“You dipstick. It’s your entire fault that they got away!” I barked.
“My fault? How the fuck is it my fault?!” YunHo retorted.
We were like an old couple arguing down the empty street, making our way back to the hospital.
We ignored the cars with their windows rolled down and the drivers poking their heads out to watch and listen.
We ignored the traffic lights that had the red man alight and walked on like the lucky bastards we are as the cars’ tyres screeched to a halt, and the driver’s upper body popping out of the rolled down windows, threatening to beat us to pulp.
I found it weird how those crazy drivers and the people we walked past didn’t notice YunHo’s aluminous skin, it was glowing like crazy under the moon light and lampposts.
Minutes passed. We continued to argue on and on, even in the corridors of the hospital, waking patients up room by room. The nurses were helpless. Why? They didn’t date want to anger us pretty boys. Then again, it didn’t stop the male doctors.
“Would you two please be quiet. It’s 2am in the morning and some patients want their rest!” one of the pesky doctors hissed at us while trying to catch up to our speed.
“Why don’t you shut the fuck up, then I’ll think about it.” YunHo snarled.
The doctor backed away in fear, he probably saw one of YunHo’s deadly glares. It was so deadly you’d think that you just contracted Swine Flu or cancer.
Upon reaching to Hero’s room, we stopped arguing. Well, I stopped it.
“Fine shut up. Discussion over! Now what are we going to do about Hero?” I said in an agitated way while I unlocked the door to the room to find Hero still asleep, next to the wide open window.
In an instant I ran over to close it, in fear of my dearest friend catching a severe cold.
“Well, we’ll take revenge later on, but for now I think we might need to get him a surgeon. Does he receive radiotherapy?” YunHo asked solemnly.
“I think so. CheonWoo’s family probably provided it already. I mean, they are filthy rich as well.”
“It doesn’t seem to be working.” he frowned, “What kind of cancer is it?”
“Brain cancer.”
A moment of silence then slipped in. YunHo’s face fell into the next level of seriousness. His dark eyes were boring down onto Hero, as if scanning him, taking in information to his brain.
Suddenly I saw a glint of red light swipe past his glass-like eyeball, his iris seemed to glow among the darkness now, just like his skin.
Why does this remind me of Twilight somehow?
. . . Why the fuck did I watch that movie anyway?!
Oh yeah, movie lover Hero dragged me . . .
“His body is too weak.” YunHo stated, breaking the silence, “The success rate of the surgery on his brain is very slim. Possibly 10% survival after using today’s modern technology.”
Hey, how come he knows about all this science and medical shit while he knows whack about cell phones?
“I like to study science.”
“STOP READING MY MIND!” I bellowed.
Shit, wrong move.
My eyes shot down at the bed. It was moments later that I realised that Hero was in no doubt, unconscious.
When is this little fucker going to wake up?!
I could hear the pale piece of shit chuckling to him due to my reaction.
“Stop laughing prick.” I hissed.
“Sorry, but you’re just so cute when you get worked up like that.”
Do I look like some stupid chick that he can just flirt around with freely?
“Yes.” he smirked.
“Y-You!” I stammered.
If I responded he would only laugh more, he’ll get all the amusement while I’ll feel even more embarrassed. I should just ignore him. The sadistic bastard.
“Aw, BooJae is angry with me.”
Why the fuck is it so cold?
…
WHY THE FUCK IS THIS BASTARD HUGGING ME FROM BEHIND?!
“Mm, you smell like strawberries.” he said after sniffing my hair.
I would react to this by elbowing him in the stomach and make a run for it. But then again, he’s a blood thirsty vampire who can run probably a million miles per hour. Did you even see him move an inch from that spot before I found myself in his arms right now?!
His hands began to grapple onto my arms harder by the minute, as if I was going to run away or he just wants to break me like a fragile piece of glass.
He better not bruise my perfect skin.
The door suddenly busted open.
“YO. YOUNGWOONG! I HEARD THAT YOU-” World marched in with a excited face only to quickly fall into horror after seeing me being hugged onto by YunHo, “OH MY FUCK. WHAT THE FUCK?! FUCK. MY EYES.”
These losers were allowed to make all the noise they wanted yet we couldn’t?
“SHIT. YOUNGWOONG. I THOUGHT YOU WERE STRAIGHT!” HanBang gagged, holding onto the door for support.
“I am straight.” I winced.
