Here in front of his own eyes, sit his pretty Jaejoong with his head still hung low. Yunho can’t really see his face. He doesn’t know why Jaejoong seems interest for the floor than his boyfriend. Or is it…ex-boyfriend to be truth.
When he step inside this suite five minutes ago, only God know how shock he is. He can still remember the shock face Jaejoong gave him. They stare at each other long enough to make King Kangin have to cough loudly to make Yunho broke the stares. It’s been so long since the two love birds share the stare, the one stare that full with love.
And now here he is, sits on the blue and gold satin cushion with King Kangin at his left and the Queen beside the King. Yunho can’t seem to take his eyes off Jaejoong, who still didn’t lift his head. It’s been a while since he can stare at Jaejoong this close, and it’s been a while since he saw Jaejoong cute shyness.
Both the King and Queen were talking happily with Siwon and Heechul to notice what happen between their sons. Looks like both couples are too happy with their old time memories to forget that they actually bring their sons here with them.
“Yunho,” King Kangin called his son.
Yunho turn his face to his left half willingly. He doesn’t want to take his eyes from Jaejoong yet. “Yes, appa?”
“You might not know this but the Kim couple here is Heewon by the way.”
Yunho frown before turn to look at the couple beside Jaejoong. “Heewon?”
Jaejoong lift his head slowly to face Yunho then turn toward his parents.
“Heewon…the ships and horsing company?” Yunho ask, a bit blurry.
“Yes, they are. They are appa and umma best friend,” Queen E-Teuk says.
“Yes, I’ve known Heewon is the royal best friend. But…I didn’t know who Heewon really is since you never come to palace,” Yunho said to the couple.
“Actually…” Siwon and Heechul exchange look before the father of his Jaejoong continue. “We had come to palace when we’re still in high school but now we’re not after baby Joongie was born,”
“Baby…Joongie…?” Yunho asks turn to Jaejoong who in return look at Yunho but immediately bend his head in shyness.
“Yes, that old time…” King Kangin said dreamy. “We’re old now since our sons will get married soon,”
“Jaejoong has grown up so pretty, I still remember he was in a pink buddle when he just two weeks when you came visits me,” Queen E-Teuk says.
“Oh yes, of course I remember it too,” Heechul continue. “You just gave birth to Yunho yet I’d come to palace when I myself just gave birth to my baby,”
“Yah, I didn’t ask you to come,” Queen E-Teuk argues.
“Yah, how could you say that? I come to palace just to see you and your son. Do you know how hard it is to walk in that condition?” Heechul shot back.
Both Yunho and Jaejoong look at their mother in horror, scared that they might end up in a fighting or something. But both the husbands, King Kangin and Siwon just smile and shook their head by their wives actions.
“This two…” King Kangin sighs.
“Don’t mind them, baby Joongie,” Siwon said to Jaejoong and hold his hand. “Mama always likes that when he’s with Teuki.”
Jaejoong widen his eyes, shock with the sudden words. Always? Is that mean his mother always go crazy whenever he meets the royal? Jaejoong’s black shining orbs obviously turn to scared one. He never thought that his loving mother would turns like this. His mother always soft and loving toward him and never raised his voice even once. Heck, Jaejoong never even heard Heechul’s loud voice.
“Rella dear…” Siwon called Heechul to stop the two friends.
Heechul turn to his left just to see Jaejoong’s sad, shock and scared face. Now he just remembers that his son is here.
“This is all you fault,” Heechul says and stand up from his sit.
“What? Why me?” Queen E-Teuk argues back.
Heechul walks to Jaejoong’s side and sit beside him. Jaejoong’s eyes followed Heechul every movement and without say a word, Heechul pull Jaejoong into his arms. Heechul stroke Jaejoong’s hair lovingly to console his scared feeling. Siwon’s hand still lock with Jaejoong’s and doesn’t want to let go.
“It’s okay…it’s okay. Don’t scare. Mama’s here. Mama’s sorry to let you see that. It’s okay now, baby…” Heechul says softly.
“Now you know right, Yunho? Why Kim couple didn’t step inside palace? Your umma and Chullie here can’t see each other and they always fight into nothing,” King Kangin said jokingly.
“What? They? Aren’t you too likes to argue with Siwon?” Queen E-Teuk said angrily.
“What? I’m telling the truth. Me and Siwon only argue about business matter, not something like you and Chullie,” King Kangin doesn’t seem to stop.
Yunho heard the now arguing parents of his but seems to ignore the loud voice by his side. What take his intention more is the now motherly-son action in front of his eyes. Its look sweet to have a very caring mother to soothing the scared feeling his son has. And Jaejoong looks really cute when he’s hugging by his loving mother in his protecting arms. Yunho can’t really see Jaejoong’s face since the pretty boy buried his face into Heechul’s chest.
