“Jayde!” MJ looked behind her and saw one of her classmate calling her.
“Hey Kyle, you need something?” she asked.
“The drama club was looking for you. They were waiting for you to take their pictures before they go on stage.”
“I’ll be right over there. I’m just looking for Ji hoon, have you seen him? He supposed to help me with my camera equipment.”
“Last time I saw him he was walking with your best friend Sera towards the back of the gym.”
“Thanks Kyle! Don’t worry; I’ll be there in a few minutes.” Then she ran off to where Kyle told her where they will be.

Equipment Room
“We need to stop this.” Ji Hoon said.
Sera pulled him back to kiss him again. “No we don’t. She won’t find out. I know you want me. You’ve been checking me out when I’m not looking.”
Ji Hoon kissing Sera back, “What if she finds out?” he asked in between kisses.
“Then break up with her and come to me.”
“I can’t. Her father is the most popular photographer in the business right now and she’s making a name already and we’re still in High School.” He said.
Sera stopped kissing him and she smiled. “So, you’re just using her?”
“Well, I do like her, but I do like her connections more.” Then he looks at her, “How about you? Aren’t you her best friend and you’re doing this?”
She smirks, “We’re the same. I’m also just using her. With her connections I know I can go somewhere.”
That’s when they heard the door opened. “Yah! Whose out there?!” Ji Hoon asked angrily. They both saw someone coming in. They were shocked to see MJ standing there with anger in her eyes.
Ji Hoon spoke first, “Jayde, I can explain everything. It’s not what you’re thinking.” Then he saw MJ smile. That ice cold smile.
“Sorry to interrupt you guys. I was just looking for my camera equipment.” She looks around and saw it and walks over there to grab it and then walks back to the door. She was about to get out of there when she turns around and said, “Oh by the way Ji Hoon, we’re over.” Then she looks at Sera, “Oh and you girl. Don’t let me see your face again or I’ll put a big scar on it.” She gave them the last look and left the room.

2 weeks later
“MJ! You got mail.” Her dad called from down stairs.
“I’m coming down.” She ran downstairs and opened her letter. She was shocked to what she got and looks up to her dad. “Dad!” She said excitedly.
Her dad looks up to her. “Yes dear?”
“I got an offer for a job!” She started jumping around. Her dad stood up and looked at the letter.
“Honey, do you know where this is at?” Her dad asked.
She looks confused. She was so excited about the offer that she didn’t bother reading the rest. When she started reading again her eyes went big. It says it’s for a Korean Magazine name SINGLES. She looks up to her dad and she looks so disappointed. She dropped the letter and ran to her room. She knew it’s impossible for her to go to Korea since she is still a minor. She feels like everything is just not going right. Her boyfriend and best friend betrayed her and now a job that she wants that’s so out of reach. She just wants to start over.

Downstairs
He saw how her daughter was laughing when she first saw the offer, but once she found out it’s in Korea the light in her eyes just left. He heard about what happened to her boyfriend and best friend. He knew that guy is trouble, but she was so in love. It is hard to have so many connections because you don’t know who your friends are. She needs a change of environment. She been declining job offers everywhere that’s why he was surprised to see her all excited when she saw this letter.
He picked up his phone and dialed a number. “Mrs. Kim? Yes, this is Mr. Lee. How are you? How’s your family?” he paused, “That’s good to hear. Mrs. Kim, I need a favor from you. It’s about little Jayde.”
