I went down the last step. Mr. Jung greeted me.
"So...How was he?"
I paused.
"Um."
Mr. Jung laughed. "I Know that look. I've expected that response."
I merely smiled at him, then he held my elbow and pulled me to the dinning room . I saw a grandfather's clock standing nearby. It was half past eleven.
"Maybe you should eat lunch here with us," Mr. Jung smiled. "Please don't refuse our offer."
So I ate with them. But Yunho didn't eat with us. The maids brought him the steak and fruit salad in his room. I thought they didn't eat with him because of his condition, but we had a difference of opinion. I was thinking it would be better if he ate with his family. If they wanted to cure his condition, they must make him feel accepted. It was common sense that he was being possessed because of a weak mind and soul, and the only way to cure it is by strengthening his faith and for giving him a reason not to let evil possess him, and that is to make him feel loved.
I ate the steak quietly, remembering my almost disastrous date the day before. I've been wanting to tell them what I think, but I am new and I just got there. It would be too soon if I already meddle with their activities.
"How long are you planning to say here,~~~~~? Mrs. Jung asked. "You might be in a hurry to get home. It's alright with us. Besides, by the end of the day you might have already made your decision if you want to do it or not."
"It's alright, Mrs. Jung," I answered her. "I'm free the whole day, so I might as well maximize the use of my time."
We continued eating. This family is very quiet, unlike my family. Usually when you see us eating, you see us talk more and eat less. But that's when I was still living with them.
We finished our meal and in a few seconds, the table has already been cleared out by the housemaids. So this is what a princess feels like. This family is very rich, but their eldest son has a problem. There is no perfect family.
I decided to interview the family members to get to the root of the problem.
"Mr. and Mrs. Jung, would you mind if I interview you on the matter?"I asked.
"Sure, ~~~~~," Mr. Jung answered, "but I'm afraid it would have to wait. We are leaving the house for a while because of business matters. Perhaps you can interview mother." He looked at the old lady sitting beside him at the table.
"Of course." I replied
So both of them left, and I sat in the living with Mrs.Haneul Jung. She sat on her wheelchair.
