Tav: It would be their lost if they didn't let these two volleyball stars get in.
Gillian's face turned slightly red
Char: Course it would be their lost. (placed her hand around Gillian's shoulder) Now, I've got a buddy in my team!
Ed: Way to go, Gillian....
Everyone turned and stared at Edison and Shawn.
Char: Wow, only to Gillian, huh?!
Ed: My bad, your highness. Way to go Gillian AND CHARLENE!
Niki: (whispered to Gillian) Your boyfriend came all the way here to congrat you.
Gill: (patted Niki's back with full power) He's not my boyfriend nor is he my friend of ANY KIND!
Niki got up and grabbed two stools from the table next to them.
Niki: Hey, Ed, why don't you sit next to Gill. (got a cold glare from Gillian) I'd much RATHER sit with MICHELLE than Gill. (winked at Ed)
As Edison sat down, Gillian got up.
Gill: Niki, you're so nice, but I'd much RATHER sit with YOU!
Dereck and Jenny walked into the bistro, looking to their left and their right, searching for their sister. Jenny ran up to Gillian and hugged her from the back.
Jen: I've found you, Gill.
Gill: Say hi to everyone. (whispered to her) except the two guys.
Jen: HEllo! (turned to Gill) Dereck made me come all the way here to ask you if my friend can come over at our place. He's so mean!
Dereck scratched his head as he walked up to Gill. He shrugged when Gillian looked at him with questioning eyes.
Gill: WHo's this friend of yours?
JEn: Shan Shan.
Edison smiled wickedly as he drank his drink.

Shan Shan was at the Shings' door gate. Gillian kept insisting to take the girl home, but the little girl kept refusing her offer.
Gill: You sure you can get home yourself safely? I mean I don't want you to get kidnapped or lost or something.
SS: It's alright. I came here all by myself, too. Besides, I've inherited an old cell phone from my brother.
Shan Shan pulled out a Sony Ericsson T-610 cellphone (the latest at that time).
SS: If I got lost or something, I could always call home.
The Shings were awed that a 9 year old girl had such an updated cellphone which she called it "old." The Shings watched Shan Shan entered the lift (elevator) before going back into their home. Shan Shan played with her cellphone while she waited for the elevator to stop. DING! Shan Shan, with her two pig tails bobbing up and down, walked out of the Shings' building.
Edison stood next to the gate of the building and waited paitently for Shan Shan to notice him.
SS: Gor! (Brother in Cantonese)
Edison walked up to the girl, and began walking home with her.
SS: HEy sis. How was it.
SS: (looked up at Ed and winked at him) Nice choice. Your new target can be a Miss Hong Kong and win first prixe without any difficulties.
