We were getting terribly worried about how we were going to get our clothes off and how we were going to put on any clothes if we were able to take off any. Now that was a big problem. Sunye said that we would have to sleep in the same clothes we were wearing then. Luckily, I only had a turtleneck t-shirt and jeans, and Yunho wore that same formal ensemble but this time he was only wearing a brown woolen chaleco over his white polo.
Now came the awkward part. After we were made to face away from each other while our hands were bound so Sunye could change my jeans and Yunho’s pants into shorts, she blew a hairdryer at us to dry our tops. It took about a while for her to finish doing that, and Freddy accompanied her every now and then.
I was getting too embarrassed with what I did. Handcuffs! Look at the trouble it is causing us now. How stupid of me to have lost the keys. I never ceased thanking and apologizing Sunye and Freddy for all the efforts they made.
Sunye closed the hairdryer and laid it on the table. She took a deep breathe. Freddy came in and started tinkering with the handcuffs again.
“Well,” Sunye said, fixing her hair. “I’ll just sleep in the kid’s room. I’ll be going now.”
“What do you mean?” I asked. “This is your room.”
“No, don’t bother. You can sleep here. Both of you.”
“Huh?”
“What?” Sunye raised her eyebrows. “Don’t tell me you never thought that you and Yunho would be sleeping together, with both of your wrist handcuffed like that!”
Sleeping together? I accidentally left my mouth wide open and I was stuck. I’ve never slept in the same bed with a guy before! Not even with my brother!
“Don’t worry,” Sunye smiled. “ there are two beds in here; one for each other of you. But of course, your wrist are still enchained.”
I sighed with great relief. Wonderful!
“Goodnight,” Sunye smiled then turned around to leave.
“Wait!” I called her. “Come here.”
Sunye obeyed and came closer to me. I immediately pulled her neck down and kissed her forehead, thanked her and apologized endlessly. One fast fact: I show my deepest gratitude and appreciation, but I never kiss on the lips. I never do it with malice, it’s simply my heartfelt expression. Many people look weirdly at me when I do that, but I don’t care. I do it with every good intention.
Sunye was surprised at my sudden gesture and gave me a shock laugh, then she said I was welcome and forgiven.
“What is your ambition, Sunye?” I asked her,
“ I promised you, I will pray for it every night before I sleep!”
Sunye laughed at me then paused to think. “Well, actually I have two ambitions…
“Name them.” I said.
“First” she stuck out two fingers and held one of them, “I want to be a successful psychiatrist. Second she pinched her older brother’s cheek. “I want Yunho oppa to have a girlfriend!”
Yunho rolled his eyes, annoyed, while Sunye laughed. That was when I saw her inner rascal. Who knows this practical and pretty teenager could be so fun after all? I smiled at her then promised to pray for that. Another thing I realized: her world also revolves around Yunho. Yunho is the luckiest man on the planet…Yipee for him.
And so, this was our set up night: Yunho lay on the right bed, his right arm extended towards my bed which was two feet away from his bed. Both of our wrists are suspended in the middle, and we simply couldn’t move and sleep well because one of our hands are tied together.
Freddy gave up on the handcuffs while we lay on the bed.
“It’s so hard to unlock!” he said frustrated.
“Freddy, you can sleep now.” I smiled at him.
“You know,” Freddy wiped a drop of sweat off his forehead. “My children had fake handcuffs and fake key. Whenever they lose it, I was always the one who unlocked their toy, but in this case, I couldn’t do anything!”
I looked at the blankets and took a deep breath. This is all my fault. How could this even happen to us?
Freddy must have noticed my face and he patted my shoulder. “Don’t worry, ~~~~~. We know you handcuffed yourself together with Yunho because you cared.”
I cared? That was the best thing happened to me all day, when Freddy told me that. Not that I’m being emotional but, I know now that they understand when I can get ‘crazy’ at times and do even the silliest things. I’m glad they appreciated that.
