And this was originally meant to be one whole chapter - ChangMin's past. But it went on for like 18 pages on word - Times New Roman, size 12. So I splitted it into 2 :D
VanillaIcex3 – Omo don’t kill Keita! He’s ChangMin’s lover D;
Ju Young >.< - Well, temporary YunMin, don’t worry! It will end up as YunJae! And hehe, you just gave me an idea :D
Miki – To be honest, you won’t see a dramatic change in my style of writing xD It’s just that I realized that I dragged on some paragraphs, making them longer than necessary.
Shirley – LOL Twilight x] Still waiting for that book to come to me from the library xD And yeah, lots of male characters :D <3
Now here’s a flashback-y P.O.V. Going to try my best to make it as fluffy as possible!

[ Shim ChangMin P.O.V. ]
I dreamt something last night. The night after my encounter with the drunken YunHo, I dreamt about my past, the past that I spent with Keita Furuya…
4 years ago, just weeks after Yaoi High was built I was a new student, or to be exact, one of the many new students that enrolled into that school.
To be honest, I was scared at first; I was surrounded by these pale teenagers who looked Godly yet cold, were they all ill? Their complexions were flawless; they were breathtaking and beautiful.
While my eyes scanned through the sea of pales that surround me, I noticed this one boy that had his eyes locked onto me. He was tall, manly and at the same time quite cute, the expression that he looked at me with was absolutely unforgettable, that smile on his face that seemed to make me forget that he was extremely pale.
After the headmaster of the school ended his speech, we all dispersed from the hall, heading to our designated classrooms.
When I reached to my classroom I saw that same extremely pale guy, sitting at the back of the classroom. His face brightened up at my appearance.
“Hi.” He shot me his gorgeous smile that sent my heart slightly thumping.
What is going on with me? I thought.
“H-Hi.” I replied nervously as I took a seat at the front row.
I was too shy to talk or go anywhere near to such a God-like guy.
Then I heard the sound of a moving chair from the back of the room, shortly after, footsteps came trailing into my ears.
My heart thumped as he got nearer and nearer.
“Jung YunHo.” He said as he placed his hand out towards me.
I took it to feel an instant icy shot dart up my arm, it made the ends of my hair stand up. This guy was cold, freezing cold, as cold as a freezer.
“Shim ChangMin.” I said while trying to hold back my chattering teeth.
As weeks passed my friendship with YunHo became closer and closer every passing day. We both were different, but that was never an obstacle in our friendship, we were interested in each others hobbies.
Despite our status in the school, him being KingKa and little old me being just a normal nerdy student, no one objected to our friendship, which was weird really. Back in Seoul where I came from, the Kingka’s were always hanging out with their own kind, they never lingered with us smart alecks.
This school was different. Well in a way. Everyone around me looked like Kingka’s yet they were so friendly towards me, always offering to help when YunHo wasn’t there.
How I wish that every school in the world was like this, no division in popularity.
I also found out that YunHo was the son of the headmaster of this school, his father built Yaoi High.
Just after the first term ended, a new student arrived at our school from Japan, his name was Keita Furuya. Another pale guy.
And on that very day YunHo just had to be absent for no apparent reason.
“ChangMin, since you’re the only one who knows the most Japanese here, how about you help Keita around this school?” the teacher asked me after Keita introduced himself as well as stating that he had no knowledge of how to speak Koran at all.
“Sure.” I smiled at Keita.
Once break time came, I took the chance to communicate with Keita with my basic Japanese.
“Hello, nice to meet you, I’m Shim ChangMin.” I smiled as I waved at him.
He waved back with a super cute smile, “Nice to meet you too.”
“Do you know any Korean?” I asked.
He chuckled before speaking in perfect Korean, “Yes, quite a lot actually.”
As Keita began to talk about himself in perfect Korean, I sat still in my seat, baffled that this guy managed to convince everyone that he didn’t know Korean at all. Luckily the teacher left the class, otherwise this guy would’ve been in big trouble.
There was something special about this guy, the way he talked, his hint of beautiful Japanese accent within his voice as he spoke, the way his lips moved, everything about him was so alluring.