“THEN WHO THE FUCK IS THAT DUDE?!” Naru pointed accusingly at the man that was hugging me oh so tightly.
“AND DON’T TELL ME THAT’S A FUCKING GIRL. SINCE WHEN ARE GIRL’S THAT TALL AND HUGE? ARE YOU DATING A BLOODY BODY BUILDER?!” Jerry added.
I could hear YunHo growl deeply into my neck before turning his head to face the 5 that stood in the doorway, glaring at them most likely.
“What the fuck are you glairing for?” CheonWoo courageously took one step in, “YoungWoong, why the fuck did you let a stranger come with you to see Hero? Unless, you know him.”
“You can say that I know him…” I mumbled.
“Is he your fuck buddy? Shit man. I need to put some sense into you boy. I pity you.” World laughed nervously as he walked over me to, trying to laugh the situation off, “How about I take you out clubbing tonight. Come on, I know a place full of hot ladies.”
“Jae isn’t going anywhere tonight.” YunHo hissed at World.
“Back off you ho.”
Great, I think a fight is about to start here.
“Hold on. This is a hospital guys. Take your hatred elsewhere. Think about Hero here.” CheonWoo stated.
Good old CheonWoo. The second one out of here that actually makes sense most of the time. Of course Hero comes first.
World is just a meat head, but don’t tell him that.
“Whatever.” World spat before walking back to the doorway to lean on it.
“So who’s the guy YoungWoong?” CheonWoo questioned me shortly after.
How the fuck do I reply to that?
“I’m someone who knows how to save little Hero here.” YunHo sneered from behind me.
I could feel his chest vibrate from behind, it felt warming yet dangerous. I swear I could just picture fans sinking down into my neck at that moment.
“Oh really? Are you some kind of a doctor?”
“No. But I assure you that this boy here will be fine again after leaving him in my hands.”
I didn’t think this idiot had some idea on how to save Hero. Heck, why is he helping to save Hero? The geezer doesn’t even know Hero.
Don’t tell me he has kindness in him, that’s just not possible. I bet that method to save Hero involves free young blood.
CheonWoo looked down upon Hero, his eyelids half closed, as if thinking over on what YunHo said should be believed.
CheonWoo always treated Hero like his little brother. Then again, Hero is everyone’s little brother, only CheonWoo and him share a much closer bond compared to me and Hero.
I’ve always wanted a brother, sister, or maybe even a cousin around my age to talk to. Sadly my father was a single child. He had no brothers or sisters. Mother died right after giving birth to me, me being the first child, never again was there another child made.
“What do you have in mind to save him? Tell me.” CheonWoo spoke a minute later.
YunHo rubbed his chin against my shoulder, “It’s a secret.”
Oh God, that just sent chills down my spine.
“I’m sure you can trust me.” CheonWoo urged on.
“Very well.” YunHo then unbind himself from me, showing everyone how tall he was by straightening himself up, “I know someone who’s a very good surgeon. Don’t worry, the surgery is on the house.”
Does he realise how much surgery cost these days? Or is he lying? How can he do something like this for free?
“Why? I highly doubt you know Hero.” CheonWoo’s eyes squinted, suspicious of YunHo’s sly nature.
“I may not. But I’m your only hope. The success rate is 99% I can assure you.” YunHo folded his arms.
I could sense the other 4 at the doorway holding their breathes in, remaining silent for once as they stared at YunHo’s glowing body.
Yes, it was glowing. He just had to move into a spot where his body was directly hit by the moonlight. What? Is he trying to make himself look like some ghost?! I do wonder why the others don’t dare to point that out. Unless they’re blind.
A second passed. Then a minute.
“Very well.” CheonWoo heaved a sigh, “You better take good care of Hero.”
An hour passed. The doctors seem to not dare disturb us in Hero’s room, after all it’s gone way past visiting hours. The staff members probably didn’t want to mess with us gangsters.
YunHo of course found himself a comfortable place, in a dark shaded corner, observing us that were huddled around the bed.
“So who’s the dude?” World asked.
“A f-friend.” I forced out.
I swear I could imagine the bastard grin in amusement at that response.
“Really? I thought you hate pales?” Jerry butted in.
“Hey, I have no choice. He’s the only…D-DECENT looking one there.”
If I was Pinocchio my hose would’ve grown probably 10 metres by now.
