Jayde is lying down on the grass underneath the big tree behind the school. She loves hanging out here. She has her arms on her forehead just staring at the sky through the swaying branches and leafs. It’s a bit windy outside which she likes. She’s enjoying her solitariness when she hears a noise. It’s coming from the other side of the tree. She sits up to see who destroyed her peaceful rest. There she sees that new boy. He is sitting with his back on the tree.
“Stop staring at me.” He complains.
Jayde didn’t say anything and just sits up and leans on the tree opposite him. She closes her eyes and just enjoying the breeze that the morning brings. Then she hears her phone ring. She takes it out of her skirt and looks at the caller. A small smile touches her face and she answers.
“Hello Jae.”

Geun Suk is walking down the hallway when he sees the Amazon woman on the ground under the tree through the window. He looks around and he sees no one. He walks faster just to make sure that she’s not in trouble or anything. When he is a few feet away from her he notice how she looks at the sky and that she seems fine. He finally breathes a sigh of relief. He looks at his watch and sees that it’s still too early to go to class. He decides to just sit by the tree where she’s at. He steps on some dry leafs that causes the girl sit up. He ignores her and then just sits down and enjoying the breeze. He can feel her staring at him. It’s getting on his nerve.
“Stop staring at me.” He says. He feels her sitting up straight. She didn’t say anything at all. ‘Something’s weird,’ he thinks. Then he hears her shuffling.
“Hello Jae.” His ears perks up when he hears her say Jae’s name.
He doesn’t want to eavesdrop but he just can’t help it. Her voice sounds so sad and a bit melancholy.
“I’m fine Jae.” He hears her pause. “Yes, I’m eating well and I’m not avoiding anyone.”
She’s avoiding someone? GS starts to wonder who she’s avoiding.
“I miss you too.” She pauses, “I love you too.”
So, they are really going out then. GS thought to himself.
“Yes, I’ll see you Sunday.” She whispers, “Okay dear, you take care and don’t work too hard. I love you.” She says before hanging up.
Did she just sigh? GS thinks he hears her sigh when she hang up. He then asks, “Is everything alright?”
He sees her looking at the sky thinking before she answers, “I don’t know.” She then looks at her fingers and mumbles, “It will be alright.”
Geun Suk is more confuse now. He is not use to seeing her like this. Most of the time they always argue about something, but this time she looks like she been defeated. He stands up and walks towards where she’s at and then sits beside her. She didn’t even look up.
“What’s wrong?” GS can’t believe he’s asking this question. He should be walking away from her, but there’s something about her that pulls him in.
It looks like she’s deciding if she should tell him or not. He is really curious on what’s going on in that brain of hers. She startles him when she looks straight in his eyes.
She hesitates for a few seconds and then, “What can I do to make my friends stop worrying about me?” She asks. Her eyes are full of pain and sufferings. Feelings that he never thinks she even have. She’s always laughing and giggling with her friends that one would think that she doesn’t have any worries at all.
Geun Suk sits back leaning on the tree thinking about that question she asks. “I don’t think you can stop anyone from worrying.” He pauses, “It is human nature to worry.” He then adds, “When people truly cares and loves someone they will always worry about things around that person even if it’s just a little and will do everything to make that other person feel better.”
“I guess that’s true.” She mumbles.
“Care to share your problem?” GS asks her. “I’m a good listener.”
She looks at him and says, “Only if you tell me your story and your name. I don’t tell my life to strangers you know.” She says smiling a little.
Geun Suk smiles at her. “Okay, that sounds fair enough.” He then stretches his hand towards her. “My name is Jang Geun Suk and a junior here nice to meet you.”
“My name is Jayde Lim and I’m a senior here and nice to meet you too.” She says and shakes his hand. “So? What’s your story?”
Geun Suk sits back again leaning on the tree looking at something far away and answers, “I want to be a model.”
Jayde looks at him and said, “What’s the reason for that?”
Geun Suk hesitates for a bit then he explains, “My grandfather is sick.” He says and then after a minute he continues, “I thought about quitting school and just work to help my grandfather out, but I know he will be upset. I don’t have any other family besides my grandfather. I was thinking of a way to earn some money without quitting school when I came across a magazine that is full of MJ’s models. They have stories there on how they were discovered, but nothing about who MJ really is. Then I thought, maybe, just maybe if I transfer to where these models are I might bump into MJ and make me a model too. Does that sound ridiculous to you?” He asks Jayde.
Jayde shakes her head and then look straight up admiring how the sun rays goes in between the branches and leafs. “No, not at all, maybe MJ already noticed you and just waiting for the right time to approach you.” She says.
Geun Suk smiles, “I hope so, but it looks like it won’t happen anytime soon.”
Jayde looks at him and asks, “Why did you say that?”
“Well, I haven’t even met any of the models yet.” He then sighs.
“You met me.” She said.
Geun Suk looks at her a bit confuse then he said, “Oh, you mean because Jae Hyung is your Fiancé?” GS asks. He sees her eyebrows rise. “I heard from a friend that you and Jae Hyung are an item here for a while now too.” He shyly admits.
Jayde chuckles a bit and utters, “I guess you can also put it that way.”
Geun Suk is about to ask something when they both hear the first bell ring. He sees her stands up and dusts her skirt off.
“Let’s go, it’s time for class. We don’t want to be late you know.” Jayde says to him before turning around to go inside the school building.
“Hold on.” He stops her and Jayde turns around and looks at him waiting for him to say what he wants.
“You told me you will tell me what’s on your mind.”
He sees the changes on her face from that small smile to sadness and then she says softly, “I lost my baby.” Then she bows her head before turning around and starts walking to her class.

