On one Friday, but it’s not just like any other weekend for Mao.
So let’s rewind for a bit.
She’s so happy, earlier this morning her brother Hideaki was actually gives her great news. She’s getting leave next week, so she will get a one week trip to L.A.
So then, after she went back to the house and take Hime with her, she came to Tomo’s office.
‘’how in the world Hideaki-san just giving you some extra day off?’’ Tomo laughs when she told him that.
‘’I don’t know.. maybe because he’s happy to have another child? well, im so lucky that im the child’s auntie.’’ Mao said as she giggled. ‘’oh I really cant wait to see Chri-chan, Steven, and then the people.. I cant wait to play in the beach, the sand.. it’s just a week, but still..’’
Tomo looked at her and cant help but sighed. ‘’I wish I could come with you.’’
She turned around and stop her smile, ‘’awww.. Tomo.’’ She walks closer to him and patted his cheek, ‘’I wish you could go too..’’
‘’yeah, it’s gonna be awesome, our first trip to L.A together.’’ He said. ‘’and I can get to meet my friends, too..’’
Then she paused, ‘’oh, you mean Yuu-chan, Maggie, and I don’t know.. maybe there’s a lot of girls waiting for you to come back.’’
‘’what?’’ he frowned. Mao folded her arms and staring at him. Tomo chuckled ‘’what are you talking about? you knew how my relationship with Yuu right now. and not to mention Maggie.. she’s my bestfriend’s girlfriend now.’’
Mao shrugged, ‘’still. I know that surfers knows a lot of girls.. as the girls loves them.’’
Tomo said something kinda surprised her, ‘’oh, you mean.. girls like you?’’
‘’shut up.’’ she shoved his shoulder with her finger.
‘’besides, who’s Steven? I havent heard anything about your friend name Steven.’’ He folded his arms and continued, ‘’I actually were kinda curious about this Steven. We’ve been together for more than a year now and you’ve only mentioned about him since what? last month?’’
Mao blinks her eyes because she saw him twitching his lips, not in a cute way, but more like ‘im annoyed’ way. She asked him, ‘’are you serious?’’
‘’what?’’ he asked back.
Then Mao’s laughing really hard. ‘’I told you about Steven!’’
‘’what?’’ he repeated, ‘’when?’’
It seems Mao remembers something, ‘’oh, now I remembered. When I told you that day, you were busy with your cellphone. So you’re not really listening to me at that time.’’
‘’ha?’’
‘’well you can try to remember then..’’ Mao lifted her hand as she walks away from him and threw herself on the sofa. It’s too bad she cant take Hime to the office, because now she really wants to tell her beloved dog to make a mess in Tomo’s office room because she’s kinda annoyed.
‘’wait a second..’’ he said, ‘’is that when you said that you have a crush who lives near your beach house?’’
Now is Mao’s turn to frowned, ‘’what?’’ then she said, ‘’no, I don’t.’’
‘’yes, you have! You said that the guy is so adorable when he passed through my house every morning when he’s running with his dog.’’ Tomo pointed at her, seems between satisfied on teasing her, but also irritated.
‘’wait. ah, him. yeah, you were right.. I do have a crush on him..’’ she laughs a bit.
Tomo looked at her, annoyed. And then she defend herself, ‘’hey, I don’t have a boyfriend at that time!’’
‘’so he’s Steven?’’ he said, ‘’I wonder why the name doesn’t comes up right away.’’
She sighed, ‘’silly.. it’s because Steven is not him. I don’t know who’s the guy’s name.. because then I just find out that he’s married so I just forget about him.’’
‘’eeeeh? So..’’ he hang his sentence.
‘’I said to you that day, Steven is Chri-chan’s new puppy!’’
Then there’s a pause before Tomo said, ‘’a.. puppy?’’
