[ Jung YunHo’s P.O.V. ]

Why did he leave? Was I being too pushy? Too straight forward?

I hope no one bites him while on campus, if anyone does, I will never forgive them. I will wring their necks till their spines break and drain all their blood.
Kim JaeJoong is my target, I saw him first, and he is mines only.

You must be thinking, why didn’t I follow him?

Well, just when I was about to ShinDong happened to block my way.

“So I see that you already met him.” he smirked.

“Oh shut up.” I said as I pushed him out of my way.

“Are you happy that I didn’t kill him back then now?” he called out to me.

I carried on walking, my eyes focused onto the small and almost disappearing body that belonged to my target.

“Oh, and I have Keita’s whereabouts.”

My feet froze as I came to a halt before my body spun around to face ShinDong who was leaning against the classroom door, looking amused.

“Of course I’m happy that you didn’t drink him till dry already.” I said sarcastically as I stormed back up to him, taking him by the collar, surprising him, “Now tell me where that son of a bitch is.” I hissed down at the plump and slightly frightened guy.

I guess my eyes looked red and were about to pop out any moment, this sort of thing scared the hell out of people a lot.

“C-Come with me.” he stuttered as I let him down.

Completely forgetting about JaeJoong, I followed ShinDong down various corridors. My mind was occupied with plans on how to deal with Keita Furuya. An ex-pure blood vampire. He has no shame.

We entered into the student body room to find other members of the student body already there, waiting for our arrival. I thought I was the only one who was to take care of Keita’s situation, we all agreed on it.

“You came.” SiWon smiled devilishly at me as I walked past him towards my seat.

“YAH! What took you so long?” HeeChul flailed in his seat, “I swear I’ve been waiting for centuries for you!”

I shot HeeChul a stern look before turning to face SiWon, “Control your lover, please.”

SiWon only replied with a snort before draping his arms over HeeChul to pull him onto his chest. Luckily, it shut HeeChul up in an instant.

The student body was made up of pure bloods and aristocrats, well to be more exact, everyone in this room apart from me were aristocrats, I‘m the only pure blood in this entire building. No one else was allowed in here, not even the common vampire or ex-vampire. We even set up barriers to stop them from entering. Why? Because there were things that we pure bloods and aristocrats know but others didn’t, we plan to keep it that way.

“I thought I was taking care of Furuya.” I frowned.

“Well, it looked like you didn’t manage to find out about his whereabouts at the same time we did.” KangIn replied, “Also, you only found Furuya because me and HeeChul told you where he was.”

“Yeh, thanks for that…” I said dryly.

“Cheer up YunHo, we’re helping you now.” YooChun added in, “At least be grateful for it.” he grimaced.

“So, news of Keita?” I said impatiently as I leaned back onto my seat, ignoring what YooChun had just said.

“He was spotted back in Jeju this morning.” JongHun threw a stack of pictures onto the table towards me, the Polaroid photo’s contained a dark and tall figure walking around familiar areas of Jeju City, “It wasn’t easy looking for him at all.”

“That’s why we hired that Lee HongKi.” MinHwan, JongHun’s younger brother, added in, “He took most of those pictures.”

These two, the Choi brothers, are the student body’s best spies, they always managed to get at least five pieces of information a day to share to us.
Lee HongKi was the human that they used to help them in their spying, their personal human photographer. I do wonder sometimes how they manage to get HongKi to do their dirty work when JongHun pesters him day in day out, and when HongKi seems to hate JongHun with passion.

Taking the photos into my hands, I flicked through them one by one, examining each photo quickly before moving onto the next. I had no time to sit around and examine with care.

“Looks like he’s staying at the Jeju Plaza Hotel.” I murmured as I scanned through the images of Keita exiting a hotel, moving onto the restaurant pictures, a familiar looking girl appeared in them, his girlfriend, “And that bitch is with him at the Forgotten Season restaurant.”

“That bitch has a name you know.” LeeTeuk commented, “Kim HyeWoo.”

My heard turned sharply at LeeTeuk’s direction, “What are you being so defensive for huh?”

“I’m just saying.” he shrugged with a low whisper, before retreating into KangIn’s arms.

After I looked at the last picture, where he and HyeWoo were heading back to the hotel just an hour ago, I got up from my seat and headed towards the window.

“See you later guys.” I said before transforming into a bat and flying out of the window.

