
~7 pm.~
Ray : "Hey Myolie?..want to go out for japanese?" he asked.
Myolie : "Huh? What?..ooh i guess." She was looking at Mr Cheng form. " Hey Ray look at this." she continued. Ray took a look."It says here that the dog was actually out on the street on its own because the owner didnt have it on its lesh and since it wasnt on its lesh it wasnt the driver fault." as she read from the form.
Ray : "I see. Maybe the driver wasnt lying. We need to go and have a talk with Mr Cheng." he assured.
Myolie agreed. :" We can go ask him tom afternoon. I got his number right here. Ill give him a call tom morning to have an appointment."
Ray agreed. " Well Im kinda hungry now so lets go eat...We can worry about the case later." he assured agains.
Myolie agreed and they both left the firm. Moments later they went to eat at a Japanese Sushi area. While eating a worker saw that Myolie had dropped a picture that shown the Dog.
Worker: "Excuese Me you dropped this." he replied.
Myolie : "ooh thank you." she thanked. She saw that the worker was looking at the picture so deeply. "Do you know this dog?"
Worker : "Yes i do. I seen him and the owner walking around here alot." he answered.
Raymond : "When was the last time you saw it?" he asked.
Worker : "I saw it about 2 days ago with the owner. I was cleaning the tables all sudden i heard a loud voice on the phone that the owner was talking with. I kinda got nosy so i went up to see what was going on. Sooner or later i saw that the Owner was sitting with her dog and started to get some drinks. 1 minute later while i was handing the drinks over to the customer, I saw the dog leave on its own." he explained.
Raymond : "Did you see if it had a collar or not?" he asked agains.
Worker : "Im not sure but I think he didnt...Well i wouldnt know since actually not my buisness." he continued.
Raymond : "Okay thank you."
Worker : "No problem. are you guys ready to order?" he suggested.
Myolie : "Um..Ill have a salad, with a Tempura Roll and Salmon Roll with Avocado. How bout You Ray?"
Ray was thinking hard into the case and answered. :"Anything fine."
Myolie : "That it for now then. make that double on the salad and extra Terriaki Roll. Thanks."
Worker nodded and went back to work.
Ray thought deeply agains. Myolie interrupted. " What you thinking about so deeply?"
Ray didnt answer. Myolie then asked again with a lil anger mode. Ray then went back to Myolie : "ooh nothing just bout the case. But anyways it okies We'll find out more tom. anyways." he assured.
That night Myolie and Raymond had dinner together and all Raymond kept thinking was about the case. "If the owner didnt have a leash on the dog, why would the owner say he did? Who is actually telling the truth?" he wondered about this question all night that he didnt realize that Myolie was even there.
