Chapter 29

A week in London passed by very quickly. Both Tavia and Raymond had a very sweet vacation together. However, their sweet vacation had to end eventually since both of them had to work.

Back in Hong Kong – Tavia’s office.
“Finally back! How was your vacation with Raymond? Had a lot of fun I assume.” Leila exclaimed as she walked into Tavia’s room. “So what did you get me?”
“It was great. Would have stayed a bit longer but then we both got to work.” Tavia giggled as she handed Leila her present from London.
“Oooh… is that a new watch you’re wearing?” Leila asked as she caught sight of Tavia’s watch.
“Hehe… yep. I bought it with Ray when we were in London. I bought him the men’s version of this watch and he got me the female’s version.” Tavia laughed as she looked at her watch.
“How sweet?!” Leila giggled.
“Haha… so what kinda sweet things do you do with my brother?” Tavia asked as she nudged Leila.
“Hm… none of your business!” Leila giggled. “Secret!” Leila laughed and walked towards the door. “By the way, thanks for the present!”
“Haha… fine. Don’t tell me!” Tavia pouted. “Don’t forget about dinner at my house tonight.”
“Don’t worry. Your brother already reminded me!” Leila smiled.
“Oh sorry Tong Dai-jong, someone delivered these flowers to you while you were in Yeung Dai-jong’s room.” May interrupted Leila while she was on her way out of Tavia’s room.
“Oh thank you May.” Leila smiled as she took the flowers.
“So this is what my brother does… HOW SWEET!” Tavia yelled from her desk.
Leila popped her head back into Tavia’s room and stuck her tongue out. Tavia laughed and turned back to her work.

In Tavia’s house.
“So how’s the wedding preparation coming along? You sure you don’t need our help?” Matt asked.
“Nope. We can manage. Daddy and Ray’s parents already booked the hotel ballroom and we’re leaving the decoration and all the rest to the wedding planner. All Ray and I have to do is to go and take our wedding pictures.” Tavia said. “Which reminds me, Lei are you free this Saturday afternoon? I got to go try my wedding gown and you also need to try your bridesmaid gown.”
“This Saturday? Should be okay.” Leila smiled.
“So is Bosco going to be Raymond’s best man?” Matt asked.
“Yep.” Tavia smiled.
“Are you worried that Leila and Bosco…” Tavia giggled.
“What are you talking about?” Leila nudged Tavia. “Bosco has Sharon already.”
“I’m not worried. I trust you Lei.” Matt smiled and kissed Leila lightly on the cheeks.
“Ugh… you two please leave the hugging and kissing for later when I’m not around!” Tavia giggled.
“Hey I don’t complain when I see you and Raymond hugging and kissing…!” Matt exclaimed as he placed his arms around Leila.
“Did I hear my name?” Raymond asked as he walked over to the dining room with Mr. Yeung. “Hi sweetie.” Raymond smiled as he kissed Tavia lightly on the cheeks.
“SEE?!” Both Matt and Leila exclaimed.
Tavia grinned and stuck her tongue out.
“So what are my children arguing about this time?” Mr. Yeung chuckled.
“Nothing Dad. Just Tavia being the usual annoying her!” Matt replied.
“Whatever. You’re the annoying one!” Tavia rebutted immediately.
“Anyway, you two better stop. Can’t you both grow up? Sweetheart, you’re going to get married soon. Yet you still act like a little kid.” Mr. Yeung chuckled.
“I’m only like that in front of you daddy. I’m never like that in court.” Tavia whined as she swung her father’s arm back and forth. They all looked at Tavia and started laughing.
“Whatever! Tavia grow up!” Matt added.
“I wasn’t done yet. Matt you’re not any better either. You’re the older one, yet you always pick on your little sister.” Mr. Yeung continued.
“But…” Matt blurted out.
“No BUTS.” Mr. Yeung stopped them and then laughed. “Enough lecturing for now. Let’s start eating!”
Everyone looked at one another and then started to laugh.

Saturday – At the photo studio.
“Wow… My goodness. Am I dreaming? You look absolutely STUNNING!” Raymond cried out as Tavia walked out of the changing room in her wedding gown.
“You don’t look so bad yourself.” Tavia laughed. Raymond walked forward and gave her a peck on the cheeks. “Where’s Leila and Bosco?” Tavia asked.
“No idea. Probably still changing.” Raymond shrugged his shoulders and hugged Tavia. While Raymond and Tavia were happily whispering and laughing together, they suddenly heard Leila voice.
“Hurry… they must be waiting for us. What took you so long to get changed? You’re very slow for a guy!” Leila said as they walked up the stairs.
“Hey, I had to wait for you to get out of the changing room. You’re the one who took forever! All your fault!” Bosco argued as they continued walking.
“Hey, how come your tie looks so ugly? You picked the wrong tie! This tie doesn’t go with this suit!” Leila cried out.
“Look at your shoes. You’re not any better. You’re still wearing your sneakers.” Bosco pointed out.
“Wow… you two… calm down. Take it easy.” Raymond laughed.
“We’re not in a hurry. You guys can slow down. Stop the bickering.” Tavia smiled.
“If we both didn’t know you two, we would have thought you guys looked like a really CUTE couple!” Raymond laughed.
“HIM/HER?!” Both Leila and Bosco cried out as they pointed at the other. “NO WAY!”
“Matt is so much better than him!” Leila smirked.
“Sharon is so much better than her! If I really wanted to go out with her, I would have asked her out in University. Obviously she’s not my type. I don’t go out with fierce women.” Bosco grinned.
“Whatever...” Tavia shook her head and let out a smile. “Stop arguing and go change whatever you guys need to. Ray and I are going to take our pictures first. Lei, if you need to get anything altered just tell Mrs. Li here. She’s the owner of this shop.” Tavia smiled as she and Raymond walked off.
“She’ll probably need to have the whole dress loosened since she’s so fat!” Bosco chuckled.
“Very funny Bosco!” Leila smirked. Bosco grinned victoriously when he saw Leila’s angry reaction. Leila returned a face hinting to him that she wasn’t going to give in this easily.
An hour later, Tavia and Raymond were finally done with they their photo shooting session. Bosco and Leila has stopped their bickering long ago and has already left the studio to go meet their other halves.
“So when’s the big day?” Mrs. Li asked.
“August 30 which is also the birthday of Ms. Yeung.” Raymond replied.
“Oh I see that’s pretty soon. Having it on the same day as your birthday…that’s really sweet.” Mrs. Li commented and smiled at Tavia.
“I’m taking that Mr. Lam just wants to save up an extra present every year. He only needs to buy one present for my birthday and for our anniversary.” Tavia giggled.
“That’s exactly what I had in mind!” Raymond laughed as he placed his arms around Tavia.
“I see. Anyhow Mr. Lam, Ms. Yeung your photos should be ready by Friday. You can both come then and pick out the ones you like.” Said Mrs. Li as she smiled at the happy couple.
“Thank you very much. We’ll both be here next Friday.” Tavia smiled as they shook hands with Mrs. Li.
“I have to say, you two look extremely good together.” Mrs. Li added.
“Thank you. I’m very happy that I’m going to be marrying such a beautiful lady!” Raymond chuckled as he opened the car doors for the blushing Tavia. “Good-bye.”
