“She’s my….” He paused. “She’s my fiancée.” Aaron’s expression became more surprised.
“What’s happening to this world?!” Aaron thought as he looked at the door of the room that you are in.
“Are you telling the truth?” Aaron asked.
Mike nodded. He got a feeling that he needs to explain everything… So he started…
*Flashback*
[2 years ago]
“_____!” Your mom called you.
“Yes, mom?” You approached her as she held your hand.
“I want you to meet someone.” She pulled you to the living room, where a familiar silhouette of a guy was seen.
“Mike, this is my daughter… ______.” Your mom introduced you to the guy. The guy faced the two of you.
“YOU?!” Mike and you said in unison.
“You know each other?” Your mom asked.
“We…” You paused.
“We met at the park near my house.” Mike finished the sentence for you.
“Since the two of you know each other already… This won’t be a shocking information…”
“What is it?” You asked.
“Mike and you are childhood friends…”
“Mike? Childhood friend?” You uttered questioningly. Your memories with him began to flash back.
“Is your full name, Mike He?” You asked him.
“Yes, and is your real name, _______ ______?” [just put your name on the blank]
“Oh! You’re really my childhood friend!” You embraced him as he embraced you back.
“I have good news to tell the two of you…” Your mom interrupted the two of you.
“The two of you are getting married after two years. The two of you needs to get married so that when your dad and I are in America already, there is someone that’ll take good care of the company. Mike is older than you and he already graduated from college… so, while you’re studying, he’ll be managing the company.”
Mike and you were taken aback. How can your mom plan that out so easily?
“Can’t the two of you remember your promise with each other?”
“Did we have a promise with each other?” You asked Mike.
“I can’t think of any promise that we ma… WAIT! I remember now!”
“We promise each other that we’ll marry each other…” He said quietly.
“AHH!!! Why did we make that promise?”
“I don’t know either! We’re just kids, that time!”
“I can’t marry you! Aaron Yan is my hubby already! He’s already married with me!” You ran back to your room, closing the door furiously.
*End of Flashback*

“And since then, we had to accept that we’ll get married but still, I treat her as my mei-mei and she treats me as her ge-ge.” Mike uttered after telling the whole story.
“I wish I was that guy… I wish I was you.” Aaron said, his head bowed down.
“Why?”
“I love _____...”
“Oh… so she was the girl that you were looking for?”
“Yeah…”
“And you are the guy that she’s been crying about. Oh! I get it now!” Mike said while nodding slowly.
“I’m so stupid to let her be hurt by me. The interview that she saw on TV was just a prank on her… It was just the technique of the show to know if the fan on the show is really my fan.”
“Huh? I can’t understand what you’re saying.”
“Hebe, she’s one of the surprise guests… but the truth is, she’s part of the prank… Show, the host, he planned that prank… He said that he’ll do that to every fan that goes to his game show.”
“But, didn’t he think that he might hurt the fan’s feelings?”
“He had thought about that but he doesn’t know that ________, is my best friend and also the love of my life.”
“How will you explain that to _____ now?”
“I don’t know!”
“And how will you stop our wedding next month?”
“NEXT MONTH?” Aaron’s eyes widened. He can’t believe all the things that are happening.
