Jae is standing in front of the new building two blocks from his school. This can’t be right. How can she live here? He looks around and he saw a lot of people go in and out. This is an internet café. He heard about this place. It became the most popular place to hang out at. He decided to go in and ask. There’s this nice older lady who runs the whole place.
“Hi.” Jae said, “My friend Kim Bum told me to go to this address because my friend lives here, but it seems like it was a mistake. Is there any other place here with this number?” He noticed the lady looks at him with interest.
“What’s your name son?” The lady asked.
“Jaejeong.” He said.
“Why are you looking for this friend of yours?”
“Well, I’m just worried that she didn’t show up at school.” He doesn’t know why he’s explaining this to her.
The lady was a bit quiet then she nod. “Come in here young man.”
He followed the Older Lady and he was surprised to see a stairs going up on the second floor behind that door. He looks inquiringly at the old lady.
“Just go up straight and her apartment should be the last one on the hallway.” She then smiled at him and turned around to go back to the front desk.
Jae stood there for a few seconds. “Wow, I feel like I’m going under cover.” He chuckled. He then look at the stairs and followed what the old lady told him. He saw the last door and knocked on it.
“It’s open Kim, just come in.” Someone shout from the inside.
Jae opened the door and he saw a nice furnished apartment. Then someone came out from one of the rooms.
“I’m hungry Kimmy, where’s my food?” the girl just stopped when she saw Jae instead of Kim Bum.
Jae wasn’t sure what to do. “Kim Bum told me to bring you this. He said he have a pictorial today and can’t bring you the food.”
“He did now? He was lying you know.” Jayde walks over to him and grabbed the food then walks to her kitchen to put it on the table. She turned around to Jae. “You want to eat?” Jae took that as an invitation and walks to the kitchen and sat across her.
“Why did you say he was lying?” Jae asked.
Jayde already stuffing her mouth with food answered, “Well, I am his pictorial today, and I cancelled because I didn’t get enough sleep last night. I rescheduled him for this weekend instead.”
Few minutes have passed and Jayde looks up to Jae. “What? You have questions again?”
“Well, yeah, I do.” Jae said.
“Fine, you can ask 3 questions and that’s it.” She said while still eating.
Jae thought of it carefully. “Okay, here’s my first one. How did you get this apartment?”
“How?” she laughs, “I own the whole building.”
“You what?” he asked surprised.
“You heard me the first time.”
“How about the business downstairs? Are those yours too?”
“Yes, they’re mine too. You got one last question better think carefully.” She said. Then she remembered something. She ran to her room and grabbed an envelope and handed it to Jae when she came back to the kitchen. “Open it.” She said.
Jae looks at her and then opens the envelope. He was surprised to see what’s inside.
“I was going to give it to you this morning, but I overslept. I’m glad you’re here so you can see it.”
Jae was still speechless. These are the pictures she took of him yesterday. It looks different. He looks so different.
Jayde smiled at his reaction. “They’re good huh? I knew from the first time I saw you that you will be perfect to be a model.”
“How did you do that?” he still looking at his pictures. Then he saw one that he don’t remember posing for. It was when he was walking by the beach while Jayde was packing up. She took some pictures without him knowing it. It came out beautiful.
“I don’t know. I just do.” Then she asked, “Do you want to be my model?”
“Yes.” He doesn’t know why he said that, but he just can’t say no to her when she’s looking like that to him.
“You do know that if you become my model, you can’t have any other photographer except me.”
“Yes, I do. I heard about that.”
Jayde smiled. “Good, because I want you in my team.” She then stood up and kissed him on the cheek to seal the deal.

3 weeks later
Jae is at the kitchen cooking when he heard the door opened. He looks up and Jayde coming in. “Welcome Home.” He said. He smiled when he saw Jayde rolled her eyes.
Walking towards the kitchen, Jayde put her things on the table and walked towards the answering machine to listen to her messages. Then she looks at Jae. “Jae, aren’t you spending too much time here in my apartment?” She asked while trying to listen to her messages.
Jae stopped chopping some veggies and looks at her. “I’m here to cook for you. You don’t eat properly you know. You need proper nutrient to take good pictures.” He said and went back on chopping his ingredients.
