Chapter 12

JaeJoong And His Parka

A/N :: Since its Halloween and none of my friends plan on doing anything like a party, I might as well just spend the day typing chapter’s haha.
The HenWook side story was pretty much inspired from Junjou Romantica - yes, I stuffed myself with lemon sherbets before reading this so it wouldn’t feel like my virgin eyes has been scarred.
I’m incorporating Cantonese into this fic hehe. Reason why I love using Henry in fic, because I can take advantage of him knowing Cantonese and use it in fic! Woo! Leaving it un-translated sorry, but don’t worry, Henry will explain soon ^^v

thelostfairytale - It’s coming soon! ^^

Ju Young - Everyone in Yaoi High reads YAOI manga to release their inner pleasures >3 Apart from JaeJoong that is LOL

epikSen - OMG THAT LONG COMMENT XD
I luffles you too ^^

[ Kim JaeJoong P.O.V. ]

Okay, now I’m paranoid. Ever since Hero said there could be a possibility that I’m surrounded by vampires, I’ve been acting like an idiot who keeps looking around himself ever since he step foot into this school.

Looking around I see a sea of pale freaks, not one peachy one in sight. Where’s ChangMin when you need him?

“Yo!” someone said casually as they laid they hand onto my left shoulder.

It was cold. Ice cold. It gave me goose bumps when I realised whose voice that belonged to.

Turning around cautiously, I bravely looked up at Jung YunHo, examining his lips encase there was a fang sticking out.

“What?”

“Are you cold?” he looked down at the fur trimmed parka that I wore with my arms hugging tightly onto my body with an amused smirk.

“Yah, I heard you were a student body! Why don’t you do something about the fucking heating?” I spat angrily, “It’s not even fucking winter! It’s fucking autumn!”

I swear I saw a faint mist come trailing out of my mouth just then.

“Well, no one complained much until now. Maybe I should do something about it…” he said as he rubbed his chin in thought, “Then again, you’ll probably need more than half of this school’s on your side to get heating.”

More than half the school? Sounds reasonable. But why do I get the feeling that they won’t agree with me? Guh, stupid vampire theory that’s now stuck in my mind! It’s your entire fault Hero!

“Ah! JaeJoong!” I heard ChangMin call out my name as he skipped over to my side before poking at my parka, “What’s with the parka? Are you that cold?”

I couldn’t believe this guy, don’t tell me he isn’t cold either. If the theory was correct, ChangMin would be shivering like mad by now, I swear he only has two layers on, two thin layers.

“Ah YunHo, what a pleasure to bump into you here.” he then turned to face YunHo, “We better start going to class, please don’t rat out on JaeJoong here for wearing a parka! I’m sure he’ll get used to the conditions here soon!”

Get used to? In your dreams.

“Of course I won’t.” YunHo laughed before he sent a discrete wink at me, “We’re best buddies aren’t we Jae?”

Jae? Where the fuck did he get that nickname from? He can’t call me that! We’re not even friends! I hate him with passion!

He waited for a reply from me, but it never came, all I did was stare at him coldly in return with piercing eyes, burning with hatred. It caused him to snicker a bit before he turned and walked down the halls.

“Since when did you become friends with YunHo eh?” ChangMin asked as he nudged me in the sides, not that it hurt, the parka absorbed the assault for me.

“Did I say that I was friends with him?”

He shrugged before he leaned over to unzip my parka quickly.

“Yah, what do you think you’re doing?” I shouted at him when he inserted himself into the parka with me, setting himself snugly onto the left side of me, both of us under one parka.

“I’m cold.” he grinned sheepishly at me.

“I thought you weren’t?”

“Did I say that I wasn’t cold?”

Damn this guy.

Sighing, we both made our way to our classroom, while getting stared at as well. But hey, as long as I have another human beside me, I feel more safe!

I wonder, if vampires existed, how did ChangMin manage to survive in this school without getting bitten?

My eyes looked to the side, down at ChangMin’s neck, there were no bite marks.