“ChangMin?”
The soft voice broke my train of thoughts, snapping me out of my trance.
“Huh? Yeah? Sorry.”
“Such a dope.” He laughed, “Anyway, as I was saying, I was wondering if you can take me out to tour around Mirotic Village one day, and maybe even better, Jeju City!”
“Oh, of course, I’ll be glad to show you around!”
The very next day, YunHo came back to school, he never told me why he was absent the day before. He just simple brushed off my question.
When Keita came into the classroom I took the chance on introducing him to YunHo.
“YunHo! Come over here and meet our new friend!” I called from the doorway, where Keita leaned on shyly.
It was odd that Keita was acting shy all of the sudden, was he shy of meeting YunHo? Did he get the same thing I got when I first met YunHo?
YunHo made his way over to the door to greet Keita.
“YunHo, this is Keita Furuya, Keita, this is Jung YunHo.” I said excitedly.
Expecting them to exchange a handshake or something, I got an awkward silence instead.
Keita looked nervous and scared as looked down to his feet and fidgeted a little. My eyes then traveled to YunHo, his face turned slowly from shock to pure anger.
“What’s wrong YunHo?” I asked worriedly.
“It’s Keita FURUYA right?” YunHo said fiercely as his eyes seemed to pierce through Keita.
“Yeah and?” I replied for Keita who remained silent.
YunHo leaned forward to grab Keita by the arm, roughly pulling on it before pushing me to the side to make way for him to drag Keita down the corridor.
“YunHo!” I called out to him, hoping that he would stop and turn to face me, but he never did, he just carried on walking, ignoring me.
Did those two know each other? Were they enemies from years ago?
Since my two friends were walking off without me, I decided to follow them, wanting to know what’s going on, without permission, without even thinking twice. I didn’t care that I was going to be late to lesson or not, I just wanted to know why YunHo got so angry at Keita for.
Minutes later, I found myself placing an ear against a wooden door, trying to hear what the two were saying to each other in the empty room.
“What the fuck are you doing here for?” I heard YunHo’s angry yet muffled voice boom out from inside.
Then came Keita‘s voice, “What? Is it illegal for me to enroll here?”
“No, but you are not welcomed here!”
“What? Why?”
“You bloody know well enough why!”
The came a short silence.
“Oh, is it because my old man set up a curse on your old man‘s school?”
A curse? I wonder what curse he’s talking about…Wait, no one told me that there was a curse in the school, how did his dad set a curse in this place? What curse is it?!
“Well guess what YunHo, I don’t like my father, I already ran away from home, away from him to live an independent life.” Keita said with more confidence now, “Don’t blame me for the curse, I have nothing to do with that stupid curse!”
What? Keita never told me that he ran away from home.
“And you expect me to believe that?!”
“Haven’t you seen the news lately? It’s all over the headlines!”
The news? I’ve been reading the newspapers and surfing the news pages every day and I don’t see one mention of Keita’s family name…
“Okay, so whatever, I don’t want to see you do anything fishy okay?”
“Oh, like taking little ChangMinnie away from you?” Keita said in a teasing voice.
What? Why is he talking about me all of the sudden for?
“How do you-”
“I am the same rank as you, remember?”
“Rank?” I murmured.
Suddenly, I heard footsteps sound towards the door that I leant on to eavesdrop, and before I knew it, the door opened, causing me to fall down in front of YunHo’s shoes.
“Ow.” I cried out in pain.
“ChangMin, what are you doing here for?” YunHo said in a shocked tone, “How much of that did you hear?”
I didn’t want to answer that, if I did, I would sound like a terrible friend.
Anyway, how did he manage to hear my low mumble? There were still a couple of students outside of their classrooms making noises at the corridors, how can they hear me still? Did they have supersonic hearing?
Keita then came running over to my side, helping me up, “You okay?”
“Yeah..” I said softly, still rubbing the side of my arm that I fell on.
“What kind of a friend are you YunHo? Who cares if ChangMin eavesdrops on our conversation? He’s our friend right? He deserves to know everything about his.” he smirked.
