~4 years later~
It has been four years now after Linda death all was back to normal. Raymond has been very hard working at his lawyer job. Today was a big day for him because he is going to be going for a interview by the boss and be promoted a highly ranked position in the Law firm, and have his own law firm just as he and Linda had dreamed.
Susie [The assistant] : "Sir, your interview in about 20 mins." she reminded him.
Ray : "Alright susie thanks." he smiled back.
Ray was getting ready for the interview until he spotted an old cup of Linda. He started to look at it and thought back all the memories he had with her.
Later that evening Ray entered the Interview room. He got interviewed.
Interviewer: "Hello My name is John Chan I will be the one interviewing you today." He greeted.
Ray : "Hello my name is Raymond Lam. Nice to meet you." he smiled and shook John hand.
John : "Okay lets start." he suggested.
John : " So how long have you worked as a lawyer?"
Raymond : "Ive worked for a bout 4 1/2 years almost 5." he answered back.
John : "I see, so..how many cases have you won or lost?"
Raymond : "Lets see Ive won about 5 cases and Lost about 3." he answered back.
John : "I see agains..and how long--" the conversation started to fade quietly.
~1 hr later~
John : "Thanks for taking your time for this interview Mr Lam." he greeted.
Ray : "Thank you sir my pleasure." he smiled back and they both exited.
~3 weeks later~
Raymond got a notice in the mail. It stated that he had pass the interview session and was able to get a promotion job. His new office was being put on the 10th floor 2 floors up from the one he is in now. He told his collegues and invited them to lunch.
Ray took out Linda picture and told her about the good news. He promised her what he promised back then 4 yrs ago of getting a new office and a good highly promotion to show her how well he has been doing. Ray got excited and kissed Linda picture.
~2 hrs later~
Ray : "Susie, when the new assistant coming?"
Susie : "She should be here in about 10 mins." she answered back.
Ray : "Okay. btw if she comes, tell her to wait in the waiting room for me i need to go and buy a cup of coffee."
Susie got up : "Ill go buy it for you."
Ray : "No it okay ill go. Thanks anyways.."
Susie sat back down. "no problem." she winked.
~Raymond went down to the nearedt coffee shop and ordered coffee. As he was online, he bumped into a girl who was about 5'6 and was wearing High heals with a Suit and Skirt with Glasses on.~
Ray : "Oooh Im sorry."he apoligized.
Girl : "It okay." she smiled at him.
Ray : "okay." he agreed.
~5 min. later~
~Both the Girl and Ray was taking a elevator together.~
Ray : "What floor?" he asked.
Girl : "ooh the 10th floor please." she answered back politely.
Ray : "hehe same floor okay. your here for an interview?" he asked curiously.
Girl : "Yeah so tireding too how come the floors have to be so high in this building why cant we just have a normal non so high floors?" she joked.
Ray looked at her and smiled.
~Ding~
Ray : "After you." he said as a gentlemen.
Girl : "Thanks."
Ray : "well im off. ill see you sometime around." he suggested as he went back to the office.
Girl : "Yeah lols okay." she greeted back and went up to the receptionist.
Girl : "Ah hello. Im here for an interview at 2:00pm. My name is Myolie. Myolie Wu." She greeted.
Receptionist : "ooh yeah hold up just a sec." She pressed Ray room phone. "Mr Lam a girl named Myolie Wu is here for an interview." she told Ray.
Ray : "Send her in please." he replied back.
Receptionist : "This way please." She led Myolie into the Law firm room and saw how big it was to Myolie suprise, it was also as big as the last Law firm she worked at.
~Knock Knock~
Ray : "Come In." ~ Door opens~
Receptionist : "Mr Lam your client is here."
Ray looked up and spotted the girl he had bumped into earlier. He got up. "Its you." he smiled.
Myolie : "Yeah same here." she smiled back and greeted. "My name Myolie Wu. nice to meet you."
Ray : "Nice to meet you too. " He smiled.
Myolie took out her resume for Ray to examine.
Ray : "ooh so you worked in a law firm before i see." as he noticed.
Myolie : "Yeah i did i worked there for 2 yrs or so now but because the pay and the attitude of my boss, i just left." she replied back.
Ray : "I see. hehe i wonder how much he payed you and if it is the amount we going to give i guess you can just leave too. He joked.
Myolie looked at him and made a fake smile.
Ray looked up : "Im kidding dont worry i wont treat my employees so rude im a nice guy."
Myolie looked to side :"yeah right how will i know if your lieing or telling truth.?"
Ray : "Excuse me?" he interrupted.
Myolie : "Ooh nothing." she smiled a fake smile.
Ray smiled back.
Ray : "Well ive gone over the Resume. Can you start tom at 9?" he asked.
Myolie : "ooh sure no problem."
Ray : "alright then you got the job. Btw let me tell you the assistant now that i have will be off duty for a while because shes pregnatnt and will be off for about a year or so so for now youll take her spot and when she come back youll work for me but as an assitant lawyer since i seen that your heading to become a liscenced lawyer. Am i correct.?"
Myolie looked at him and agreed.
Ray : "So then it settled tom start and every month youll get a check of $1,200. is there any problem?" he asked.
Myolie : "Nope it fine it be better to start up from bottom to low. Thank you. =)" she stood up and greeted goodbye.
Ray : "Alrighty then ill see you tom."
~Myolie leaves.~