The whole day Geun Suk is thinking about what Jayde has said to him. He didn’t expect that kind of answer at all. No wonder her friends are worried about her. He didn’t even see her after that morning. He was hoping to bump into her during lunch, but luck wasn’t on his side. He is curious who the father is, though he already has an idea who he might be, but just want to make sure. He needs to stop thinking about that girl.
He is on his way outside when someone bumps into him. He looks down to see that Yoo Bin girl picking up her things that came out of her bag. He bends down to help her pick up her books while she’s busy picking up her personal things.
“Thank you. I’m sorry I wasn’t looking where I was going.” She said as she bows her head a few times and then when she looks up she saw Geun Suk staring at her.
“You!” she almost shouts.
Geun Suk steps back from her ouyburst. “What?”
She’s about to say something when she bites her mouth to prevent her to saying it.
Then Geun Suk asks, “Where’s Jayde?”
“Jayde?” Yoo Bin looks at him weirdly.
“Yes, Jayde, you know…Your friend.” Geun Suk rolls his eyes.
“Since when did you start calling her Jayde?” Geun Suk notices that she’s getting protective of her friend. He understands more now what Jayde is going through.
“Since this morning.” He answers back.
“Where?” Yoo Bin walks towards him.
He steps back a couple of steps. “Under the tree behind the school.”
“She came to school this morning?”
“Yes, and I saw her walk inside the building to go to her class.”
“But you didn’t really see her go in her class right?”
“No I didn’t. My classroom is on the other side of the building.” Geun Suk said while wondering what’s going on.
Yoo Bin remains silent. Then she looks at him with a worried face and says. “She didn’t show to any of our class at all. I was wondering where she was at.”
Geun Suk is shocked. “That can’t be.”
“Did something happen this morning?” Yoo Bin asks. She looks at him with suspicion in her eyes.
“Well…” he’s hesitating. “We talked for a little bit.”
“Talk about what?” Yoo Bin is getting too close to him.
“Well,” he pauses, trying to find the right words to say to her. “I told her something about myself and she told me a little of herself too.”
“And?”
“Well, I was shocked when she told me she lost her baby.” Geun Suk finally says.
Yoo Bin looks surprise. “That’s the first time she mentioned that since the incident.” She’s now looking more worried then she looks at Geun Suk. “Thanks.” Then she starts calling someone.
Geun Suk can’t help but listen to her. “Ji, gather everyone. Jayde is missing.” Yoo Bin then hangs up the phone and then run towards the school gate. Geun Suk looks at the sky and said to no one, “Where are you Jayde?”

Ji Young hangs up the phone and looks at Seung Hyun and Young Bae with a worried face. “Jayde is missing.” Ji says.
“Are you sure?” Seung Hyun asks with his eyebrows meeting together
“That’s what your girl said. She also said that Jayde didn’t show up in any of her classes today.”
“Well, we shouldn’t panic yet. She might just be somewhere thinking or probably taking pictures.” Young Bae utters.
“That will be great if it’s just like that, but” Seung Hyun pause, “I have a bad feeling it’s not.”
Young Bae looks at Ji and says, “Ji, don’t call Jae hyung and the other guys.”
“Why not?” Ji Young asks.
“They are still doing their photo shoot and we don’t want them to worry unless there is something bad happens to her.”
Ji Young closes his eyes and then opens it to look outside the window from their classroom. They have another hour of school because of the projects they need to finish in order for them to graduate. Ji Young said more to himself, ‘Jayde please don’t do anything crazy.

Jayde is standing on the side of the bridge looking down at the clear running water. She’s holding a bouquet of white roses and just staring into space. Few minutes later she looks up to the sky and tears starts falling down her cheeks. She then grabs one of the white roses and about to throw them to the running river when one of the other roses falls on the ground on the other side of the railing. She tries to bend down and reach out on the other side to get the rose. She's almost there and just few centimeters away she could grab the stem when she hears someone yelling out her name. She gets startled that she ends up going overboard the railing and falling down the bridge to the small river below.