“So you became friends with him? How close? Close enough to let him hug you so tenderly like that? What, you like him more than us?!” HanBang grilled me on further.
“N-No-”
“Is he gay? He looks like one of those gay bar strippers. I mean GAWD. LOOK AT THOSE TIGHT PANTS GEEZ!” Naru complained, probably forgetting the fact that YunHo was still in the room.
I stole a glance at the vampire, he was smirking, looking like the most amused fuck ever on this planet.
Or maybe he was just imagining us lot as his next dinner.
SHUT UP KIM JAEJOONG. NO JINXING!
“Are we really letting him take Hero away?” Jerry panicked.
“Yes, as long as YoungWoong’s there.” CheonWoo shot me a serious look.
I gulped, “Of course I’ll be there.”
“You better. Hero’s life is on the line here.”
“Oh yeah, forgot to tell you, but we found out the gang that did this to Hero.” World suddenly stated.
Yeah, me and YunHo too. Gosh you guys are slow. Then again they probably didn’t know that I met them already. Although 3 of them didn’t exactly look like the gangster type. Well, personality-wise.
“They’re called Big Bang.”
What kind of a name is that? Our gang name PWNs them! We’ll SMASH those Big Bang jerks.
“While you take care of Hero we’ll be going after this 5 member gang. We’ll be fine so don’t worry. 5 on 5 baby!” HanBang grinned with sheer pleasure as he banged his fists together, his eyes far seeing into the far future, probably imagining him beating the shit out of Big Bang now.
After the 5 of them left, me and YunHo dealt with the papers and shit to let Hero be discharged from hospital and moved elsewhere. And let me tell you, it took one long heck of a time.
YunHo probably had to make up all this fake shit just to get Hero out, saying over 100 times that we know what we’re doing.
It was 6am when we left the hospital, me being tired as shit, and YunHo carrying Hero on his back.
I can’t believe the bastard didn’t prepare a comfy car for us.
"Let's take him back to Mirotic village."
[ 3rd Person P.O.V ]
On the outskirts of Seoul, on a grassy hill under the rising sun, sat 5 men, leaning against rocks. 2 of which were arguing while the other 3 spectated, not bothering to end the ongoing argument that lasted for approximately 6 hours now.
“IT’S ALL YOUR FAULT THAT I’M STILL FUCKING ANGRY RIGHT NOW!” TOP bellowed at the shorter and much more fragile person that sat across him.
“WHAT THE- DON’T BLAME ME. YOU’RE THE ONE MAKING A FUCKING SCENE.” G-Dragon shouted back along with angry hand gestures.
“Aren’t your mouths feeling a little dry at all?” TaeYang sighed.
“SHUT THE FUCK UP TAEYANG. STAY OUT OF THIS!” the two said in unison.
“Geez, I’m just worrying about you guys…”
Suddenly a gust of wind lashed out at once. Messing up the hair of each person, the bushes and tree leaves rustled franticly, summoning the presence of a hooded stranger.
“What are you doing here for? Shouldn’t you be up there or with the old man?” TaeYang said after the wind settled.
The figure cloaked in white remained still and silent. It’s hair was long silky and white as snow, it’s face shrouded over by the shadow formed by the hood blocking out the sun’s rays.
“New orders?” G-Dragon suggested.
“No,” the figure spoke in an echo-y voice, “Just wondering why you’re arguing.”
“Are you that bored?”
The figure shrugged slowly, “I suppose.”
“Heaven must be hard for you huh?” Top scoffed.
“Enough about that. I’m interested in knowing why you guys are arguing so much. The old man doesn’t like civil feuds.”
“Indeed he doesn’t.” DaeSung added, bobbing his head up and down along with SeungRi’s.
G-Dragon just turned his head away, acting less pissed off than before, “Just some guy.”
“Fighting over a guy now huh? Could you possibly be-”
“No, he pissed us off with some pure blood vampire. Accusing us of being some kind of criminals. Well, we were the ones that attacked the kid but hey, we apologised!” Top complained.
“So who’s the guy’s name? Want me to do some vengeance?” the figure laughed half-heartedly.
“Yeah, go ahead, I can’t be arsed to do shit about a human bastard like him. He’s some feminine looking guy called Kim JaeJoong.”
The figure was about to reply until the name clicked in it’s mind.
Kim JaeJoong, such a familiar name. . . now where have I heard of it before?