What Yunho didn’t know is Jaejoong try very hard to prevent Yunho to see his face right now. He doesn’t know how shy he is to show his love one this side of his. Yunho didn’t know he’s a very pampered son to his parents and how Heechul like to do this mushy-mushy love thing with him.
“Yah, hyung-dul!” Siwon called the royal.
Just like that, the royal stop argues with each other before turn toward the Kim family. Then King Kangin and Queen E-Teuk exchange stares before they both, along with Siwon burst out into laughing. Once again, their actions shock both of their sons. Jaejoong who still hugging tightly by Heechul just look at them from the corner of his eyes while Heechul only giggle softly, not really joins the fun.
Heechul pull away a little to see Jaejoong’s now calm face. “Are you okay now, my baby?”
Without say a word, the pretty Jaejoong just nod his head as in he’s alright. Heechul smile with the reply and kiss Jaejoong’s forehead before totally let go of his son and stand up to sits back on his sit beside Siwon meanwhile Siwon’s hand let go of Jaejoong’s small one too.
“Yah, you scared my baby,”
“What? You start it first,”
“Enough it you two,” Siwon said quickly before the two wives start once again. “Don’t start in front of baby Joongie. You’ll scare him.”
Heechul quickly turn around to make sure his son is alright. And to his relief, Jaejoong seems fine this time and smile cutely at his mother.
Queen E-Teuk shakes his head a little. “I don’t know how a crazy one like you can raise a pretty son like Jaejoong. I admit that Jaejoong really pretty like you but I’m glad he’s not like your crazy self,”
“Yah!” Heechul shot him angrily. “My baby is a good boy, just like Woonie.”
Siwon and King Kangin laugh. Unknowingly Heechul already admit that he’s have some kind of crazy disease.
“This is why they didn’t come to palace since Jaejoong’s born,” King Kangin tells Yunho. “Heechul’s a bit crazy and can’t see your umma. The palace is full with protocol and guards and maids all over, so our fun meetings are a bit limited and we can’t have our fun like this.”
Yunho nod his head as in he’s understand.
“That’s only part of it, Yunho,” Siwon take turn to explain, at the same time explain it to his son. “Public knows our relationship is really strong. Even right now, they think that Heewon only can stand because of royal support. It didn’t really matter to us since we still can control the gossip. And up till now…no one know who Heewon real son is,”
“Yes, I know that, uncle. Rumors said there’s hard bounding with the royal and Heewon. And I myself didn’t really believe it since you never step inside palace, like you say. And about your son…” Yunho glance to Jaejoong.
Once again that night, Yunho and Jaejoong share the stares. And this time it’s a bit longer since Jaejoong didn’t bend his head in shyness or King Kangin cough or Heechul and Queen E-Teuk arguing.
“They didn’t want to show their son to public. Like the rumors said, Heewon are too protective to their son,” Queen E-Teuk said. “I admit it’s a good way to protect your son, but don’t you think you overdoing it?”
“What overdoing? I just want my baby to be safe from all bad possibility. He’s still studying. I don’t want he had a hard time dwelling with the students at his school. Who knows what will happen to my baby if public know who he is?” Heechul explain himself.
“Aren’t you send and pick Jaejoong up to and back school? How can they didn’t know your relationship with Jaejoong?” King Kangin asks.
“Of course my dear, King. I have tainted glass on my window, just like you,” Heechul reply sarcastically.
King Kangin laugh, realize his stupid question.
“Uncle, if you don’t mind, can I ask you something?” Yunho asks.
Now, all pair of eyes turns to Yunho makes the prince a bit nervous since his Jaejoong too look at him waiting for the question.
“What the meaning of Heewon?”
“Oh, that’s our name, Heechul and Siwon, so Heewon,” Siwon answer.
“The Heewon couple, I remember you’re our best rival on school couple competition,” King Kangin says.
“Yes, the Kangteuk and Heewon couple, of course. But we still didn’t know who the best couple really is since the competition are cancelled,” Siwon said.
“They should cancel it. I didn’t think we can face each other if one of us winning while the other lose,” Queen E-Teuk blurted his opinion.
“Yes, I agree with you, Teuki. Our friendship will burn to nothing if we still compete with each other,” Heechul said.
Both Yunho and Jaejoong look at their parents’ not in horror this time but in amazement indeed. They didn’t know that their parents hold a strong bonding friendship with each other without they know anything.