Maybe there weren’t any vampires after all…or maybe this guy was just lucky.

When we walked into the class, everyone’s eyes fell upon me and ChangMin, both under the large black parka.

“JaeJoong-ah, can I borrow your parka so I can get to my class?” ChangMin asked.

I shot him a quick glare before pushing him out of my parka, back into the hallway.

“No freakin’ way.” I spat before slamming the door in front of him.

Everyone in the classroom remained silent still as I made my way down to my seat. Their eyes locked onto me, and the parka. Were they cold as well? Psht, I doubt. I bet they want to suck my blood instead, man why am I thinking about this vampire theory again?

I notice d that DongHae and EunHyuk were looking over at me, with shocked expressions, what’s so shocking about me wearing a parka in class huh? Don’t they realise how fucking cold it is?!

“Kim JaeJoong, please remove that parka of yours.” Yamapi sensei spoke groggily as he walked in with a hunched back.

He looked tired as ever, his arms hung loosely onto his shoulders, he seemed to limp himself into the class room, his hair was untidy and slightly greasy, shirt buttoned in the wrong places not to mention the dark eye bags that were formed under his eyes overnight.
What happened to him?

“But it’s cold.” I shot back.

“I don’t give a fuck, remove it now or I’ll burn it off you.”

Looks like someone got out of the wrong side of the bed.

I reluctantly removed the parka slowly, when one of my arms slid out of the sleeve, I felt the cold air wrap itself around it, causing my hairs to stand up onto an end.

And to make things worse, just then the door had to open to reveal a surprised YunHo.

When he opened the door he noticed all of the class’s attention was on me while Yamapi sensei tried to catch some Z’s on his desk without the class noticing. The side of his mouth crooked upwards into a smirk when his eyes landed on me.
I wonder what he’s thinking about…

“Oh, I didn’t know we have ‘how to strip seductively’ classes now.” YunHo chuckled as he glided over to his seat, keeping his eyes on me.

“I’m not stripping.” I said harshly.

“Then why are you taking your parka off?”

“Because Yamapi sensei” I jabbed my finger at the front of the room where Yamapi sensei laid, “told me to!”

At the very call of his name, he shot up from his desk, looking from left to right in alarm.

“Fire? Where?” he blabbered sluggishly.

“Sensei did you or did you not tell JaeJoong to remove his parka?” YunHo questioned him as he turned his head around to fix his eyes onto Yamapi.

“Of course I-” he then froze suddenly, stopping mid-sentence, as if trying to translate the question that he’s been asked, into his brain, “-didn‘t.”

What the fuck? Did this guy not get enough sleep or something?! Or could it have been me who didn’t get enough sleep last night, worrying about the vampires, causing me to maybe have misheard…psht, yeah right. My hearing is as perfect as my 20/20 vision!

“See,” YunHo then turned back to face me with a slight twinkle of red in his eyes, “I knew it was a strip tease just for me.”

“Fuck off.”

I hate that bastard so much! I just want to rip that smirk off him! I want to rip that mouth off his fucking pale white face!

[ Kim RyeoWook P.O.V. ]

I failed him, I’m a failure.

I thought I would’ve actually had the guts to take control this time, but I failed terribly. I tried, but I was nervous and scared, not to mention inexperienced. I’m not the type that’s brave enough to do anything, I have no confidence, ever since I was born, I knew my life would end up in a mess, I knew I would become a coward, a wuss.

Here I am, laying naked, in the arms of the man I love, who is just months younger than me, who just topped me. In the middle of the woods, not sure what time of day or night it was, it was too dark to tell, yet somehow some source of light managed to leak into this secluded place.

I was meant to be the one topping him, yet, I was supposed to be the seme this time, but I was afraid, afraid that I’ll hurt him. However, it was my confidence was mainly to blame.

Sorry Henry, I failed you miserably.

“H-Henry?” I croaked.

My throat hurt from the loud moans I just yelled out hours ago. My body was bruised at places where Henry punished me from before, bite marks from where his fangs sank, sore from close contact.

