Ah si: where is ximen again?
Mei zhuo: he told me he’s on the way.. he’ll be here any minute..
Ah si: why is he always late? If tardiness is a competition.. He’ll probably be the gold medalist..
Looking at lei who was still sleeping
Ah si: And if sleeping will be a competiton.. lei will be the champion.. (laughing)
Lei on the other hand was just faking his sleep and heard every word Ah si said.
Lei: and if immaturity would be a competition, you my friend will be the champion too..( putting his arms around Ah si trying to control his laugh)
Ah si: did I ask for your opinion huh?
Ah si was irritated by lei’s comment that it made the two guys laugh more..
Lei: you started it.. (giving his it’s-not-my-fault smile)
Ah si: whatever?! Where is he? I’m starving…
Mei zhuo: why don’t we just check on the girls…
Ah si: that’s a great idea.. I would rather be in the kitchen than sit here besides sleepyhead!
Lei: whatever…
The three guys went out of the entertainment room and went straight to the kitchen.
KITCHEN
The four girls were preparing their dinner when the three guys entered.
Mei zhuo: wow that smells good..did you cooked that baby?
Xiao qao: no! but I did helped san cai with the cooking..
Mei zhuo: aww I’m so proud of you! (embracing xiao qao from behind)
Jing: what are you guys doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be waiting for us to call you? I thought you’re watching basketball?
Ah si: that basketball game is so boring.. and besides we’re really hungry.. can we just eat first?
San cai: you pighead! can’t you see we’re not yet complete..we’ll have to wait for Ximen before we could start with dinner…
Ah si: what?!!
San cai: are you complaining? (raising her eyebrow)
Ah si: I’m not (answering like a little child) I’m just really starving..
Xiao you: why don’t you just give him something first.. he’s like a kid whining..
Ah si was now eyeing her and giving her a strange look.
Xiao you: ooopppsss…sorry!
Then the kitchen door opened. Ximen entered the kitchen room. He was wearing his white polo shirt and khaki pants. He was holding on 3 dozens of colored roses. He approached Xiao you and gave her the flowers.
Ximen: these are for you..
Xiao you: thank you.. you shouldn’t have..
Ximen: it’s ok.. I just really wanted to.
They were both looking at each other while everybody was staring at them. Xiao qao and Jing were giggling on their sides while f3 were just smiling at the scene. San cai was smiling a little but she doesn’t want anyone to notice it.
Ah si: finally you’re here man!
Ximen: sorry guys if I’m late.. You know me…
F3: better late than never…
Xiao qao: baby can you help us with this foods.. please place them on top of the dinning table..
Jing: yeah! So that we could start..
Lei: ok..ok…
Lei took the bowl jing was holding and left the kitchen. Mei zhuo and Ah si did the same.
Ximen: umm..you want me to help you?
Xiao you: thanks..
Xiao you smiled at him and gave him the bowl she was holding. Ximen smiled back and went out of the kitchen.
Xiao qao: is he always this sweet?!!
Jing: what did I told you earlier? He is totally in love with you Xiao you.
San cai was just smiling but deep inside she was happy with her friend.
San cai: hey! We better get out of here before one of the boys would start complaining again.
Xiao you: you girls go ahead! I’ll just fix these flowers..
Jing: you can fix that later..
Xiao qao: let her Jing.. those flowers are important to her remember..
Xiao you: don’t worry..it won’t take too long..
San cai: ok…
DINNING TABLE
While they were having dinner, san cai and dao ming si decided to announced their engagement.
Ah si: the reason why we invited you guys for a dinner is because…
San cai: (continuing ah si’s statement) because we want to announce our.. our engagement!
Ah si & san cai: we’re engage!
Everybody stood up and congratulated them.
Mei zhuo: guys! Since I can’t still believe that our friend here is getting married I would like to make a toast ( raising his glass) to our brother.. for he has finally matured! (laughing) cheers!
All of them laughed even dao ming si didn’t get pissed off this time.
Lei: I would like to make a toast.. to san cai…for he has changed our brother into a better man…and for loving him unconditionally..
San cai was in tears. Ah si just held her hands and squeezed it.
Ximen: I on the other hand want to make a toast.. for the both of you…for finally making it to the next big step..marriage..
Xiao you was staring at him smiling. When he saw her staring, he just smiled back.
Mei zhuo: I still can’t believe it.. the most immature man in f4 is finally settling down.. hahahaha (laughing)
Ah si: don’t wait for me to get pissed off mei zhuo.
Mei zhuo: don’t be such a kill joy man! I’m just really happy for you..
Xiao qao: so when is the wedding? (butting in)
San cai: we’re planning to have it by next month.
Xiao you: next month? Wouldn’t it be such a rush? You know..for your gown, for your reception and everything..
Ah si: this wedding is long overdue.. besides I’m a Dao Ming.. everything can be done in a matter of days.
San cai: pighead! why are you such a humbug?
Ah si: sorry..ok..sorry.. besides my mom will take care of everything..
Xiao qao: she will take care of everything? (worried look)
San cai: she will do the talking, I will do all the deciding..
Xiao qao: that’s better..( relieved)
Suddenly Chen, the servant, approached Xiao you and gave her a dozen of garden mums.
Chen: Ms. Xiao you, the flowers are from Mr. Jeff Chua.. this was sent just now by his driver.
Ximen just frowned upon hearing the name of the sender. F3 noticed it and just smiled at each other. They knew that Ximen was now in a bad mood.
Xiao you: ok..thanks chen..
Chen: your welcome Ms. Xiao you.
Jing: jeff sent you that? awww…he’s so…
Lei gave him the cut-it-out look.
Xiao you: he’s what?
Then again one of the servants approached Xiao you and gave her a dozen of carnations.
Servant: Ms. Xiao you, this is from Andrew Lim.. (giving the flowers to xiao you)
Xiao you: thanks..
Ximen was not frowning anymore but instead he was now staring at the flowers with fierce look as if his looks could kill all those flowers, or at least the senders. F3 again noticed it and was now worried.
Xiao qao: andrew gave those to you..how…
But even before she could say another word Mei zhuo squeezed her hands tighter.
Xiao you: how what?
Xiao qao didn’t answer.
San cai: but I still think that roses are romantic than any of those flowers..
Ximen face lightened up. He couldn’t believe what he had just heard.
*Ximen’s POV*
thank you san cai! Thank you!
Lei: I think so too..
Jing: me too..i think roses are more expressive..
Xiao qao: and they are more beautiful..
Ximen was now smiling. He was so grateful that his friends were so supportive of him.
Xiao you: I think so too..
Her comment brought hope in Ximen’s heart. He was now more determined to fight for her.