‘’yes.’’ she said, ‘’I’ll tell the story again, last year, when Chri heard from me that you gave me Hime, she envied me, you know that story, right? and as she got a boyfriend a couple months ago, he gave a puppy to her. Steven’s her boyfriend middle name, so..’’
Tomo just stood there dumbfoundly as Mao pointed at him, ‘’yeah, and now you’re jealous to a puppy.’’
After he heard that, he’s just snorted and say, ‘’im not jealous earlier.’’
‘’really, huh?’’ she said as she gets up.
‘’yeah..’’ he lifted his eyebrows, acts like he doesn’t care.
‘’so what’s with the twitching lips earlier?’’
‘’what about that?’’ he stepped behind to walk to his chair. ‘’you said by yourself, I twitched my lips a lot.’’
‘’yeah, you look cute when you did that most of the time.’’ she walks to get her phone from inside the bag.
‘’Im not happy when you said im cute, but thanks.’’
‘’but sometimes you did that when you’re annoyed.’’ Mao dialed a number then she put her phone close to her ear.
Tomo exclaimed, ‘’mouuu~~ im not jealous!’’
She laughs, ‘’whatever, Tomo.’’ Then she said through the phone, ‘’ah, hai (yes).. can you take Hime to the office, then you can go to have lunch, untenshu-san (driver)..’’
After she hang up, Tomo said, ‘’where are you going?’’
‘’don’t you hear me? I will go downstairs to take Hime from the car and then im going to go to have lunch for me too..’’ Mao took her bag and walks in grace to the door.
‘’eh? aren’t you gonna invite me to go along with you?’’ Tomo lifted his eyebrows, surprisedly. What the hell is her purpose to go down here to his office if it’s not to have lunch together?
She shrugged, ‘’that was my plan earlier, but now.. you were so annoying as you don’t even want to admit the fact that you’re jealous.’’
‘’whattt?!’’ He laughs uneasily, ‘’but you’re the one who brought this up, you mentioned about Yuu-chan at the beginning!’’ he pointed to her.
Mao staring at him and say as if it’s not a big deal, ‘’fine, im jealous of her.. so what? it’s just how I feel, besides, im still trust you, and I know you wouldn’t do anything with her that can make me sad or mad.. right?’’
Tomo really confused right now. This.. this girl.. Only Mao who can successfully messing his mind up. At first, he was kinda happy to know that she was jealous, but then it seems that she doesn’t really jealous. And he’s relieved that she trusts him, but then again, it seems that she’s also threatening him on the same time.
He gulped as then he exclaimed again, ‘’Ojousama~~ please stop torturing me! Im jealous, okay I admit it.’’
To hear that, Mao’s laugh bursts. She turned around and took his hand, ‘’awww.. what did I do?’’ as she still acts, she said, ‘’who would have thought that the young and success Hanazawa Tomohisa can be like this? you really are not like this when you’re still my bodyguard.’’
‘’well..’’ he shrugged and also smile, ‘’I have to build my cool image back then..’’
‘’baka (silly)!’’
As they were going to kiss, suddenly Mao said, ‘’uh-oh. we’re in the office. And lunch time is almost over.’’
And Tomo also realized that, ‘’ah. You’re right.’’
But then she smiled, ‘’well, your vertical blinds were closed, so a small kiss might be okay.’’ as then their lips sealed.
After she broke the kiss, she said, ‘’and don’t worry, I already asked Kame to give you a permission to go early for today.’’
‘’eh??? really?’’ He seems pretty excited to hear that.
‘’and so we can grab some lunch together as now I invited you to come with me.’’ She winks at him, ‘’although there’s one thing.. now you were bound to agree that you will work harder than before after you get back.’’
He laughs, ‘’like what? work here during the weekend? Like I never done that before.’’
Mao shook her head, ‘’no, like.. work really hard to pay for your one week leave to join me in L.A.. im actually here to inform you that.’’
‘’w-what???? eeehh?’’ then Tomo laughs, ‘’did you really ask Kame for that?’’