None of them dared to question where I was going. No, let me rephrase that, they already knew where I was heading off to.

[ Kim JaeJoong P.O.V. ]

I am so glad that that Jung YunHo wasn’t there when I returned back to class.

EunHyuk and DongHae were already back in their seats, ignoring me still. I was just about to approach them when Yamapai sensei scurried back in doing his tie wearing a half undone shirt.

When the lunch bell rang I didn’t bother to look for EunHyuk and DongHae, I bet that they had already left the classroom for no apparent reason. Great friends aren’t they? It’s my first day and none of these people would volunteer to help take me to the lunch room!
Then again, I have been told that I had a cold and distant face, making me feel intimidating to talk to. Wonderful.

Upon stepping out of the classroom I could hear a familiar voice shout out my name from the end of the corridor.

“JAEJOONG!”

It was Shim ChangMin.

“Canteen?” he asked as he jogged up to me with an enthusiastic smile.

“Er, yeah.” I said before he hooked my arm with his and began to drag me down the corridor, at a rapid pace, “What’s the rush?”

“They‘re serving soy sauce chicken today!” he proclaimed happily as we turned a corner.

“I‘m sure there‘ll still be enough chicken for everyone.”

He grunted, “There’s this kid called Choi MinHwan who always gets to the canteen before anyone else everyday and takes every single chicken from the kitchen!”

Whoa, I’m expecting that this Choi MinHwan is fairly obese over the large portions of chicken. He might be the size of my own mansion back in Seoul.

“How can a kid eat that much?” I asked in shock.

“He only can eat that much with chicken.” ChangMin remarked as we turned yet another corner, this time into a less crowded corridor, “I can beat him in any eating competition as long as it’s not chicken based.”

“What?”

“I can eat 7 bowls of rice a day.” he said proudly before pushing the double doors to reveal the canteen.

Before I could even respond to what ChangMin had said, my eyes laid upon the pile of chicken that was stacked high onto a tray that was on a table in the middle of the room.
ChangMin’s response to this wasn’t positive at all. Instead he just broke down into tears.

“NOOOOOOOO!” he cried out as he fell down to his knees, hands grabbing onto the tufts of his soft dark brown hair.

“Calm down, it’s just chicken.” I said bluntly, not caring about the weeping man that was kneeling down on the floor next to me.

“SOY SAUCE CHICKEN!” he corrected me in a pissed off tone before returning to his emo state.

“Yeah, well, I’m sure that I can make you this soy sauce chicken everyday if you wanted me to.” I said before ChangMin’s head turned and lifted upwards to look at me with hopeful and teary eyes.

“Really?” he said in disbelief before gasping with joy.

Before he could get anymore ideas, I quickly added, “And if I’m bothered to make it for you or even have free time.”

“Oh…that’s too bad…” he said as he dropped his head back down to face the floor.

Minutes later, after ChangMin managed to pull himself together from the terrible loss of his beloved soy sauce chicken, we headed over to the line to get our food, passing the pile of chicken. ChangMin’s eyes were fixed onto that pile of sweet smelling chicken before it landed on the smaller kid that ate happily away at it. Weird, this kid didn’t look like the size of my mansion. He was pale with bleached blonde hair, what a weird combination, he’s the only pale person that I’ve seen with coloured hair so far.

After we got our food, we headed over to the table that was the furthest away from the one that now had half the amount of chicken that I just saw minutes ago.

“ChangMin-ah!” I heard someone then yell from nearby.

Spinning around in my seat, I saw two guys heading towards us; those two guys were part of the pale group. One of them looked like one of those emo kids, only that his hair looked like a lopsided bowl cut along with a curtain fringe. The other next to him was slightly shorter, a lot more feminine looking and had the S line.

“Oh, I see you got a new friend here!” the shorter one beamed an angelic smile at me, “Introduce us!”

“This here,” ChangMin placed a hand on my right shoulder, “Is Kim JaeJoong, a new student from Seoul.”

“Omo! Seoul! That’s where I came from!” the short guy jumped up and down in happiness.

“The currently hyped one is Kim JunSu.” ChangMin then pointed at the short one before pointing at the emo looking one, “And this is Park YooChun.”

“Hi.” I said gingerly.

I wasn’t exactly interested in making friends with pale freaks; the pale people here seemed to have some sort of foreboding air about them. But I guess these two are an exception since they knew ChangMin.

