*Recap : That night Kevin called to ask Niki out on a date but the person who ended up answering the phone was Myolie. They spoke for bout an 1 hr or so then Niki took the phone and spoke with Kevin. They decided to meet the next afternoon at 2 at the LumSome Cafe.*End of Recap*
~Lumsome Cafe~
That Afternoon Kevin wore a usual nice T-shirt with a leather jacket and was waiting for Niki. Few moments later Niki arrived wearing a long summer type dress and was wearing a pink half armed blouse with sandels.
Kevin got up.
Kevin : "Wow you look pretty today." he smiled and commented.
Niki blushed. "Thanks you look good yourself too.=)"
Kevin : "i guess so it what i usually wear everyday anyways. Lets get something to eat shall we?" he suggested.
Niki agreed : "Okays."
Niki : "Sorry bout yest. night Myolie was kinda eating chocolate and was in a bad mood when you called." she apologized.
Kevin : "Its okays. That girl aways seem annoying and bratty that when most people see her, they start to walk the other way." he joked.
Niki looked at him and smiled. "Yeah, maybe."
Niki : "Anyways how did you know her?"
Kevin : "Well i met her just a month ago while i was visiting my old buddie Raymond."
To Niki suprise she couldnt believe that he mentioned about Raymond.
Niki : "Raymond? you mean Raymond Lam?" she asked curiously.
Kevin : "Yeah him why you know him?" he asked back curiously.
Niki : "Yeah he was my bestfriend Linda Boyfriend." she explained. "How is he now? is he okay? what does he do? is he all happy and living life good?" she continued to ask curiously.
Kevin : "Yeah hes good he opens his own firm just a month ago and hes been good. He still single since he last talked about Linda." he agreed exclamitorily.
Niki nodded.
Kevin : "If you want we can ask him to come out for lunch or dinner sometime and we can catch up on the old stuff. You can bring Ms Bossy girl Myolie too." he suggested.
Niki : "Hey she not bossy. she cool." she complimented on Myolie defendingly.
Kevin smirked and laughed a bit.
2 hrs later after Lunch, Kevin returned Niki back to her workplace.
Niki : "Well ill see you around." she smiled, and turned around. All sudden Kevin grabbed her by the arm and kissed her cheek.
Niki blushed agains. "What was that for?" she asked while blushing.
Kevin : "it a goodbye kiss. =). btw are you free tom night i like to take you out for dinner. is Steak good?" he suggested.
Niki started to smile. " Sure okay.=)." she agreed.
Kevin : "Cool then tom ill pick you up at 7." he told her.
Niki agreed and walked to her workplace.
~That night Niki returned home and saw her dog JackJack eating through the cookie box.~ : Jack Jack no..bad dog. Jack Jack whined and went to his little bed. Myolie passed by.~
Myolie : "ooh your back how was the lunch date?" she asked.
Niki : "it was fine." she replied back.
Myolie : "I see what chu do?"
Niki : "no we went for coffee talked bout stuff and about you and Raymond and some more...stuff."
Myolie : "Woah you talked about Me and Raymond?" she asked curiously.
Niki : "Yeah and?"
Myolie : "Nothing i just hope not anything bad."
Niki :"no dont worry nothing bad." she confirmed.
Myolie agreed with a stern look.
Niki : "Well tom we're going out for dinner, so i wont be home to eat."
Myolie : "He asked you out?"
Niki : "Yeah and so.."
Myolie : "Nothing. well good luck with him..hope everything goes well."
Niki couldnt agree more. That night she couldnt sleep. It felt like her prince charming has finally came. She always wanted a guy to ask her out somehow and finally it was a guy of her dreams: Kevin Cheng. That night she layed awake thinking of what to wear and plans. but she did hope that it will turn out right and okay. hopefully.