‘’well, yeah.. after I asked Jii-chan (grandpa) first and he granted my wish.’’ she shrugged.
Still laughing, Tomo pulled her into his arms and even lifted her. ‘’sugoiii (amazing)!!’’
‘’duh, he would do that, Jii-chan loves me.’’ Mao smiled.
‘’I know that..’’ He nuzzled to her hair, ‘’and I love you for that.’’
‘’thank you.. and I love you too.’’ as Mao rubbed his back lovingly, though suddenly, ‘’but um.. sweety.. it seems that Kamenashi-kun needs you.’’
Kame clears his throat as he’s standing at the door. Tomo turned around and just laughs, ‘’sorry, little brother.. what is it?’’
‘’it’s um.. your ticket for tomorrow, and also some paper work you might have still to work on during your trip to L.A.’’ as Kame handled him some files.
‘’okay, thanks.’’ Tomo is really in a good mood so nothing can actually ruins it.
Mao smiled and say, ‘’once again, thank you Kamenashi-kun, for letting him go with me.’’
Kame shook his head, ‘’it’s my job to handle everything for you, Inoue-san.. it’s also an order from Hanazawa senior.’’
Tomo chuckled, ‘’what’s with you two, the polite greeting and all. And you Turtle, don’t try to act sweet to another woman, or I will tell your pretty wife about it.’’ he pointed his finger to Kame.
‘’Tomo!’’ Mao punched his arm slightly as she laughs.
Right after Satomi and Kame get married 2 months ago, she still works at Mao’s house but as her mother’s personal assistant.
‘’oh, right.. your chauffeur is in the lobby waiting for you, Inoue-san..’’ Kame informed her.
‘’ah, hai (yes).. thanks..’’ Mao said as she linked her hand to Tomo, ‘’let’s go..’’

‘’so..’’ Mao said as she looked at Hime who ran on the park, ‘’this is really good, right?’’
Tomo laughs and nodded at her. ‘’yeah, who would have thought that you will bring me to this kind of lunch?’’
Now they had a picnic under the Sakura (cherry blossom) tree that’s just bloomed since yesterday.
‘’why? I thought you want to do Hanami* with me..’’
‘’well, of course, I am.. but it’s still in office hours.’’ He looked at his watch, it’s still 2.30 PM. And he barely seen another people around them.
Mao sighed, ‘’now I can really imagine what the future’s gonna be..’’
He looked at her as she added, ‘’yeah.. as we’re not even married and you were already so busy.. we barely see each other these past weeks..’’
‘’Mao..’’
‘’and you never came up with surprises or silly things again.’’ she finished her sentence and throw herself on the sheets that was spread on the grass. She’s lying there and just staring at the Sakura on the trees.
As Tomo still in silence, she said, ‘’my good mood successfully ruined.’’
But then she heard he said, ‘’hey, remember when you were riding the bicycle around your house?’’
She’s still staring up to the sky, ‘’when? Oh, during last winter?’’
‘’yeah, you said you missed L.A so much, and you went crazy by taking the by taking the bicycle out, ignoring the fact that I was just arrived to your house and also that it’s 4 degrees Celcius that day.’’ He chuckled.
‘’well im not asking you to come with me.’’
‘’but you’re actually calls me because you forgot your sweater.’’

‘’where are you going??’’ Tomo shouted.
‘’going for a ride!’’ Mao shouted back. It’s 4 PM on Saturday afternoon, and as Tomo went to her house to take her on a date later that night, she’s actually going out with her bike.
‘’what??’’
Near Inoue’s house, there’s some hill and the road was pretty empty. So they often went there only for a walk or sometimes with bicycle. But of course, not in a wintry season like that.
‘’just wait there, im with Hime, don’t worry!’’ Mao waved at him before she left.
So Tomo just sighed and sit on the living room as he turned on the TV, until less than 10 minutes later, his cellphone’s ringing.