YooChun nodded before silently slipping into the seat in front of ChangMin while JunSu placed himself in front of me with a big grin on his face.

“So…” YooChun said after taking a sip of his water, “Welcome to Yaoi High.”

“Erm thanks…but I’d like to ask, what does Yaoi mean?”

Silence then filled in before the three burst into fits of laughter. Did I say something wrong?

“Heh, didn’t you learn Japanese?” ChangMin laughed.

I shook my head.

“Read any manga?” JunSu then asked.

I shook my head again.

“Yaoi is Japanese for erotic men on men action.” YooChun replied simply with a smirk.

My throat was suddenly clogged up by the chip that I was swallowing, causing me to choke and splutter.

“You okay?” ChangMin asked as he patted my back.

“Thanks.” I rasped while trying to make sure what I heard was right, “So, does that mean…everyone here is…gay?”

What I just asked caused YooChun to chuckle a little.

“No, some choose to not stick to the gay rule, but a majority of this school is made up of gays, some are just bi-curious, still finding their way.”

Okay, so there’s a possibility that there is only a few of us straight guys in this entire school, some may be bi-curious. I’m not homophobic, but I sure don’t want to be gay.

Suddenly, from the corner of my eye, I noticed EunHyuk and DongHae starting to walk over to my direction, towards our table, without saying a word, just happy expressions on their face. I wonder what they’re up to, up until now they had been treating me like air, and now they decide to stop treating me like an invisible person?

“What the fuck has been going on with you two all day?!” I spat as they were just a few meters away from the table.

JunSu and YooChun averted their attention away from their food to look up at the two. Immediately, the mood changed. EunHyuk and DongHae looked absolutely horrified and began to start backing away at the sight of those two; did they look that ugly that you had to leave like that? Were they afraid of YooChun and JunSu?

“EunHyuk…” JunSu whispered, “DongHae, don’t go…”

It was too late; they were already starting to increase their pace and eventually ran out of the room in a hurry.

“What’s up with them?” I asked JunSu while pointing at the door with my thumb.

He gave me one look before looking back down at this food with a heavy sigh, not even bothering to answer. His face darkened, that smile disappeared so did his happiness. It seemed like as if EunHyuk and DongHae sucked all the happiness away from JunSu.
Something’s up, and being the nosy bitch that I am, I want to find out.

“YooChun, explain?”

“We’ll tell you when the time comes.” he grinned.

When the time comes? I wonder when that would be…

[ 3rd Person ]

“I’ll be back after my shower. So stay right here.” Kim HyeWoo smiled as she prodded the tip of Keita’s nose.

Furuya Keita nodded as he watched his fiancée skip down into the bathroom of the hotel room that they stayed in.

Nothing can be more perfect that this, he thought. He had an amazing girlfriend that was soon to become his wife, he had finished his year’s worth of traveling around the world with her, and they were both rich. The future was never bleak for them, or so they thought.

He sat up from the bed and looked across the room, through the large window he could see the perfect view of the dark grey sky, which looked as if it was about to rain at any moment.

“Looks like we would have to cancel our city tour.” he murmured.

Getting up from the bed, he walked over to the window and pressed the side of his cheek against it, feeling the cold window pane touch against his skin, the cold that used to be part of him, back when he was a pure blood vampire.

“ChangMin…” he whispered.

Suddenly, something came colliding onto the window, right at Keita’s cheek, sending him flying across the room onto the wall.
Shards of glass flew everywhere around the room, some even managed to scratch Keita’s soft skin.

“Keita.” he heard someone say roughly.

“W-Who’s that?” Keita rubbed his eyes to try focus on the dark figure that sat on the glassless window frame.

“Keita? Keita? What’s going on out there?” HyeWoo called from inside the bathroom, still showering, yet she could hear the ruckus that went on outside.

The figure lifted up an arm, pointing towards the door to the bathroom, and then making a flick sign with his index finger the door became locked.

“Oh Keita, you should know who I am.” the figure walked over to him before kneeling down to take a closer look, “Don’t you remember? Or has that bitch brainwashed you?”

“J-Jung? Jung YunHo?” Keita stammered as his eyes came into focus.

“I see that you’re pretty cozy with this HyeWoo girl, so tell me, what’s it like to fall for a human girl while giving up your status as a pure blood huh?”

Keita remained silent as he tried to sweep off the shards of glass off his body.

