~phone rings~
Kevin : "Hello?." he said in a tired mood.
Niki : "Hello Kevin?..did i wake you up?" she asked quietly trying not to wake Myolie up.
Kevin : "Alittle he sighed..what is it?"
Niki : "No just woke up so decided to give you a wake up call." she responded back.
Kevin : "hehe icic. it okies Im almost up." he replied back.
Niki felt a bit bad because she knew that she woken kevin up a bit early and since he been working hard now to help raise his dad and sister it was kinda a hasle for him.
Niki : "Well you go back to sleep it okies kinda still early anyways ill just call you back later to see what your up to okay?"
Kevin : "Alright." he replied back.
~2 hrs later Niki called agains.~
Niki : "Hello Kevin your up?"
Kevin : "Yeah Im up. My sister just woke me up but Im up."
Niki : "oohs okays. So doing anything today?..o yeah it your day off today you should rest." she suggested.
Kevin : "no it alright i got some things to take care of..um..do you want to go have lunch with me?" he suggested.
Niki : "oohs i cant sorry i got to see a client later." she apoligized.
Kevin : "oohs it okies nvm then." he then hung up the phone.
Niki felt bad agains. It has been the 2nd time she rejected his lunch offer. But then it wasnt her fault if her boss kept making her have lunch a hr later.
Boss : "Niki can you come in my office please." her boss ordered.
Niki : "Ill be right there." she answered back.
Boss : "Okay."
Niki went into the bosses office.
Boss : "Close the door please and sit down."
Niki did as told.
Boss : "Look, I know you been working all day now and so far your status work is very well. I really appreciate the hard working so..from now on your position going to be filled by another person."
Soon as Niki heard she looked suprised and spoke out : "Your firing me?"
Boss gave her a look and said : "Well if that what you think then that what you think. What do you think anyways?"
Niki : "Well I think your wrong. Was it something i did? if so let me know. if not you have no right firing me!" she said in a bit angered tone.
Boss smiled and giggled a bit. "look at yourself just by hearing your position being filled by someone else you just flip.
Niki : "Well of course who wouldnt?"
Boss : "Dont worry your not fired just that im giving you a promotion to be the new lead manager which is a position under me but higher then the rest of collegues." she said.
Niki lit up agains : "Really??! ooh thank you thank you so much! " She smiled with excitement. she continued. " Im soo sorry bout before."
Boss : "It okays now..i need to go got something to do. you can start your new position tom okay?"
Niki : "okay i understand." she left her office and started to call Kevin first thing.
~Kevins phone rings~
Kevin : "Hello? who this.?"
Niki : "hello kevin guess what?"
Kevin : "What?"
Niki : "I just got a promotion!" she said excitedly.
Kevin : "Congratulations" he said sighly.
Niki : "What the matter?" she noticed his voice wasnt in a good mood.
Kevin : "Nothing. um..can i call you back later? i got something to do." he said.
Niki replied : "Okay then call me back later."
Kevin agreed and hung up the phone.
~Kevin Side~
John : "Hey Kevin!..get back to work!"
Kevin : "Alright Im coming!" he replied back with annoyance.
Kevin felt really annoyed with his boss John. It been a while that Kevin had worked for him nearly 2 yrs now. He felt so eager to somehow punch him at times when he was anoying but then since he was his boss he couldnt really do anything.
John : "Later imma leave early so you lock up understand?"
Kevin : "okay." he said tiredly.
That night Kevin returned home late and didnt bother to call Niki back because he was tired and forgot to call her whereas Niki was waiting for his call but then she wanted to call him but scared he mite be awaken agains and mite yell at her agains.
