Ed: So...you're really leaving?
Gill: Yes. The sooner the better. I can't forgeet what happened here if I don't leave this place, Ed.
Ed: (smiled) It's a good choice. (silent) I'll miss you, Gill.
Gill: (smiled) Me, too.
Ed: Would you mind giving me a good bye kiss, sweety? (Gillian smiled and looked down at her feet) It's alright if you don...
Gillian walked up to Ed and kissed him on the lips, and Ed kissed her back.

[Gillian's POV]
It has been 6 years since my departure, and Jen has left us for 6 years. Life without Jen is a bit quieter. Is it a good thing or what? Pop passed away last year, shortly after I graduated university. Yet, I didn't attend his funeral and see him for one last time. I told mom that I wasn't ready to go back to Hong Kong yet.
Occassionally I dream of Jen. She was always that same old happy little child telling me how wonderful her place is. Yet she always tells me, "You still got a long way till you get to visit me and Grandma!" Oh, how I wish Jen was still here.
Shortly after I got back to Hong Kong, I re-visit places that I always go in my freshmen year in high school. I know some of my classmates are still in college. It took me quite fast to get through college. Maybe that's because I have no life at all in the states.
I went to Jen's school and my school. Our old ouse was occupied by a newly wedded couple. They just moved in recently. They were the 4th family since we left. Niki's parents' bistro moved to a bigger, nicer mall, and they were quite successful right now. Michelle met a wonderful guy. Well, at least that's what she told me. Tavia went to study aboard in England, trying to get a master degree, and she was having fun there last time I called her. She met this guy who looked like Aaron Kwok, her idol and crush when she was younger. Everyone seemed to be rather happy.
Somehow I ended up in front of Ed's house's door. Nothing seemed to have change in this building. That security guard was that same old guard who let anyone into the building. I kept wondering if Ed and Shan Shan moved.

Ding Dong. A girl about 18 opened the door and looked curiously at Gillian.
Girl: Hey.
Gill: Hi. Um, I was wondering if Edison Chen is here?
Girl: (sounded a bit surprise) Ed? He just went to get something. Wanna come in and wait for him?
Gill: It's alright.
[Gill's POV]
That must be Ed's new girlfriend. Yet she looked awfully familiar! Maybe she was one of my classmates?? Oh well.
I left the building and went to the mall I used to hang out with Niki and the others. Window shopping could be rather fun, but somehow I kept on thinking about Ed. As I passed by a toy shop, I stared at a barbie doll on display that Jen had always wanted. A guy was standing next to me but I was too deep in remembering how long it took me to save all my money to get Jen that doll. As I turned to leave, I stole a glance at the guy standing next to me. Apparently he turned to my way too.

They just stood looking at each other. They both smiled. Gillian looked down at her feet as Edison put his bags of things down.
Ed: I was just wondering when you would return. Met your brother earlier this year. He said you weren't ready to come back at that time.
Gillian smiled sweetly and nodded. Edison hugged her really tightly.
Ed: Do you how much I miss you, Gillian Chung?
Gill: I don't think so, Ed. I think I miss you more than you did.
Ed: No. I can sleep without thinking about you each night, Gill. Believe me, Gill. I have never love a girl like you this much.
Gill: (teasingly) The who's that girl in your hosue?
Ed: (they pulled away and they were looking at each other and Ed chuckled) Oh, isn't Shan Shan beautiful now? She's so pretty that you're jealous of her, huh?!
Gill: Why would I be jealous of her?
Ed: Because you thought she was my girlfriend right?
(Gillian hugged Edison.)
Ed: (whispered into Gillian's ear) I love you, Gill. I've done everything you asked me to. I never play a single joke on anyone anymore nor did I play around with girls. I just wanna let you know I love you, Gill. The only one I love is you, Gillian Chung.
Gillian surprised Ed by pushing him away. He thought Gill still didn't like him and he was somewhat sad for a split second. Ed, astonished, recieved a sweet kiss on the lips from Gillian, and Gill, with her hands wrapped tightly around Ed's waist, almost suffocated Ed.
Gill: No. You're lying Edison Chen! Don't you love your sister too? So, I'm not the only one you love in this world.
Ed: Gill! you know what I mean.
Gill: (giggled and smiled at Ed) I know you love me, Ed. I was just teasing you. But do you know that I love you too?!
This time Ed kissed Gillian on the lips and Gillian kissed him back.

It took rather long huh?! I changed a lot of my plans for this fanfic as time passed by. Jenny wasn't suppose to die when I first came up with the plot~~ I guess I lost some interest in writing after chapter 11 since I never update it anymore. Maybe it was due to the fact that I was caught up with too many school works and my other fanfic Forget Me Not. Well, as my mom says, excuses are excuses :P
