Back over to Raymond. Poor Raymond was still waiting for Tavia to get off work and finally at around midnight, Tavia walks out of the office building. Spotting Tavia walk out, Raymond got out of the car and yelled, “Tavia... over here!”
Tavia turned around and saw Raymond. “Ray, what are you doing here? I thought you went home already.” She walked over to Raymond’s car.
Raymond opened the car door for her. “I was kinda worried. It's late and you're still out here on your own.”
“Aw... Thank you Ray. How very sweet of you!” Tavia smiled as she blushed.
Raymond smiled in return and got back into the driver’s seat. As he started the engine of the car, Tavia yawned. “Tavia, if you’re tired... take a nap. I’ll wake you up when we arrive.”
Tavia smiled and said, “Okay.” She closed her eyes and adjusted the seat slightly backwards.
15 minutes later, they arrived at Tavia’s house. Raymond turned over to Tavia but realized that she was fast asleep already. He looked at her angelic face and thought how pretty she looked. “She must be tired. I’ll let her sleep for a while.” He whispered as he carefully unbuckled her seat belt. Taking his jacket off, he placed it over Tavia. He turned the engine off and opened the window slightly so they could get some fresh air. Raymond turned back to his seat and tried to make himself comfortable. Crossing his arm, he closed his eyes as well.
Two hours later, Tavia suddenly opened her eyes. Looking around she realized she was still in Raymond’s car. Turning over to the driver’s seat, she saw Raymond sleeping. It was obvious that he drove her back and since she fell asleep, he didn’t want to wake her up. She removed Raymond’s jacket and placed it back on Raymond. When she placed the jacket on Raymond, he twitched his nose. She giggled quietly at Raymond’s cuteness and started to think of whether or not she should wake him up. Finally, she decided that she should wake him up because she was sure that after a night sleeping in the car, Raymond was bound to catch a cold. Plus, he should go home to sleep. Tavia nudged Raymond lightly on the arm and whispered into his ears. “Ray, time to wake up... Ray.”
Raymond twitched his nose again and then gradually opened his eyes. “Huh?” he grunted.
Tavia pulled herself away and smiled. “Sorry that I fell asleep. You should go home and get some rest too.”
Raymond rubbed his eyes and smiled at Tavia. “Don’t worry. You looked tired and plus I didn’t want to wake you up.”
“You sure you can make it home?” Tavia asked worriedly.
“Hey don’t worry. I don’t live that far away.” Raymond replied as he stretched his arms.
Tavia got out of the car and Raymond started the engine. “Goodnight Ray. Drive safely. I’ll call you tomorrow.” Tavia smiled at Raymond.
“Goodnight Tavia. I’ll talk to you tomorrow. Go in. It’s cold out here!” Raymond said.
“I’ll go in once you drive off.” Tavia smiled and once Raymond drove off, she entered her house.

The following morning, Raymond was sitting in his office working when his phone started to ring. It was Tavia. “Hey Tavia...” Raymond cried out happily.
“Hey Ray. I take it you managed to get out of bed okay... didn’t oversleep huh?” she laughed on the other line.
“Nope. I was back in the office 9am sharp!” Raymond boasted.
“Hehe... okay, okay. Anyhow, you free for dinner tonight?” Tavia asked on the other line.
“Of course!” Raymond laughed.
“Okay cool. Where should we eat?” Tavia asked.
“I don’t know. What do you feel like eating?” Raymond asked back.
“Um...”
“Why don’t we go for some Japanese food tonight.” Suggested Raymond.
“Oh that sounds good. Let’s go to Tanaka’s over at Stanley.” Tavia replied enthusiastically.
“Okay. I’ll book at table and pick you up later. How about I pick you up at 6:30?” Raymond asked.
“Sounds good. 6:30 is it. I’ll see you then!” Tavia replied as she hung up afterwards.
Just as Tavia was about to start work she heard someone walk in.
“Sounds like you got another date with Raymond...” Leila grinned.
“Oh hey Lei. Um... it’s not a date. Just dinner with a friend. By the way, do you know that the person you were going to introduce me to was actually Ray?” Tavia laughed.
“Yep. I sure do. Hehe... I also know a lot more.” Leila continued grinning.
Tavia put her pen down and glared at Leila. “Okay, what is it that you want to tell me this time?”
“You know Raymond or should I call him RAY like you do...? Well, you know Raymond likes you?” Leila giggled.
Tavia not really knowing how to respond, “Well...”
“He’s not bad.” Leila continued.
“I know he’s not bad. I just...” Tavia stuttered.
“You just don’t know if you’re ready to start another relationship yet, right?” Leila interrupted.
“Yes. Exactly.” Tavia nodded in agreement.
“Do you know Raymond can’t eat spicy food? Every time he eats spicy food, his stomach will go all funny but because you like it, and he didn’t want to see you unhappy, he still went for Thai food?” Leila laughed.
“What?! How do you know? Tavia asked.
“Bosco, his best friend told me.” Leila explained. “Consider him... and maybe give him a chance. Ask yourself if you enjoy the times spent with him...”
“It’s not that... but until now, he still hasn’t confessed to me that he likes me.” Tavia argued.
“My goodness... well maybe that’s because you never gave him any signs! Try to hint to him that you like him too. It’s soooooo obvious that he’s nuts about you! Plus, you kinda like him too! Don’t try to deny it Tav. I know you way too well!” Leila exclaimed as she got up to leave the room.
Tavia continue to stay put and she started to think of the times spent with Raymond lately. Thinking of all the things he did and all the happy times, Tavia smiled.