“I’m sorry…” I sniffed.

His eyes remained closed as his bare chest heaved rhythmically without every breath he took in, he was sound asleep.

“Hai ngoh dui mn zyu nei…” I heard his lips whisper quietly.

Damn, why didn’t I take classes in Cantonese, Mandarin or whatever language he spoke in!

“Hai ngoh goh choh, hai ngoh lai lei yup lei li goh si…” he carried on murmuring, “Ngoh mn soeng yew nei yao tung fu, but goh lei yao di yeh ngoh zhan hai ho yan soeng ah…”

My eyebrows furrowed in curiosity as to what he was saying, was he blurting out a secret in his sleep? Was he talking about me?

“Dim gai nei ngoi ngoh? Dim ngai nei yew gaan ngoh? Ngoh mn jik dak nei gah…”

Suddenly I saw tears start to fall from his eyes. I instinctively let my fingers touch against the skin of his face, touching the tears, wiping them off his face as if he was my child, crying due to a nightmare.

“Do zhe nei go guan sum…nei hai ngoh goh dai yat goh pang yao gah, nei mn ji mn ji dou?”

Why can’t I have a personal translator just now? Guh…

Suddenly, I felt something cold grab onto my hands, not tightly, but gently. It was Henry’s.

“Li Xu…ngoh ho ngoi nei…”

What? What did he just say?

[ Kim JaeJoong P.O.V. ]

“Lunch time, finally! I’m starving! I’m so hungry that I can eat a bull! I’ll rip its meat off with my very own hands and chew viciously at the delicious meat!” I roared and lashed out viciously at the thought as me, EunHyuk and DongHae were making out way to the dining hall.

The other two looked at me worryingly as I moved round like a crazy dog in my parka.

“Do you need to go see the nurse JaeJoong?” EunHyuk asked after he dodged my lashing left arm.

“No! I need to go eat some food!”

“Is it because of YunHo?” DongHae piped in.

I stopped moving my arms about, letting them drop to the sides as I turned to face him with a daunting look.

“Don’t you dare mention his name in front of my face, ever again.” I spoke in a threatening tone.

I don’t need to be reminded that YunHo provoked me all morning about the ‘strip’ tease. Just the thought of him sent my blood bubbling with anger.
Even if I did have a parka on in class doesn’t mean I can’t feel him poke his finger onto my parka continuously!

So what if I just imagined that bull with YunHo’s face on it?

. . . Am I going crazy?

“Yah! Yah! They’re serving raw and rare steak with blood!” I heard someone call out.

Ew, steak with blood? They’re the worst! I don’t feel like going to the dining hall now…Who would eat that sort of stuff?

I spoke too soon.

Soon I felt the ground beneath me shake accompanied with the increasing noise of storming feet that belonged to a majority of the school.

Turning around I saw a flood of pale students come running down our way, is it me or do I see some of their eyes glow red?
Man people here must love raw steak…or is it because there’s blood included?

The three of us instinctively jumped to the side of the corridor to let the raging crowd run past us and down into the dining hall like hungry beasts.

“Does bloody steak really taste that good?” I asked the other two, who looked less shocked than I was, I guess it must’ve happened before to them.

“Yeah, it’s like a delicacy for most of the people here.” EunHyuk answered as he peeled himself from the wall once the crowd passed.

The doors to the dining hall remained opened, the sickening smell of blood wafted from the school’s high class kitchen, through the dining hall and into the corridors. The very stench made me want to throw up. Then again, it wasn’t as bad as the times that I walked passed rooms which smelt like girls’ periods.

“Don’t you just hate this smell?” I asked in a nasal tone, since I pinched my nose to block the stink.

They shrugged in reply.

“We’re used to it. Doesn’t bother us that it smells like dead people anymore.” DongHae answered, “Are we still going dining hall or not?”

“What do you think?” I said before storming down the corridor, looking for somewhere which wasn’t infested with such a foul stench.