“Answer me then!” YunHo roared into Keita’s ear as he yanked him by the collar, “Come on!”

“Oh, I don’t know how to say it.” Keita shrugged slightly under YunHo’s hold, “It’s…sweet.” he smirked.

“Sweet my ass. How the fuck can you forget about ChangMin so easily after a year huh?” YunHo spat onto Keita’s face.

“I just can.” he used his sly smirk again, “HyeWoo’s so much better than ChangMin.”

Something about that line caused Keita’s mind to feel uneasy, as if what he said wasn’t certain.

YunHo’s nostrils flared up as he leaned in closer, taking Keita by the neck, tempted to strangle him.

“You. You made a promise with ChangMin that you will turn him into a vampire one day and keep him by your side forever.” he then looked at the bathroom door before returning back to Keita’s face, “Instead you pick a bitch like her over ChangMin, what kind of sicko are you?!”

Keita’s face dulled slightly as he tore his eyes off YunHo’s penetrating ones, looking anywhere else apart from the vampire’s face.

“If you like ChangMin so much why don’t you just go ahead and get him?” Keita said with a sullen voice, “I know that you still have a special place for him deep within your heart, why don’t you go and open it up for him?”

“Sorry, but I already moved on, I only treat ChangMin as a dear younger brother instead of just a piece of trash.” YunHo lied as he gradually let go of Keita’s neck.

“So why are you here for?” Keita asked as he rubbed the front of his neck.

“Here to tell you that poor old ChangMin can’t forget about you. He couldn’t move on like I did. All he can think about is you!” YunHo jabbed his finger at Keita’s chest every time he said “you“.

“And what are you going to do about it?”

“I’ll make your life a living hell, that’s what.”

YunHo got up from his crouching position to turn back into a bat and fly out of the wrecked room.

It looks like my future is facing some obstacles right now, Keita thought. YunHo was serious.

He then heard the door click, HyeWoo stumbled into the glass shard covered room, looking around frantically for Keita.

“Keita! What happened?!” she cried out as she ran over to her beloved, not caring about the shards of glass that cut against the bottom of her feet.

“Nothing to worry about…” Keita whispered before falling into unconsciousness, due to the lack of blood.

Hours later, after YunHo had visited Keita, he visited the local club for some drinks, to cure him of all his woes and reopened wounds. Just talking to Keita reminded him of the past in an instant.

He knew that a small part of his heart was still especially reserved for ChangMin still; he didn’t want to admit it, but he knew it was there.

The pain increased within in him after every shot.

When school ended and everyone were on their way home, ChangMin happened to bump into someone along the way, seemingly half sober under the setting sun.

“YunHo…” ChangMin stared at the man that seemed to be dragging his legs towards him.

“Hey.” YunHo smiled wryly as he carried on walking.

When Yunho brushed past ChangMin, ChangMin could smell the strong scent of alcohol radiating from YunHo, he knew he has been drinking.

“You saw Keita today, didn’t you?” ChangMin asked softly, not daring to look back at YunHo.

YunHo froze to the spot, surprised that ChangMin happened to know that he visited Keita today to give him some warnings.

“Huh? How did you know?” YunHo asked, dumbfounded.

ChangMin shot him a reassuring smile, “You drink every time after you see Keita.”

“Oh…”

The sound of birds chirping soon filled into the silence soon after, an awkward silence as they tried to avoid each others gaze.

“YunHo hyung, it’s okay, I’ve given up on Keita.”

The older one looked up to see ChangMin’s face for any hints of seriousness, but it was never found, ChangMin was indeed, lying.

“Bullshit. I know you still have a soft spot for him!” YunHo spat, “Just like I still do with you!” he blurted out.

“Okay, so what if I still like him huh? You can’t stop me from liking him! No one can!” ChangMin began to shout in anger at the half drunk vampire in front of him, “I don’t want you to bring him back to me YunHo! I’m fine watching him being happy with his fiancée! As long as he is happy then I’m happy!”

Tears began to fall from ChangMin’s eyes as an image of Keita flashed into his mind at that very moment, the very first time since a week ago. He tried so hard to forget, he almost managed a week until now.
And that particular image had to be the scene when Keita declared that he was breaking up with him for Kim HyeWoo.

“It hurts you know, it hurts me to see you still yearning for that bloody son of a bitch.” YunHo said as he ran his hand through his hair, “I still like you Shim ChangMin.”