“You might not know this, Yunho. But Kim couple and us really best friends since we were…” Queen E-Teuk turns to Heechul.
“Since little. You’re my neighbor, remember?” Heechul continue for him.
“Yes, of course I remember.” Queen E-Teuk gives his nervous laugh. “We’re best friend since we were little and Kangin and Siwon is best friend themselves from other school. We met at DongBang High School and now…here we are.”
The three other oldies smile to their old memories. They would never forget those old time they shared together.
Siwon turns to look at Jaejoong just to see his son and Yunho once again stare deeply in each other eyes. They look like they are in their own land and forget their parents here. Siwon can sense something goes on between his son and this prince.
“Em…don’t you think we should start with the real reason why we meet tonight, Kangin?” Siwon asks.
“Oh yes, we should,” King Kangin realize the main reason they’re here. “Yunho…”
“Yes, appa,” Yunho broke the stare and look at his father, and same goes to Jaejoong too.
“We’re here to meet your future wife and his family, you know that right?”
Yunho turn back to Jaejoong then back to King Kangin. “Yes, appa,”
“Now, my son, Jaejoong here is your future wife and we had talk about this to let you get marry soon. It’s look like we can’t wait anymore before anything start to happen,” King Kangin explain.
“I…don’t understand.”
To tell the truth, Yunho’s really happy to know that the future wife of his is his lovely Jaejoong. He feels like he wants to fly really high in the sky with all the happiness. He doesn’t know how to thank to his parents to choose this lovely angel to be his princess. Yet, even though he’s happy, he still confuses and wants to know about the discussion his parents had with Kim couple.
“We’ve make a promise when you just born, Yunho,” King Kangin start to explain. “That we want to further our friendship to one step more so that our relationship wouldn’t broke,”
“We promise…to pair our sons up when they’re old enough to get marry. I hope you didn’t mind to take our Joongie baby to be by your side,”
“I don’t care if you’re the prince or not. You’ll be my son in law so you have to take responsibility on my baby. My baby still young and don’t you dare to play with him since he sacrifice his life to be in palace,”
“Jaejoong are really pretty, don’t you think so, Yunho? He’ll be a great princess to you and to our people.”

Jaejoong stood at the bridge of the small lake, taking the beautiful scenery of the high class private restaurant. The night sky full with twinkling stars while the lake full with golden fishes. The night breeze blow slowly by his face and make his hair flow softly. Unknown to him, Yunho been watching him from the door to the garden suite since he step up on the bridge. His delicate figure under the stars really a breath taking scenery for the prince.
It’s the first time ever for Yunho to see Jaejoong in a cloth other than his school uniform. To top with that, the cloth he’s wearing tonight is a really beautiful suit and makes Jaejoong looks even prettier.
Yunho step out from the suite and make his way to the bridge really carefully to not distract any attention from the old couple inside nor the pretty boy outside.
‘You’re so pretty, Boo. You don’t know how I really miss you these past few days. It’s really hurt to not able to come to you, to not able to hold your hand, to not able to hear you soft voice, to not able to see your cute smile…it’s really hurt, Boo. I really miss you.’
Yunho’s foot steps on the bridge, still unknown to Jaejoong since the pretty boy too drown in the scenery.
‘I’ve to thanks to our parents to make the promise since we were little. If they not, we’ll separate forever and I’ll die cause I can’t live without you…’
Jaejoong startled when he feels a pair of strong arms circling his waist but calm down when Yunho’s face pop up behind his shoulder. Yunho rest his chin on Jaejoong’s broad shoulder and tighten his arms around Jaejoong’s small waist. Jaejoong put his hand on Yunho and the prince pulls his hand a little to hold Jaejoong’s soft one.
They can see each other faces from the lake below them. Yunho can see clearly Jaejoong’s tears fall from his eyes to his delicate cheek. The prince tightens the hug. He can feel himself to get teary if he’s not strong enough. He knows the tears that Jaejoong leak out now and the tears that he tries very hard to hold are the tears of happiness.
It’s funny how fate plays with them. It’s like just yesterday they exchange stares from afar cause afraid to approach each other first, it’s like just yesterday they know each other from Changmin, it’s like just yesterday they are happy in their love line, it’s like just yesterday they fall into tears break up, and right now…they’re together once again because of their parents. It’s really hard to believe their love fate.
“Yah, Jung Yunho! What are you doing?”
The loud voice startled the love birds and both of them turns to look at furious Heechul with Siwon, King Kangin and Queen E-Teuk. Jaejoong quickly pull his hands from Yunho and wipe his cheek. But to no avail, Heechul already saw it and become more furious than ever.
“What.did.you.do.”