‘’yes?’’
‘’sweety~~ I only wear a sweater, and im kinda freezing. Can you..’’
Tomo chuckled, ‘’fine, I’ll get your coat.’’
Mao laughs as she said, ‘’thanks, you’re so kind. I’ll be waiting for the nearest hill.. and don’t make me wait too long!’’
As the place to meet not too far away, Tomo went there about 7 minutes later by running.
She hugged him as he rubbed her arms and said, ‘’you really are..’’ he’s still panting after he ran, ‘’really annoying.. and made me go this far..’’ he paused to take a breath, ‘’but why even because of that, im still wanting to be like this for you?’’
Mao didn’t know whether she wants to smack his pretty head or wants to giggle, but then she just said, ‘’I was just like that too. You can be sooo nosy sometimes, but still I cant get rid of you.’’
He pats her head, ‘’our grandpas are hell a psychic, aren’t they? To be able to know that their grandchildren will grow into two peoples with different characters and yet needs each other so badly.’’
‘’that’s why I might be mad with you, lying to me to be my bodyguard, but I never regret that you are a Hanazawa and im my grandpa’s daughter.. because if it’s not that way, we’re not gonna meet each other, even though we lived in the same city for 10 years..’’
As Mao put on her coat, Tomo held the bike and say, ‘’yeah, it’s true..’’ and as he’s just watching her, she looked at him and say, ‘’hey, how about we take a trip to L.A after we got married?’’
He frowned, ‘’we’re not even-‘’
‘’I know, we even didn’t talk about when and where or anything about the wedding.’’ She rolled her eyes, ‘’why suddenly you become that serious?’’
‘’but yeah, that’s a great idea.’’ he said it right away. ‘’we should do that.’’
She smiled, ‘’now I can answer Chri-chan when she asked about my honeymoon destination.’’
He’s just smiling back at her and give a kiss on her forehead, ‘’come on, do you still want to go around or go back home?’’ as he handling the bike to her. ‘’I’ll follow you, walking from behind with Hime..’’
Mao paused for a while with her finger on the chin, and then she said, ‘’I want to go around, but im gonna sit on the back.’’ then she gave the bike back to him and saying with her former Ojousama’s tone, ‘’Yama-chan, im not driving for tonight.’’
‘’mouuu~’’ Tomo said, ‘’I should’ve guess..’’ but as Mao’s staring at him, he nodded, ‘’okay. okay..’’
And now as he rested his feet on the pedal, he looked back at her and check whether she’s already sit properly or not, ‘’ikou (ready to go)?’’
Mao nodded with Hime in her arms, ‘’gooooo!’’ she pointed to the road in front of her.
‘’hang on tight!’’ then Tomo’s start cycling,’’Ikuzo (we’re going)!’’
She wrapped one of her hand on his waist and she was cheering happily although just a second after that,
‘’ah, Ojousama really gain her weight, doesn’t she?’’ Tomo said it.
‘’urusai (shut up)!’’ and she gave him a smack on the back, along with Tomo’s laughter echoing in that empty road.

‘’yeah, I remembered.’’ Mao took a glance at him, ‘’what about it?’’
Tomo smiles, ‘’why don’t.. we take this trip as an opportunity to prepare what you’ve always been dreaming of?’’
She frowned, ‘’my dream, which.. one..’’ then she paused before she gets up, ‘’you mean.. the beach w- noo..’’
He nodded, ‘’yeah, to get married in L.A next week can makes us thrown away from our family, but what if we go just to prepare everything, then we go back there on summer-no, exactly before summer comes, and you can have your dreamy beach wedding.’’ Somehow, to see her beaming like she does right now, it makes him excited too.
Squeals coming from Mao as she just threw her hands around him to embraced him in excitement.
‘’but of course..’’ Tomo said as he’s smiling, ‘’we have to ask the parents first, or they will kick us from the family.’’