“Fine, but after we eat you need to go home. No more staying the night here.” She said. She saw him smile. She sighs…Jae’s been in and out of her apartment. Treating it like his home. He complained to her that since she published his photos he became more popular and a lot of girls are following him around. She even let him stayed for a week in her apartment because he can’t go home with all the girls camping in front of his place. When she told him that he needs to go he started to cook for her. Boy, he is a good cook. She got tired of eating take out and homemade food is just heavenly. She was about to remind him something when she heard a familiar voice from her messages. She replayed it again. She can’t believe it. How did he find out her number?
“Is everything alright Jayde?” Jae asked. He noticed she got quiet when she heard one of the messages. He saw her picked up her phone and dialed something.
“Kim Bum. Did you tell Ji Hoon my number?” she paused, “No? Then how the heck did he find out my number? He left me a message on my home phone.” She paused again, “Well, what will I do now? He mentioned about transferring to my school. I don’t want anything to do with him anymore.” She paused. “Fine! You better call me back.” Then she hangs up the phone.
“Jayde, are you okay?” Jae asked walking beside her.
Jayde looked up. “No, my freaking ex-boyfriend is transferring to our school. He wants to get back to me. Like heck I’ll go back to him.”
Jae doesn’t like the sound of this. He’s trying to get Jayde affections here and her ex showing up will ruin his plan. Then he thought of an idea. He cleared his throat. “Hey Jayde why not find a boyfriend then that will put him away from you.”
“That’s actually a good idea, but who will I get? I don’t talk much in school at all. Plus, I just don’t want to pick any random guy to be my boyfriend.” Then she perked up, “I know! How about Kim Bum? He can be my boyfriend.”
Jae didn’t like this conversation is going at. “No, he’s no good. From what I know Ji Hoon knows Kim Bum right? He will think there’s something funny. You need someone who he doesn’t know.” He saw Jayde sit on the chair and put her hands on her face.
“I can’t think of anyone.” Jayde screamed.
“How about me?” Jae asked. He saw her look up slowly.

“How about me?” Jayde heard Jae asked her. She looks at him and thought it might not be a bad idea.
“Are you fine with that?” she paused, “Being my boyfriend and stuff.” She asked.
“Yeah, I don’t mind, I just have one condition.” Jae said.
“What is it?” she asked.
“This relationship won’t be a pretend one. I will be your boyfriend and you will be my girlfriend.”
“That’s fine with me. I don’t like anyone right now.” She said.
“It also means we do all the couples do.” He paused and sees if she understands. She looks confused. He rolled his eyes. “I mean there will be kissing and hugging involved and holding hands.”
She thought about it for a minute, “That’s fine with me. I don’t think I have any problems kissing you.” She smiles.
Jae walks towards her and lean over. “How about we try one right now, kissing I mean.” He saw her looks at him and she nod. He leaned closer and kissed her on her lips. Her lip is so soft. When he felt that she’s getting into it he deepens it. He then pushed it more and inserted his tongue in her mouth. He heard her moan. It’s turning him on. He felt her arms come around him. He wants to carry her to her room and just make love with her, but then they got interrupted by a phone call. Jayde let go of him first. She picked up her phone.
“Kim Bum?” she looks at Jae and smiled at him. Jae decided to go back and finish what he is cooking. “He got the number from my mom? How? That bastard.” She paused, “Don’t worry about it Kim Bum. He won’t bother me anymore. I found a boyfriend.” She smiled. “Who? You know him. He’s in my apartment right now. If you come right now you’ll meet him.” She listened to Kim bum, “Okay, see you soon.” She hangs up the phone.
“Is he coming over?” Jae asked.
“Nope. He figured out that you’re my boyfriend.” Jayde said.
“How?” Jae asked as he prepares his food on the table.
“He knows me too well. It also doesn’t help when you’ve been here every single day for the last 3 weeks.” She saw him laugh. “Hey Jae, does that mean we can have sex too?” she asked. She saw how Jae almost dropped the soup when she asked that. He is so adorable.
Jae looks at me and blush. “If you want to we can do that too.” He said.
Jayde changed the subject. “Oh, can you bring Yun Ho tomorrow in my studio?” She asked. When she saw him frown, “I’m not going to seduce him or something. I want to take a picture of him. Remember? I told you that I want the five of you guys. I asked him few weeks ago if he wants to be a model and he said it will be great if he become one.”
“Okay. I’ll bring him tomorrow. What time?” He asked.
“Right after school is fine.” She said. Then they ate and talk.