Freddy smiled then closed the lights and went out the room, bidding us goodnight. He assured that by tomorrow, we should have probably taken off the handcuffs by then. I’m not sure if he meant that, but I’ll just hope for the best.
I sat up from the bed and coaxed Yunho to pray with me, and I gave him a short lecture on the importance of prayer. That made him so sleepy that it made him fall fast sleep immediately once I was finished. I too, fell fast asleep. Long hours passed by as my sleep became deeper and deeper until I was beginning to dream. I dreamt I was walking along the Downtown Gym Square when suddenly…
“Whoa!” I opened my eyes in shock, waking up badly. I felt my head was being pulled down the bed by something! I completely lost balance with my sleepiness, and eventually fell off the bed and landed on something strangely soft! I turned around and was horrified as I saw Yunho’s stomach under my bottom!
“Holy cow!” I exclaimed as I hurriedly tried to stand up. He must’ve fallen out of his bed and had accidentally pulled me down with him. I quickly knelt in front of him.
“Are you alright?” I asked with great anxiety.
“Huhhhhhhh…” Yunho tried to inhale. He can’t breath! I must’ve sat on his chest too hardly!
“Yunho? Yunho!” I began to panic. “ Breath! Breath…”
After a few second of heightened tension and panic, Yunho slowly recovered and started breathing normally. Oh, thank God! The dim light coming from outside the window slowly became clearer, and I was able to see Yunho’s face as he breathed with relief.
“Oh, Yunho. I’m so so sorry…” I gave my most humble apologies, “I didn’t mean to sit on you.”
Yunho waved his hand as if signaling me to stop talking. I sensed he was a little angry at me for almost killing him. Yunho stood up and breathed deeply once more then went to the side of his bed non-adjacent to mine. Naturally, he was pulling me behind.
Then, he bent down and started pushing his bed towards my bed.
“What are you doing?” I asked, my eyes widening.
“I’m joining the beds.” came his answer.
“What?” Are you crazy? That would be like sleeping in one bed!” I was starting to shout unconsciously.
“No,” Yunho straightened his back, “I’m not as crazy as you are, thinking of handcuffing the both of us.”
I swallowed. Is he trying to fight me now? My blood boiled.
“Look,” I fixed my braided hair, “I didn’t mean to sit on you and knock the air out of your chest, okay?! I didn’t mean for this to happen!”
“I know…” Yunho looked at me seriously, but his face was kinder now. ”I know you didn’t mean to. So, now I’m trying to make sure there won’t be a second time!”
“But…,” that’s all I can say.
“What’s the big deal?” He tried to convinced me, “It’s not as if we are going to do something, is it?
I felt my face heat up and redden
“How dare you…” I muttered to him, although I know he was serious when he said that and he didn’t mean anything wrong. He was just being realistic.
“I didn’t mean anything different,” Yunho tried talk to me kindy as he raised his eyebrows, I’m just telling the truth.”
I looked down and thought for a few moments. He’s kind of mature to have said that. For the very first time actually, I somehow felt safe with him. The weird, heavy feeling that I felt around him was somehow wearing off. That’s good news! That can only mean that there has been improvement.
Okay, so I agreed in the end, provided that he must stay on the other side of his ‘original’ bed and I stay on mine.
Both of us pulled up our blankets upon feeling the night get chillier. It was freezing cold, actually. I tossed and turned and moved in my bed, trying to fight the cold and fall asleep. Soon, I found a warm position and fell deep into slumberland.
Finally, the long day ended for me, but I’ll never forget it.

our dance presentation will be this thursday..
we added the song Hush hush..by PCD..and
another song i don't know the title but it is also tango so we will be dancing in three different song..there's a part of our dance were my partner will flip into the air..first I was scared because he
might not catch me..but then I get use to it..
My body really hurts..>.<
and our teacher announced that we will perform it on the United Nations in our school..I'm sOO nervous yet excited..hihixD...