Mao kissed both of his cheek so quickly as she said, ‘’I’ll do that! I’ll talk to them!’’
She was so overwhelmed because of the idea, she even makes Tomo running with her as she's giggling when she ran through the rain that suddenly pour and messed up their Hanami.
''Chotto (wait)!'' Tomo shouted as he try to catch up with her. Hime ran happily beside her pretty master too.
But as the dog's leash caught Mao's feet, she's almost trip. Thankfully, Tomo catch up in time and just grabbed her to prevent her from falling to the park ground.
Some people who walks with their umbrella seems looking at the couple with mixed idea, some of them are confused to look at the soaked couple who seems doesnt care too much about the rain, but some of them were smiling a bit too.
Tomo rounded his hand around her as she said, ''ah, my new shoes are soaked.''
''yeah, and whose fault is that, to run inside the rain like this?'' he said.
She plead to him nicely, ''can I borrow your legs?''
''ah, so now you want me to carry you to the car?''
''no, It's just.. I always wanna try to do this.'' She carefully stepped onto his shoes as now she's standing with the help from his feet.
''thank God you're not wearing a pointy heels.'' Tomo frowned, ''and now what? Do you want me to lead you to dance like a little girl in the movie?''
She laughs to hear that. Yeah, he's right, there's often a scene like this when a little girl dance with her father.
''shut up.'' Mau just said as she slowly tiptoed and she finally reach out to give a slight kiss to his forehead. ''now that's what i mean..''
Hime barked happily beside them and as the rain has turned into a drizzle, yeah, it's just like in a movie.

Mao did try to talk about the idea that night, but the result is,
‘’no, Mao.’’ her mother is the first one who speaks when they gathered both of the parents.
Then Mao sighed and sit on the sofa, ‘’nandeeeee (why)?’’
Her mother tries to look at Tomo’s mother to ask some support. And Tomo’s mother staring at her son, then turns to Mao,‘’well.. because um.. both of the family has agree that we will make a reception party for the colleagues and partners, honey.’’
Mao actually already guessed about this too. And of course, she couldn’t say anything.
She looked at her father, and the man smiled sadly, ‘’im sorry, Mao..’’
Then Pi looked at her apologetically, because somehow he’s the one who brought up the idea, and knowing that he made her disappointed like that..
‘’my grandson made the decision by going to stay for a while in this country to accomplished his responsibility as a Hanazawa,’’ suddenly Tomo’s grandfather entered the room, followed by Kame,’’and Mao-chan is so lovely as she’s willing to do that too with him.. so, why don’t we granted her wish?’’
Mao got up from the sofa and stand beside Tomo while everyone’s staring at the former Japanese prime minister, who’s now was standing among all of them. The parents gets up too to welcomed him.
‘’please, just sit down..’’ he smiled as then he said to Mao’s mother, ‘’Madam, how about we let them arranged the beach wedding there as their wish? and we handle their wedding reception here because we’re actually have to do it just for our sake..’’
Of course, the parents cant say anything. Tomo’s grandpa turned to Mao, ‘’if first you will have the ceremony and reception in here, and then you can have the second one over there, you don’t mind about that, right Mao-chan?’’
She answered, ‘’as long as it’s still with your only grandson, whatever it is, I actually don’t mind, Jii-chan..’’ with a shy smile so then everyone else laughs.
‘’Mao!’’ her mother called out her name, a bit embarrassed, but then join the laughing too.

So that’s what happens a couple months ahead, after being legally married in Japan and the family held a reception party as their wish, the new wedding couple went to L.A to fulfilled Mao’s wish to have the small party on the beach.
Close family and friends was there.
There’s no formal ceremony since the couple are already married, it’s just a round table party. But the wedding bells chimed as Mao walked down on the stairs from the clubhouse to the flowery path that leads her to the sandy beach.