It seemed that YunHo didn’t like that smirk of his, since YunHo only responded with a slight scowl.
I don’t know why, but that very line that Keita just said sparked suspicion within me, it sounded like they were hiding something from me. I mean, Keita never told me that he ran away from his father and that his father placed a curse on this school, heck I didn’t even know about the curse! And I had completely no idea what sort of media they were talking about that had Keita’s family name all over it. There’s so much that these two haven’t told me about yet.
Days passed, then weeks, then months. Every passing day I had to deal with my two friends who were constantly arguing, YunHo was as bad tempered as ever and Keita was as sly as ever. Their personalities changed, YunHo’s cute and calm friendly appearance disappeared and so did Keita’s warm and lovable nature, I missed their old selves. Or maybe this is what they were truly like.
“ChangMin, I won’t be in school for a few months…” YunHo spoke softly to me one rainy day in school.
“Why?”
“I need to go somewhere with my dad…”
His face was miserable, he seemed tired and weak, I felt like hugging him.
But before I can even do it I felt an arm drape across my shoulders.
“What’s with the long face?” Keita said cheerfully as he examined YunHo’s almost emotionless face.
Expecting YunHo to maybe scowl or even say something insulting to Keita like he always did, all he did was remained silent before heaving a long sigh.
“I don’t have the energy to argue with you okay?” he said before walking down the corridor, the last time that I saw him until 3 months passed.
During those 3 months, I completely forgot about it. Well, during the first week of YunHo’s absence, I couldn’t help but miss him everyday, but eventually, I forgot about him, all because of Keita.
We grew close, really close. He was the pushy one, not me. He started to act really nice to me, like as if I was a fragile being, or an injured puppy, he couldn’t stop touching me, not in a rude way though. It was like as if our friendship had taken to the next level.
Whenever he hugged, touched or shot me one his most cutest smiles, it always sent my heart pumping, back then I thought I was turning gay. Well, until I decided to hit the porn sites again.
When the day came where me and Keita set off on tour around Mirotic Village, along with the local hills that had the most breath taking views ever when at the very top.
“This is amazing! Sugoi!” Keita shrieked in sheer happiness as we got to the very top of the highest hill, the one with the best scenery.
This hill was high enough to let anyone see Mirotic Village and Jeju City from a far distance. If one was looking for stars to look at, Mirotic Village’s scenery was the one to look at, if you fancied some artificial multi colored lights, the Jeju City was the place for you to look at. We both chose to watch both, taking turns.
Did I mention that it was now night time? 10pm.
“ChangMin-ah! Thank you for taking me to such a wonderful place!” he said happily before flinging his arms around me, pulling me into a long hug.
His body was just as cold as YunHo’s, it was like being in a freezer. I got used to this to be honest, I don’t know how, but I just did. And again, this hug sent my heart thumping like mad within me,
“I love you so much ChangMin…” he murmured into my ear.
It sent chills up my spine. I hoped that he meant it in a friendly way. But oddly, my heart bumped even harder and louder in response. What did this mean?
Before I even realised it, Keita had already pulled away from the embrace to set his lips upon mines, brushing against it softly at first before sending his tongue down into my mouth like lightning.
“Mmph!” was all the noise I could make.
My hands risen to meet his chest, I tried my best to push him away, but it was futile. His arms were strong, they were tightly wrapped around my waist, pulling me close to his leather jacket and pants.
After a few more struggles, I gave in, I let his ice-like tongue invade my warm and welcoming mouth freely.
My first kiss, stolen by a boy.
A minute passed, I don’t know how, but I managed to survive a minute without as much oxygen in me, Keita’s mouth just wouldn’t part with mines at all. The experience was freaky.
Moments later, I found myself enveloped under Keita’s body.
Once another minute passed, he finally broke the connection, leaving us both panting for air as our foreheads met with each other.
“What was all that about?” I said each word in between pants, my eyes trying to avoid his gaze.
He snickered, “Can’t you see that I like you?”
“No…”
“I thought you were smart ChangMin.” he pouted, “I fell for you ever since I met you, it was love at first sight.”
“You did?” I asked in complete shock.
