“Hello Ron?” Tavia said.
“Hi Tavia… You got the present?” Ron asked on the other line.
“I thought it was from you. I was right.” Tavia laughed. Raymond hearing Tavia say she was right looked at her immediately.
“Hey just because we broke up, doesn’t mean I can’t send a friend a Christmas present. Plus I always wanted to find a chance to apologize for what I did before.” Ron laughed.
“Don’t mention it. That was way in the past. Plus my family and I are no longer angry or upset. Anyhow, thank you. Since you got me something, why don’t I treat you to dinner. You free tonight?” Tavia asked.
“Dinner tonight sounds good.” Ron replied.
“Good. Tonight at 7:30. Um… at Gianni’s.” Tavia said and looked at Raymond. “See you then. Bye.”
“So I take it you’re having dinner with him tonight?” Raymond asked immediately when Tavia placed the phone down.
“Ray, why you so nervous? I wasn’t saying that I’m eating with him alone. I was expecting you to come with me.” Tavia who sensed that Raymond was a bit uncomfortable with the reappearance of Ron into their lives.
“You sure?” Raymond asked quietly.
“Of course I’d want you to come along. You need to be there to protect me. I mean what if Ron does something to me?” Tavia walked over to Raymond and hugged him from the back. Whispering into his ears, “I’m just kidding. Plus, I can introduce you to Ron. Tell him that you’re the man that I love now and NO ONE ELSE COMES CLOSE!”
“Okay then.” Raymond said as he placed the crystal down.
“Now, can we go for lunch?” Tavia asked as she pulled Raymond out from his seat.
“Of course. Anything MY girlfriend says.” Raymond replied as he got up to hug Tavia.
Tavia giggled.
“Which reminds me. If you ever want anything like that piece of crystal, you can tell me. I can afford to buy you something like that. Actually I can buy hundreds or even thousands of them if you want!” Raymond exclaimed.
“I see someone is JEALOUS?!” Tavia laughed.
“JEALOUS? No WAY!” Raymond laughed along and walked out with Tavia.
“HAH. Can’t you even tell a LIE to make me happy?” Tavia pouted.
“Okay, okay. I’m very JEALOUS. He better not come any closer. Or else I’m going to bite his head off!” Raymond chuckled.
“Oooh. That causing someone Grievous Bodily Harm… you can get sued for that!” Tavia laughed at Raymond.
“It’s okay. I’m going to hire you as my lawyer. You’ll help me right? After all, I got in all this mess because I love you too much!” Raymond whined.
“That’s going to be an awful lot of pressure you’re placing on me. Plus I’m very expensive!” Tavia giggled as they enter the elevator.

“Ray, stop fidgeting. Calm down. We’re just meeting a friend for dinner.” Tavia calmed Raymond down by holding onto his hand. Raymond took a deep breath. Spotting Ron enter, Tavia waved at him. “Ron over here.”
Seeing them Ron walked over and gave Tavia a friendly hug. Immediately after they break away from each other, Raymond pulled Tavia back to his side and placed his arm around her waist.
“Let me introduce you guys to each other.” Tavia laughed. “Ron, this is my boyfriend Raymond Lam. Ray, this is Ron Ng.” The two men smiled and shook hands.
Sitting down, Ron smiled at Tavia. “You look great.”
“Thank you.” Tavia smiled back and touched Raymond’s hand.
“Raymond, so what do you do?” Ron asked as he flipped the menu open.
“I work for my family. We’re in the property business.” Raymond replied.
“I see.” Ron nodded.
“So are we ready to order?” Tavia asked as the waiter walked over.
“Sure.” Both Raymond and Ron replied.
“I’ll have the Tomato and Mozzarella salad for my starter and for my main course, I’ll have the Lasagna.” Raymond said.
“I’ll take house salad with Feta Cheese and for my main course… I’ll take the Carbonara.” Ron told the waiter.
“What would you like miss?” the waiter asked Tavia who was still looking at the menu.
“Um… if I remember correctly, this beautiful lady here would like the Tomato and Mozzarella salad for her starter as well. As for main course, she’ll take the Tomato and Basil pasta.” Ron interrupted.
Tavia laughed. “Yes. That’s what I will have.”
“Okay, your food will be served very shortly.” The waiter replied and left the table.
Picking her water glass, Tavia looked at Ron and laughed. “Your memory is very good. You still remember!”
“You never change do you?” Ron laughed.
Looking at the two talk and laugh, Raymond started to feel a bit left out.