We spent a couple of minutes looking for a nice smelling area to hang out in, foodless. Until DongHae suggested that we go to this certain place on the campus. It was a garden at the other end of the school, which was heavily scented with lavender.

I expected this girly looking place to be deserted, but sadly it wasn’t. It was already occupied by three other guys that I have never seen before in this school.
Then again, it was a good thing that they weren’t pale.

“Ah, who do we have here?” one of the guys with glasses on spoke up as he noticed our presence.

This guy looked somewhat similar to LeeTeuk’s bum-buddy. Only that this one looked less masculine and more fragile.

“Long time no see.” another glassed boy spoke from the other side of the garden after he lowered down a book that he was reading then nodding at my direction, “Whose the new guy?”

“Kim JaeJoong.” DongHae answered casually.

“Hey, you’re that guy!” I heard a familiar voice pipe up from a corner.

My eyes followed to see that familiar face, the one who was always getting chased by two other pales. What’s his name again? The foreign Chinese one…

“You remember me?” I pointed at myself.

“Yeah, I see loads of people around the school!”

That wasn‘t quite the answer I was looking for. Oh well, that’s what you expect from a foreign kid.

“I think he meant that he bumps into a lot of people in the school because of SiChul.” the nerd with the book spoke again, “HanKyung has a very good memory.”

“Thank you.” HanKyung thanked happily at the nerd.

“I’m hungry!” EunHyuk blurted out as he sat himself on the bench next to the LeeTeuk’s-boyfriend-look-alike.

“ChangMin’s gone to get food, should be here soon.” HanKyung said.

ChangMin? He knows these people? Why didn’t he introduce me to them? I swear ChangMin is friends with everyone in this school, it’s scary…

“Sit.” the nerd with book said as he scooted up a bit on the bench, making room for me, “I’m Lee JaeJin by the way.”

He then removed his glasses and headband and placed them onto the book before he swished his head around, letting his hair fly around freely and the fringe fall neatly on his forehead.
He looked less geekier now, looked almost ulzzang like me.

The power of glasses and a headband holding back your fringe…who knew. I wonder if the same thing would effect me as well…I should try it one day, maybe just for fun as a disguise.

Looks this used-to-be-nerd won’t get a swirly in the toilets today.

“And that’s Lee HongKi, my cousin.” JaeJin then pointed at the other glassed boy who now had his phone flipped out, taking pictures of himself in various angles, “He’s vain, very vain.”

I laughed at the statement, causing HongKi to stop what he was doing and turn to face me.

“What? Can’t someone be a little vain in a while?” he spoke shrilly before returning back to his selca session.

In the next couple of minutes, we sat there and chatted, ignoring our grumbling and hungry stomachs, getting to know each other. Then moments later, half way into lunch, ChangMin came running in with heavy looking two baskets that smelt of gorgeous normal food, not the bloody steak crap.

“Ah JaeJoong, nice to see you here, I see that you’ve taken your parka off!” ChangMin chirped as he set down the two baskets.

“Yeah, I think this is the only place with heating on…”

I watched as ChangMin pulled one of the baskets over to him, lifting up the blanket to reveal something that looked like a gourmet in a basket.

“What are you waiting for? There’s your basket!” he pointed at the other basket, “Eat!”

“Whose basket is that?” I asked.

“Mines!” he grinned happily at me before stuffing a chicken into his mouth.

I then looked at the other basket, it was filled with just the same amount of food as ChangMin’s one had, but that was for the six of us to share. It was plenty I guess, but how could ChangMin eat that entire basket all to himself?

As is he read my mind, he looked up at me again, “Yes JaeJoong, I can eat all of this by the end of lunch, don’t worry.”

“Yeah, ChangMin can even eat 7 bowls of rice along with 5 side dishes.” HongKi added, “Sometimes makes me wonder where all that fat goes if it doesn’t stay in him to build up into fat.”

My eyes couldn’t help but watch ChangMin eat like a pig during the entire lunch, he was munching down each food at such a fast pace that I had never seen before.

Makes me wonder if he’s human.
