Xiao you was welcomed and was introduced to all the people in her department including the secretary that will attend to her, Secretary Bing. Secretary Bing is a lady in her 50’s. She looks more a lot of San cai’s mother. She was brought to the office that she’ll be working at. When they got to her office three bouquets of pink roses where placed at the top of her table.
Xiao you: how thoughtful of you guys? You don’t have to give me these roses..but still thank you for the warm welcome. This is so overwhelming..(smelling the roses)
Secretary Bing: (confused) uhhh..yeah..we better go now Ms.Yang ..we don’t want to interrupt you..i know that this would be a very busy day for you..again welcome to the company..we’re looking forward on working with you..and if you need anything don’t hesitate to call us..bye
Xiao you: bye (the staff went out of her office)
OUTSIDE XIAO YOU”S OFFICE
Sec. Bing: who gave her that? The rose was not their when I cleaned her office.
Girl1: I don’t know..did you guys gave her that?
Guy1: if we found out earlier that our new boss would be that beautiful, we could have given her more..
Guy2: oh! Yeah! She is a beauty!!
Sec. Bing: enough of that..you better return to your work..
INSIDE XIAO YOU”S OFFICE
Xiao you was still holding on a rose that was given to her. When she saw a letter attached to one of the rose, she immediately read it.
“A pink rose symbolizes once innocence”
Xiao you: wonder what these means?
Then someone knocked at her door.
Xiao you: yes Ms. Bing.
Sec. Bing: the President is calling out for a meeting to all the employees sent from Canada. I think he’s ready to see you..all of you..
Xiao you: I’ll be there in a sec. Thanks..
On the way she keeps on thinking of the phrase that Sec. Bing released ”Ready to see you”
*Xiao you POV*
am I ready to see him? yes! You are!!! Be cool..stay cool..just relax
CONFRENCE ROOM
Xiao you was the last one to arrive. Everybody was seated on his or her designated seats. Ximen was also seated at the Presidents Chair. So she immediately proceeds to her seat.
Sec Liu: as you all know the Chan Enterprises that is based in Canada is the sister company of the Ximen enterprises here in Taiwan.. If you did your research you would understand what I’m saying. Mr. Ximen’s father is the brother-in law of Mr. Chan.
As the meeting proceeded Ximen would steal glances from Xiao you and vice versa. But everytime they caught each other glances they would just smile shyly at each other. After ten minutes, Xiao you gave her speech and it that span of time Ximen was just staring at her.
*Ximen POV*
Her confidence made her more attractive. And that smile..that’s the smile I’ve longed for, for six years. She still has that glow in her eyes. The xiao you as a whole..how could I be so damned stupid to let her go?
Ximen didn’t notice that he was staring at her for too long not until his secretary told him that he was supposed to give his speech at that moment.
Ximen: Good Morning Everyone!! (keeping his sight away from xiao you) I’m Ximen Zhong Er Lang, the president of the Ximen enterprise.
When he caught Xiao you staring at her, he got distracted..
Ximen: i..umm..i…
*Ximen’s POV*
What is wrong with you? Can’t you read? All you have to do is read the content of the paper? Why did you let her distract you? Why can’t you concentrate?…her stare would melt me..Please God!! Help me!!
Ximen: ummm..weh..well..our company..
Xiao you was just smiling and can’t help herself from giggling. She was amused at the sight of him being distracted and tongue tied
*Xiao you’s POV*
he is so cute..he better not be or else I’m doomed..
Ximen: i..i just want to welcome all of you..Thank your time..you can go back to work now..thank you..
Everyone stood up and shaked Ximen’s hand. But when it’s time for him to shake xiao you’s hand he didn’t let it go. Everyone was starting to leave the conference. Even Sec. Liu left them both alone. He is still holding on to her hands. He was determined not to let it go. They were both staring at each other. Eye to eye. As if their eyes were talking.
*Xiao you POV*
I hope he doesn’t notice my shaky hands..this is totally nerve racking.. it’s as if my hands is destined to hold his. Let go Xiao you..let go..my mind is telling me to let go..but my heart seems to be the opposite..
*Ximen’ s POV*
her touch seems to warm me, my soul, my heart...Mr. Time, could you take your break first…
Xiao you: ummm..(breaking away from their eye contact) I need to go..
Ximen: ok..sorry bout that..
Xiao you: it’s ok.. bye (turning her back from him and started to walk)
Ximen: xiao you! (she didn’t turn her back but just stopped) I hope you liked the roses..
Xiao you started walking out of the conference room. On the way back to her office she didn’t notice that she’s smiling..
Sec. Bing: I believe that you’ve finally met the president. (xiao you stopping)
Xiao you: uh! yeah! The meeting was finished...I better go back inside my office..
( heading back for her office)
Sec. Bing: girls always have those kind of smiles…(xiao you again stopping)
Xiao you: umm..excuse me?
Sec. Bing: I said girls have those kind of smiles..
Xiao you: I don’t understand you Ms. Bing.
Sec. Bing: it’s just that girls tend to smile after meeting the young president. They say that they he has those killer smiles that easily melts a girls heart..is that true Ms. Xiao you?
Xiao you: I’m sorry. I didn’t notice it.. well! I better head back to my office..