She’s wearing a strapless bohemian wedding gown, on her hand there’s a small bouquet that full of clover and daisies, and she held Naoki-chan’s hand as her only nephew looks as cute as ever.
Smile never leaves her face as on the last step, Tomo is standing there and offered his hand. He looks so adorable with her chocolate colored Bohemian suit, and a boater hat.
He whispered at her, ‘’thank God for this casual party, after those 2 serious wedding event.’’ Then both of them are laughing together as Tomo kissed her cheek before they walked to the guests.
Mao giggled when Maggie stop her at one table, to put on her flower crown made by herself.
‘’a gift for a new friend.’’ she said, as Yuu-chan nodded beside her.
‘’thank you very much.’’ Mao said before she continued to walk.
Chri-chan blew a kiss at her from another table as she laughs.
Divided into two tables, she can see her siblings, all of them, with their spouse and partners.
Naoki released Mao's hand to run to his own parents on their table, so now Mao only walk with Tomo.
She can see Shii-chan too, waving at her. Maki and Haruma are even there too.
Then Mao whispered to Tomo, ‘’hey, I didn’t know that Taka-chan was here too?’’ as she saw Yamashita Takahisa –Tomo’s cousin, sit beside Shiori.
He whispered back at her, ‘’well, of couse I hgave him a ticket, after I borrowed his nickname for a while.’’
Mao laughs as she remember, ‘Yamapi’ is actually Taka’s nickname.
Then she sees her parents on the right side, together in one table with Tomo’s parents.
Kame and Satomi sits nearby.
And when they're almost reach their own table, Tomo's grandpa is standing there with a a champagne in his hand and lifted it saying, ''im sure that your grandfather was so happy to see you two right now..''
Mao released Tomo's hand to hug the old man, and then Tomo did the same thing too. ''thank you, Jii-chan.'' he whispered.
''you deserved a good life, Tomo.'' his grandpa replied as he pat his back.
Then the former prime minister said to the guest, ''to a happy life for both of Tomohisa and Mao.'' lifted the glass as everyone cheered.

When the party is almost over,
''please dont throw it to Shii.'' Tomo whispered to his wife.
Mao was ready to throw the bouquet but she stop because she's laughing, ''ne, how can I throw at her when I cant see what's behind my back?''
''ah, you're right.'' He nodded seriously as Mao's standing with her back facing the guests.
Then she's just throw it without say anything more, and when she turned around, Tomo exclaimed,
''NOOO, Shiii.. You're only 19!''
Shiori-chan is really the one who caught the clover and daisies bouquet.
''eh? Arent that supposed to be my line?'' Tomo's father commented to his son's words.
Everyone's laughing to hear Tomo's word, and Mao just said to her sister in law, ''I hope it will bring luck, just like what I gave to your brother.'' she blew a kiss to her.
Then Mao looks at her husband, who seems dorkily shocked, but somehow he still pull her closer to her and say, ''yeah you are my lucky charm.. Although you just handed the bouquet to my baby sister..'' he sighed.
To heard that, Mao slapped his arm slightly, ''oh come on!''

Mao shifted a bit and slowly opened her eyes because the sun light touches her face.
She looked around, and it's all white. She runs her finger through the Pashmina that covered her, and as she's staring at the mosquito net that hanging, surrounded her in this cozy hammock.
She was fell asleep on the back of her small house. This gazebo-like hammock bought by her beloved Tomo in their first wedding anniversary last month, he said ''because it brings an atmosphere like you're in a beach.''
She blinks her eyes then frowned. Somehow it remind her to her dream long time ago. So then she walked out from there, as she remembered, today's Saturday. And now she can smell the delicious scent coming from Tomo's pastries.
''Tomo-'' She stopped as suddenly he walks out to the terrace, standing with a big tray on his hand. Hime followed him, barking happily.
''hey.. you're awake.'' he smiled, ''look.. I tried to make some bread with new recipes.''
She doesnt reply and wrapped her hand to his arm instead.