“Hell yeah, I was worried if your boyfriend was YunHo at first, since on my first day you kept mentioning about him at least once every lesson!”
Did I mention about YunHo that much?
He then dropped down to the floor and leaned back, throwing his head back to look up at the sky, using his hands and arms to support his upper body.
I followed, sitting down in front of him.
“Anyway,” Keita carried on as he ran his hands through his hair, eyes fixed up at the dark starry night sky, “I have a feeling that YunHo likes you just as much as I do as well.”
“What?”
“You’re such a dope.” he chuckled as he tilted his head forward a bit to see me, “Can’t you tell that he likes you? Every time I sit really close to you, every time you pay more attention to me not him, he would always wear that dark and daunting face of his!”
He was right, I did notice that YunHo seemed really burdened every time Keita was around me, especially when he was forgotten. I feel bad.
“So, question,” he said as he leaned forward again, his head just centimeters away from mines before caressing my cheeks with both his hands, “Do you like me?”
I stiffened. I didn’t know what to say to him. Yes or a no?
Before I could even say the words “I don’t know” his lips managed to capture mines again, for the second time in my life.
My eyes closed instinctively as I let his tongue gain entrance into my mouth again before kissing back. I completely forgot the fact that I wanted to remain straight and avoid kissing this boy again.
Heck, recalling what he looked like that night, he was indeed hot and to die for. Wearing the most tightest leather jacket and pants I had ever seen, outlining his hidden muscles and manly body, I dare anyone to say that he is not hot and not want to kiss him.
Strangely, my arms began to move upwards, hanging themselves onto his neck, pulling him down, deepening the kiss,
I felt his mouth turn into a smirk against my now plump lips.
“So you do like me…” he said once we pulled away from our kiss that sent us sprawled against the cushiony grass.
This guy was amazing. I don’t know how he did it, but he managed to make me moan a couple of times during our sensual kiss just seconds ago as he pinned me down onto the soft grass and let his hands roam freely around my body.
My face was completely flustered as I gasped for air, not bothering to answer his question.
I was glad that he didn’t pursue the question, but then again I wasn’t pleased that the next thing he did was lean down to let his mouth suck on my neck, causing me to let out a long moan from pleasure. And before I knew it, I could feel something sharp plunge into my neck.
Since when did he have fangs?
Could it be my pleasured mind that had sent me into hallucinations that Keita was now sucking blood out of my neck like vampires do?
“Keita…” I rasped.
He then pulled away, letting the blood drip onto my clothes, leaving a bloody mess all over my neck.
“W-What are you?” I stuttered as my eyes widened at the view of Keita under the moonlight, with blood all over his mouth, not to mention these sharp pointy white dagger like teeth that glistened in blood that was hanging from the top of his mouth.
“Take a guess.” he said as he licked the remaining blood from his mouth.
“V-Vampire?”
Then he leaned down to my neck again as I froze, terrified at what he would do next. His tongue then began to lick all parts of my neck where the blood was left on.
“Bingo.” he whispered.
He was a vampire all this time? Why didn’t he tell me?!
And vampires exist?!
Then it hit me.
“Everyone in the school are…v-vampires?” I stammered, “Is that why everyone is so pale and cold?”
“You got that right.” he said once he cleaned my neck.
All this time, I had been surrounded by vampires and I haven’t noticed. I should’ve known when I saw the pale sea on the very first day. I should’ve known when I touched any part of these pale people’s icy skin. I should’ve known that the reason that they were being so nice to me was to only sniff my human blood.
I then let sudden tears fall from my eye sockets, I felt so betrayed.
“What are you crying about?” he said with a worried expression.
“Y-You…you and YunHo…my closest friends…never told me that you were vampires…” I said in between small hiccups, “Why?”
“Because,” he said before wiping a tear away from my face, “We didn’t want to hurt you. And also, they forbidden us from letting any human know that vampires were on campus, until the human found out themselves without any of the vampires spilling it out.”
“A-Are they going to wipe out my memories now?”
“No.” he said before placing a gentle kiss on my forehead, “They won’t, because I won’t let them. And most importantly, because I love you with all my life.”