''eh, doushite (what is it)?'' he asked her.
As his soapy scent and his warm stare makes her finally awake, she knew that it's real.
So she just smile and shook her head, ''ie, nandemonai (no, it's nothing).'' she grabbed one bread and took one bite.
''dou (how?)?''
''you should give some to Jiichan, it's really good.'' she nodded.
''yosh!'' he exclaimed happily as he put the tray on the table nearby.
As Mao walked back to the hammock in silence, he frowned,
''hontouni daijobu (are you really okay)?''
She turned around and she said, ''of course.. Im just.. Thinking. ''
He followed and sit beside her on the hammock.
''Sometimes in the past, I felt unfortunate to have a lack of freedom as an Inoue. But if I think again, as my grandpa's grand daughter, turns out that he gave me all that I ever dreaming of.''
She's staring at him, and thinking about her silly dream, about having someone who's willing to make breakfast in bed for her.
After being married in only one year, not just breakfast in bed, Tomo sometimes provide lunch to her office, that one time dinner with night picnic near Tokyo Bay, or just a small evening snack in the backyard like right now.
''And actually.. I begin to realized it when you consoled me back then.'' she said, ''remember when i was so down after my break up?''
''ah, in the pavilion? Back terrace?'' he asked.
She smiled, ''yeah.. So.. If im not an Inoue, I wouldnt meet you, who disguised as my bodyguard.''
He laughs, ''what exactly happened in your sleep? You're awake and suddenly became like this..''
Usually, Mao's gonna be sulking if he teased her like that, but this time she's just shook her head and smile calmly.
Then Pi said, ''but.. there's only one that still unfulfilled. You cant live in L.A..''
She took off her clover necklace from her grandfather, and took his hand. He gave her back the clover –the bookmark, that she gave to him when she’s still a baby, so..
Then as she put the clover necklace on his open palm, she closed it and say, ‘’here.. although it’s not a 4-leaves, but with my pray, I share the luck with you. And because of that, I have to be with you wherever it is.’’
He’s staring at her and say, ‘’so it’s your way to say.. you will stay wherever I am even it’s not L.A.’’
She rolled her eyes, ‘’you know you’re smarter when you’re a bodyguard.’’
He snorted to hear that as she continued, ‘’yeah, as long as you’re my bodyguard, I can live anywhere in this world.’’
Tomo lifted his eyebrows, ‘’only a bodyguard, huh?’’
‘’well, as everything too.. I guess.’’ She shrugged but then she looked at her with the corner of her eyes. He was smiling happily as then he hugged her tightly, ‘’arigatou, Ojousama~~~ (thanks, miss)..’’
‘’mouu~ I cant breath..’’ she try to released herself but then end up laughing.
As she’s stop laughing, she asked, ‘’you’ll never let anything bad happen to me, right?’’
He nodded.
‘’and together hand in hand, no matter what?’’
He nodded again, ‘’I begin to feel like when I was going to marry you last year.’’ but as he saw her look, he quickly said in a serious tone, ‘’ Sekai wo teki ni shitemo mamore sou na ki ga suru** (Even if the world was your enemy, I get the feeling that I want to protect you)..’’
She looked at him and say, ‘’you took that from a song, right?’’
He grinned but then he shook his head, ‘’ah, chotto chigau (a bit different).. it’s not that I feel I want to protect you, but I definitely gonna protect you.’’
‘’good.’’ She smiled satisfiedly, ‘’and don’t forget one more thing..’’
He laughs, ‘’of course, zutto I will love you forever….’’

Finally, one of my stories finished.
I don’t know how to feel, happy or sad.. *sniff
I hope you were all enjoying this story as much as I am when I wrote it..
I know that i made a slightly different story development in this long version of The Bodyguard towards the end, but as you can see, i still want to stick to the similarity to the original one shot in the very end -read the last dialogue between Mao-Pi, and you get what i mean, :)
